When Daddy's Upset
❤️ TodoDeku 💚
(Y/n) skips down the stairs with a small hum, a bright smile playing on her lips as she reaches the downstairs hallway and toddles toward the living room wearing her Endeavor onesie. A small yawn leaving her lips as she leans against the doorway to try and see where her parents have flitted off too. Her eyes landing on a rather sad looking Todoroki who is sitting on the couch with a tub of ice cream sitting in his lap. The male eating it out of the tub as he watches the tv.
Immediately, the girl knows that something is up. Shoto doesn't eat ice cream unless he's happy or he's sad and he definitely isn't in a happy mood. So this is pretty unusual.
Sighing to himself, Shoto scoops up a spoonful of chocolate ice cream and licks it up from his spoon with a hum. His eyes sparkling with tears as he looks toward the tv; the male trying to hold back his tears as he stabs at the block of ice cream with a small pout. A small hum leaving his lips as he assesses the ice cream on the spoon before gobbling it down. His eyes never really leaving the tv screen unless he's judging his ice cream.
Unfortunately, Shoto and his mother got into a fight. Something that is extremely rare to occur within the Todoroki family. So when something like that does happen, it sort of shakes the family. Shoto and Toya first got into an argument then Shoto went to talk to his mother when she took his older brothers side. Which Shoto didn't appreciate... which then got him kicked out of his childhood home because he didn't agree with what Toya had said...
So he's now thinking of what will happen if he just arrests his brothers the the thirty murders he has committed since his father couldn't do that right.
Humming to herself, the girl turns on her heel and heads toward the garden. The girl opens up the back door and ignores her father calling for her as she walks toward the hutch where Mighty is situated. She giggles gently and pulls the lion lopped rabbit into her arms, kissing his forehead before walking toward the living room with the rabbit nestled into her arms.
As she walks into the living room, Shoto looks toward her and chuckles as she sets the rabbit onto the carpet between her legs. The male sits opposite her and joins her, spreading his legs to make a little barrier for Mighty so he can only venture around. The rabbit squeaking gently as he looks around and sniffs at the older male.
"Daddy? Are you okay?" (Y/n) asks looking toward her father who chuckles gently and clears his throat as he lets Mighty nibble at a carrot, "You don't usually eat ice cream unless your sad..."
"Daddy just had a disagreement with Grammy Rei," Shoto explains looking toward his daughter who nods gently and strokes Mighty's fluffy back, "So he doesn't feel 100% my little cinder,"
"Why?" She asks looking up at him, the male smiling softly, "You and Grammy Rei never fight?... Is everything okay?"
"Well... sometimes, baby, parents and their kids fight," He explains, trying to explain it in a way for (Y/n) to understand so she knew the situation, "That doesn't mean that we don't love each other... it's just sometimes you need to fight to let out some... stress..."
"Like when you and mama have a fight?" She asks, letting Mighty chew on a lettuce leaf with a small squeak, "You fight but then you come back and still love each other?"
"Yeah, exactly like that sweetie," he says with a small smile, ruffling her hair as she looks toward him, "Daddy and Uncle Toya had a bit of a disagreement and Grammy took Uncle Toya's side when he was in the wrong,"
"Maybe Grammy Rei is... what does Uncle Kachaan say..." she wonders looking around the room as she tries to remember what Katsuki had told her during one of their babysitting moments before her eyes light up, "That's it! Maybe Grammy Rei is being a... l —"
"Don't finish that word, I'm gonna have to have a word with Uncle Kacchan for telling you words you shouldn't say," he says running his fingers through his hair while the girl giggles innocently and kisses his cheek, "But yes, I suppose she could have been sucking up to my brother,"
"You could always trick him into leaving his house," The girl says making Shot chuckle gently. The girl knew that her oldest uncle was under house arrest at the moment due to the crimes he had committed, "Then he could go to big boy prison!"
"I won't do that to my brother despite how tempting it is," Shoto hums, ruffling his daughters hair and kisses her nose while she holds Mighty gently to her chest, "Maybe we can get grandpa to get us cold soba? Yeah?"
"Yeah! I'll call him!" She says excitedly as she grabs her fathers phone and unlocks it to call her grandfather, "Grandpa never says no to me!"
Shoto chuckles as the girl babbles to her grandpa to ask for soba. Her bright and bubbly personality making his heart ache at how adorable she was being. No matter what she does, he always manages to break out a smile. She's always smiling and she's always happy... he doesn't know how she does it but he is extremely grateful that she can cheer him up.
The male hugs the bunny rabbit and watches as his daughter babbles to her grandfather about her own fathers feelings before handing the phone to Shoto who holds it to his ear.
