hey guys! i really had fun writing this one; you and Iida already have an established relationship and you two are about 18. i will try not to specify any winter holidays and i'm not trying to offend anyone with my references. hope you guys enjoy! <3 peachy

I walked up to the door holding my handmade cookies and a large bag full of wrapped packages. The huge house was intimidating to me and my hand shook as I reached for the doorbell. I pushed it, causing a cheerful bell to ring out. I could hear people clamoring inside, feet running back and forth. My breath steamed in the cold air as I waited for someone to let me in. As I patiently waited, I noticed a delicate crystal of ice fall onto the ground of previously fallen snow. "I guess we'll be getting some more snow... I wonder if the trains will still be running okay. There's a lot of ice and snow on the ground already."

Finally the door opened and I was greeted with the sight of my boyfriend, Tenya Iida. "Y/n! I'm so sorry for making you wait so long, you must be freezing." He grabbed my plate of cookies and held the door open for me. "Thanks Tenya, but I'm okay." I gratefully entered the enormous house and smiled at him. I noticed that he was wearing a brash green sweater that had colorful string lights on it. And they actually lit up!

"That's quite the sweater..." I held back a laugh while pointing at it. Tenya was usually so serious that this flamboyant sweater didn't match his normal style. "Is there something wrong with it?" He looked down at his sweater as we made our way to the kitchen. "No no! It's great, I love it." Tenya set the cookies down on the marble island in the middle of a huge kitchen. He pulled me closer to him and we lightly kissed. The warmth of his lips banished any lingering chill that I held from outside. "Thanks for coming over. I know that it was a lot to ask, but I hope you have a good time." 

"It was no trouble, I love being with you so it was actually great news for me!" I threaded my fingers through his, sending a rush of pink through his cheeks. "Tenya! Who came-" Tenya's mom ran into the kitchen to see me cuddling with her son. Even though I felt very comfortable with his family, when she came into the room I felt myself turn red. I wanted to pull my cat-eared hat over my face and hide; I knew that Tenya had a lot of pressure from his family to do well in life and I had always felt like I wasn't good enough for them.

However Mrs. Iida kindly smiled at me and opened her arms for a hug. I let go of Tenya to return her hug. "Oh Y/n! Tenya told me that you might be coming so I'm delighted that you could make it!"

"Wouldn't miss it for the world." She squeezed my shoulder before rushing off at the sound of someone else calling for her. As she dashed away, I noticed that she was wearing a bright red sweater with multicolored ornaments embroidered into it. Tenya and I began to help with dinner preparations after I had dropped off my bag in his room. Everyone of his family members that I saw were wearing bright and festive holiday sweaters. "I feel a little under dressed haha..."  

After dinner, Tenya took me back up to his room. "Wow, that was so good!" I laid down on his bed, sleepily stretching my arms. "Thanks Y/n... Your cookies were amazing as well. The decorations were quite cute." He laid down next to me and I giggled shyly, thinking of my elementary decorating skills. "You're just being nice!" I turned my cheek as he pulled me close.

"No! It's the truth!" He rubbed my back as I hid in his chest. "Wait! I have gifts for you and your family!" I abruptly sat up and ran toward the large bag that was next to his door. I reached in, fishing out a large package wrapped in blue and gold paper with a gorgeous bow. "This is for you Tenya!" I held it out for him with a huge smile on my face. 

"Really, for me?" He gingerly reached out for the package, tearing away at the paper. Inside were a pair of the nicest running shoes on the market in his favorite colors, blue and sliver. "Y/n! You shouldn't have... I've been looking for these for months now!" He swiftly wrapped his arms around me and brought our lips together. I leaned into him, forcing the kiss to become deeper. 

When we split apart I began to trace the pattern on his sweater, which reminded me of his family members and their sweaters. "Hey Tenya,"

"Yes?" He gently played with the parts of my hair that weren't covered by my hat. "Why are you and your family wearing these sweaters?" I couldn't help but laugh a little, thinking of how serious Tenya was. 

"Oh these? My mom likes them!" He started laughing with me. "They're pretty funny, right?" I nodded my head, still giggling. "I should probably change out of it... It is rather ridiculous." He began to pull it off, revealing his abs muscles. "Wait!" I ran over and pulled it back over his head. "It's cute."

"You think so?" His face turned a little pink. "Yeah, you should leave it on." I toyed with one of the lights with amusement. "Okay, I will. Just for you though..." He walked over to his nightstand, opening on of the drawers and taking out a small white box. "I also happen to have a gift for you as well..." 

I took the small box from his hand, eagerly untying the sliver ribbon. In the inside there was a beautiful necklace; a simple cherry blossom pendent with a single stone in the center than shone brighter than any star. "Oh Tenya! It's beautiful!" I quickly clasped it around my neck and gently fiddle with it. I ran up to my boyfriend, who was sitting on the bed, and gave him a passionate kiss. 

He took it a bit further, pulling me down onto the bed. I was under him, looking up at his handsome face. I reached up to pull his glasses off and he leaned down for another kiss. And another. And another...

Soon my face was burning from all the affection he was showing me. Our tongues danced like snowflakes, his bold movements almost too much for me. I broke to gasp for air when I heard the door start to open. "Tenya!" I whisper-shouted a quick warning to him and abruptly sat up straight. Mrs. Iida poked her head through the doorway. "Hey Y/n, I just got word that the trains would be running late tonight... They might even be closed until morning." 

I glanced out the window and soon understood why. The snow had been steadily piling up the entire time that I had been here. "Wait, mother, can Y/n stay the night with us?" Tenya immediately asked his mom with concern. 

"I don't see why not! Is that alright with you sweetie?" 

"If you would let me stay here I would be ever so grateful." I respectfully bowed my head as Mrs. Iida smiled and nodded. "Of course you're welcome to stay the night! Make yourself at home! Tenya, I'm going to sleep now, so just get her whatever she needs."

"Yes mother." She walked out of the room with a small wave. Tenya quickly closed the door behind her and locked it. "We should get ready for bed."

I had borrowed one of Tenya's old shirts, wearing it like a small dress. I shivered a little; despite the heating, I still felt cold. Tenya saw me shivering and pulled back the blankets on his bed. "Come on, you'll freeze if you stay there."

My cheeks pink, I climbed into the bed next to him. The thick fur blankets warmed me up, but not nearly as much as Tenya himself. He had his arms wrapped around me and my head was buried in the crook of his neck. I felt him gently kiss my hair, his arm rubbing circles on my back. "Goodnight Y/n..." he sleepily mumbled into my hair.

"Night Tenya..." I snuggled into him even further and we stayed like that all night, not a single bit of bitterness bothering us.