"Want me to have a word with your mother?" Enji asks making Shoto chuckle, "And what soba? Your usual I'm assuming?"
"Yeah, our usuals please," Shoto says with a laugh as Enji sighs across the line, "And don't worry about doing that, it's fine,"
"Mhm, (Y/n) tells me it's Toya's fault,"...
"She tells you everything, doesn't she?"...
"Because I'm her favourite,"...

Hitoshi sighs gently to himself as he heads toward the staff room of U.A high, the male yawning as he knocks on the door before pushing the door open to show his presence toward the staff already inside. Running his fingers through his hair, Hitoshi looks around and smiles gently when his eyes lay on his daughter who is sat in her Grandpa Shota's lap and reading a story to him while he braids her hair gently.
On odd days, mainly Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, Shota and Hizashi would pick (Y/n) up from school due to Denki and Hitoshi being at work. After they pick her up, they'd take her back to U.A and help her with her homework and spend time with her before either Denki or Hitoshi would be able to pick her up and take her home.
Today, Hitoshi was going to pick her up, simply due to the fact that he had finished work earlier. Well, that and because he didn't have the best day...
With Hitoshi not being as flashy as his boyfriend, a lot of rude interviewers think it's okay to put Hitoshi down about his quirk. As well as telling Hitoshi that his quirk isn't flashy, he's also told that his quirk was fit for a villain...
Which brought up horrible memories...
Upon seeing her father, the girl excitedly sets her book down and instantly jumps into his arms. The male laughs and kisses her cheek, rubbing her back as she snuggles into him with a bright giggle. Her eyes sparkling as she looks up at her father as he kisses her forehead and looks toward his adoptive father.
"You okay?" Shota asks tilting his head, noticing Hitoshi's reluctance to smile at first as he holds his daughter close and rocks her gently, "Whats happened?"
"Just had a rough day," Hitoshi says softly, rubbing his daughters back as she looks up at him and begins fiddling with his hair making him hum, "Ready to go, firefly?"
"Yeah!" (Y/n) chirps happily, smiling toward her father who kisses her cheek and grabs her school bag from Hizashi who sends him a reassuring smile, "Thank you Grandpa!"
"You're welcome sweetie," Shota hums, kissing her cheek before ruffling Hitoshi's hair, "You'll be alright, okay? Maybe get takeout or something tonight? What time does Denki finish?"
"He's got the night shift so it's just (Y/n) and I this evening," Hitoshi says, rubbing his nose against his daughters making her giggle and stick her tongue out, "So tonight will consist of movies, takeout and cats,"
"Living the dream," Shota hums, kissing his granddaughters forehead before letting Hitoshi and (Y/n) make their way home.
When the pair get home, Hitoshi instantly collapses onto the couch making his daughter tilt her head worriedly and walk over. Her eyes glistening with worry as she sees her father curl up on the couch with a small sigh.
Hitoshi wasn't usually so open with his emotions. If he ever felt upset or lonely, he would keep it to himself. He didn't rant, he didn't scream his emotions out... he bottled it up and refused to let it out. He didn't like being vulnerable around people, unless it was his husband. Unfortunately, Denki doesn't finish work till early in the morning...
"Daddy?" (Y/n) asks, poking his cheek making him turn toward her lazily, "Okay?"
"Yeah... daddy's okay..." Hitoshi hums, leaning into her hand before watching as she turns around and goes to walk off, "Where are you going?"
"To get Sparky," The girl chirps happily, kissing her father on his forehead gently before clearing her throat and skipping off, "Sparky will cheer daddy up!"
Hitoshi chuckles as he watches his daughter skip off. The girl heads toward her bedroom where Sparky is curled up on her cat bed in the corner. The cat mewls gently upon seeing her owner and nuzzles into her hand when she strokes her. Slowly, the girl picks up her cat and kisses her forehead before heading back downstairs to see her father who perks up at the sight of the cat.
"Hey baby," he coos, pulling the cat into his arms and kisses her cheek as she nuzzles him and purrs happily, "Wanna have pizza or fried chicken tonight?"
"Pizza!" The girl squeals, clapping her hands before she snuggles into her father and kisses his cheek, "You don't need to be sad daddy! I'm here!"
"You're adorable, sweetie,"...
"Well duh, there's no way you or papa can be adorable,"...
"Your papa can be adorable when he wants to be,"...

(Y/n) looks toward Eri as her older sister bites her lip nervously. The pair of them sharing an anxious look as they see their father sitting in the living room with tears rolling down his face. Their eyes widening slightly as Hizashi sobs and buries his face into his pillow with a small curse. The male hugging the pillow close while he cries into the soft fabric. His shoulders shaking with every cry he makes.
Both Eri and (Y/n) didn't know how to handle this. Sure, when Shota was upset they know how to handle because Shota has a lot of terrible days but... they've never ever seen Hizashi so upset. Hizashi is usually so bubbly and happy.
This is way out of character for him...
Slowly, being the braver of the two, (Y/n) toddles toward her father and gently taps his arm with a small hum. Her eyes widening slightly when she sees her father look up with puffy red eyes, tears staining his cheeks and eyes as he wipes his eyes with his sleeves. The male clears his throat and runs his fingers through his hair as he sets the pillow down.
Eri walks over then, her eyes watering slightly as she feels sad that her father is sad. The blondes eyes widen slightly as he chuckles curtly and pulls his daughter close to his chest. The older girl snuggles into his chest and kisses his cheek while (Y/n) whines and makes grabby hands toward her father. Instantly, the blonde pulls his girls close and rocks them gently with a small sniffle.
"Daddy? What's wrong?" (Y/n) asks fiddling with his blonde locks, the girl looking up at her father as he clears his throat and kisses her forehead, "Why you cry?"
"Daddy's just not having a good day," Hizashi says, holding his girls close as they snuggle into him with a small hum, "Some kids can be really cruel, and daddy can't be as strong as he thinks he is sometimes,"
"Wanna go play the drums?" Eri asks tilting her head toward her father who chuckles and wipes his eyes, "(Y/n) and I wanna play the guitars,"
"That sounds pretty good," Hizashi hums, taking a deep breath as he lets Eri slide off his lap before pushing to his feet and holding his youngest daughter close, "I love you girls so much,"
"We love you too daddy," The girls reply simultaneously as they look toward their father with bright smiles making his heart squeeze with joy.
Hizashi follows Eri down the hallway and up the stairs to their spare room where the instruments the family plays are situated. The whole room is sound proofed so the neighbours won't complain nor will Shota have their head if they wake him up. Eri opens up the door and skips toward the flute and the guitar that she plays with a brig smile.
As (Y/n) is set down on her feet, she skips toward her guitar, violin and saxophone with a smile before grabbing her guitar. Her eyes glittering with happiness as Hizashi adjusts the position of the guitar and kisses her forehead.
"Remember your chords?" Hizashi asks, watching as she nods happily and plays a couple of chords to show her father that she does indeed remember them, "Atta girl, wanna play the song we did last night?"
"Yeah!" Eri cheers, jumping up and down as she grabs her guitar and tunes it with a hum, "I'm ready!"
"Me too! Me too!" (Y/n) says excitedly as she nods toward her father as he sits down in the seat in front of the seat, "I'm ready!"
Hizashi chuckles and grabs his drumsticks with a smile, feeling better than what he did earlier, he hits his drumsticks together before clearing his throat. He gives a quick prelude before the girls begin to play their guitars happily. The three of them giggling and laughing as they play their instruments.
Hizashi didn't need to worry about what people say to him...
As long as he has his girls...
He's fine...

(Y/n) runs her fingers through her hair as she notices her father hunched over the dining table with his head in his hands. The male sighing to himself as he stares at the wood table with nothing on. His eyes watering slightly as he sniffles and tries to reduce the sobs that surface in his throat. His shoulders shaking as he tries not to break into pieces in front of his daughter. A sigh leaving his lips as he leans back against the chair he's sat in and clears his throat.
Unfortunately, both Katsuki and Shoto had a rather heated arguments between each other. Katsuki had been working more than usual and Shoto had had enough of having to wait until two o'clock in the morning to see him. When Shoto finally spoke to him about it, Katsuki blew up and screamed at him for not working enough. I don't think the argument was what made Shoto burst into tears...
It was due to having the argument right where their daughter could hear... something that Shoto refuses to let happen after having watched his parents fight enough times...
(Y/n) sends her father a small reassuring smile before heading into the kitchen and grabbing a packet of soba noodles from the cupboard. The girl knowing that soba always manages to pick his spirits up and hopefully, it could make it seem like she isn't upset about them arguing. After grabbing the noodles, the girl boils the kettle with a small hum. She smiles to herself as she fills another bowl full of ice and water to make it freezing cold so she can cool it as soon as the noodles are cooking properly.
As she's becoming older, Katsuki has taught her how to cook certain meals should she ever be unable to get himself or Shoto. She learnt how to cook soba, do noodles and make soup. The simple stuff. Nothing too complicated. She can't use the oven yet, after all. It's just the microwave and the kettle.
As the water boils, the girl carefully pours some into a bowl and soaks the noodles. A hum leaving her lips as she waits for the noodles to cook while she chops up some spring onions to add to the dish. Her eyes sparkling happily as she quickly checks the noodles and then drains the noodles before putting them in ice cold water. Then she transfers it into the bowl and adds other final touches before she admires her handiwork.
First time doing it without supervision and she has to say... it's pretty good!
Smiling to herself, she heads toward the dining table and slides the bowl toward her father making him sit up and look toward her with a shocked face. (Y/n) walks toward him and kisses his cheek before hugging him tightly and snuggling.
"Don't cry daddy," she says, looking up at him as he sobs gently and pulls her tightly to his chest and rocks her, "Mama can be really scary sometimes,"
"I know... I'm not worried about your mom though," he says, running his fingers through her hair and chuckles gently as she leans into his hand, "I'm upset because we fought in front of you... it's not nice..."
"It's okay, I know you didn't mean to," She says, pulling out the braid in his hair and fiddles with the red and white hair, "Can we go to the living room?"
"Of course we can, my little angel," he coos, kissing her forehead before walking into the living room with his soba and sitting on the floor. The male allowing his daughter to sit on the couch to play with his hair, something that often soothes them both, "Your mom and I love each other, okay? Sometimes we fight but we know we don't mean it,"
"Yeah, you and mama are the best couple ever!" The girl squeals as she brushes her fathers hair and goes to put it in a man bun, "Mama will probably come home with your favourite flowers and chocolates,"
"Yeah, I guess he will. And a little treat for you,"...
"I love you daddy,"...
"I love you too, my little snowdrop,"...

Dabi runs his fingers through his hair in frustration as he slams the door shut making the wall shake with the sheer strength he slammed it. The male close to bursting into flames as he grits his teeth and stalks upstairs, muttering curse words and inaudible words under his breath as he pushes his door open and slams it shut behind him. His anger instantly killing the mood within the hideout.
Each and every villain share a nervous look as they try to figure out what could have been the problem. Tomura was sitting playing video games all day so it couldn't have been him... plus Tomura knows better than to piss off his husband unless he would like to be barbecued. All of them mentally speak to one another as they all try to sort out who should go to him.
And there's no way Tomura would face the beast! Last time he did that he got a huge purple bruise on his hip and a locked door.
Natsuo looks around, hoping and praying no one throws him in the fire pit. He and Fuyumi used to help Toya with his episodes but as Toya has gotten older, his episodes have gotten quite loud. Fuyumi shakes her head as everyone looks toward her before sighing when she sees Shoto walk in just as pissed as his older brother.
"Out, now," Fuyumi instructs, pointing to the door before sending a look to Natsuo who nods and grabs Shoto to lead him out the hideout to calm him down, "(Y/n), why don't you go see daddy?"
(Y/n) nods gently and runs her fingers through her hair as she presses a kiss to her papa's cheek before racing to her dads bedroom. The girl giggling gently as Toga watches her shocked, all the villains surprised the girl wasn't afraid of walking straight into the pits of hell where Dabi is raging. The male growling to himself.
You see, no matter how angry Dabi would get, he could never ever hurt his baby girl. He wouldn't stoop down to the level his father went. He would never hurt his daughter. He can yell at her but that's only when she needs to be scolded... then again, Dabi doesn't usually yell at her because he knows how it hurt him.
At least everyone knew that if she went to talk to him, he would at least calm down.
As she gets to the door, the girl clears her throat and gently knocks. A smile playing on her lips as her father pulls the door open before sending her a weak smile and beckoning her in. She shuts the door and sits up on the bed while her father paces.
"What's wrong, daddy?" She asks, tilting her head as she watches his pace back and forth, "Why are you angry?"
"Your bloody Uncle," Dabi says through an exasperated breath, the male running his fingers through his hair as she listens to him curse under his breath, "Thinking he's better than everyone because he's the bloody golden child! He doesn't have kids! I should be the bloody favourite because I have a child!"
"What did Uncle Sho do?" She asks tilting her head as she watches her father stop in his tracks and look toward him, "Did he hurt you?"
"No sweetie, nothing like that," Dabi says, gently pulling his daughter into his lap and kissing her forehead as she pokes his nose, "Shoto is just being the golden child and thinking it's okay to be a dick and not receive a punch to the face,"
"Is that why he has a black eye?" The girl enquires making Dabi chuckle and nod as he nuzzles his nose against hers, "I'll tell grandpa! He can kick his butt!"
"You really think grandpa will do that if you tell him to?" Dabi asks unconvinced as his daughter fiddles with the collar of his jacket, "Shoto is his favourite child,"
"But I'm his all time favourite because I'm his only grandchild," (Y/n) says matter of factly, giggling as Dabi chuckles and ruffles her hair, "Plus grandpa owes me a favour after I told him about your poster, so he can't say no to me,"
"Why did you tell him about the poster?"...
"Because he wanted to know who your favourite hero was,"...
"You're a little shit aren't you?"...

Sighing gently to himself, Eijiro stares at his reflection. His eyes wandering over his shirtless body, checking his muscles in the mirror as well as his stomach. The male huffing gently as he pokes at his stomach and his shoulders sag sadly. He's been working so hard and he's been saving so many people for the last few weeks. He's been on his game... he's been all over the news for his amazing work!
Then his news conference happened and his happiness and pride went straight down the toilet...
He knows everyone can be a critic and he knows how horrible people can be due to having to reassure Mina that everything is fine and that they're nothing to them. He's always the first one to reassure his girls that they are perfect now matter what people say and no matter how hard they try to put them down. However, when someone commented that he didn't look as buff as what he used to his smile faltered slightly... he couldn't believe someone could be so insensitive as to point out something like that.
And now he couldn't get it out of his head...
The male clears his throat and slides his shirt back on. He looks at his reflection in the mirror and freezes when he sees (Y/n) in the doorway. His eyes widening slightly as he turns toward her. How long had she been standing there? Did she just get there? Oh god...
"Daddy? Are you okay?" The girl asks, looking toward him as he walks toward her and scoops her into his arms, "Whats wrong?"
"Daddy's being silly baby, don't worry," He tells her, stopping as she stares at him with an arch of her brow and an unimpressed sound leaves her lips, "What?"
"You and mama always say that you should tell someone how your feeling," (Y/n) says looking toward Eijiro as he clears his throat and smiles gently up at her, "So tell me what's wrong daddy! I can help!"
"Just some rude people that can't keep their negative opinions to themselves," Eijiro says gently, watching as his daughter frown gently and peppers his face in kisses making him laugh, "Whats all these for, Princess?"
"Because daddy is the best hero ever," She exclaims looking up at him, the male laughing gently, "Can we go to the gym? A workout always makes daddy happy!
"Of course we can, Princess, you know daddy so well," he says ruffling her hair as he lets his daughter races toward their home gym, "Can daddy give you some advice?"
"Yeah," (Y/n) chirps as she grabs the tape from the little mini locker Eijiro has installed and hands it to him for him to wrap around his knuckles and wrists, "What is it?"
"Like school, daddy has some people that feel like they have to point out something negative," He explains, grabbing a hair tie to tie his hair out of his face as well as grabbing a headband for extra measure, "And sometimes daddy can't be the strong shield that he knows he is..."
"That's okay," (Y/n) says looking toward her father as he grabs his weights and begins to do some crunches with a small hum, the girl grabbing her toy weights to copy him, "Uncle Kacchan and Uncle Tama say that even they get beat down too,"
"Really?" Eijiro asks looking at his daughter with wide eyes. He knew how close Tamaki and Bakugo were with his daughter. The pair of them were her favourites other than her own parents, "They deal with meanies too?"
"Mhm! Someone told Uncle Kacchan that he acted too much like a villain," She begins, setting her toy weights down and fiddling with her hair, "And someone said that Uncle Tama wasn't brave enough to be a hero because he's so shy,"
"Oh yeah?" Eijiro asks softly, knowing how much bad press his best friend Katsuki can get due to his rather huge superiority complex, "What did they say to that?"
"Uncle Kacchan told them to kiss his ass and that he's not changing anything about himself just to please cynical people like that," she says, trying to remember the words her Uncle used, "And Uncle Tamaki said that you don't need to please everyone to be the best hero,"
"Maybe that's some advice I need to take, Princess," Eijiro hums, picking her up after he sets his weights down and throwing her in the air, "Who knew you could be so smart?"
"Uncle Kacchan is the best at making people feel better, maybe we could go see him!"...
"Yeah, that sounds good. He's a real softie isn't he?"...
"Yeah!"...

Taking a deep breath, (Y/n) slams her foot onto the ground to produce a crack in the ground. Her hands moving around to try and influence the cracks. Her eyes twinkling with excitement as she realises that she's just managed to do what she's been working on for weeks. Happily, she jumps up and down, clapping her hands with a bright smile as she realises that she can finally do what she's been trying to do for ages. The ground sealing back as her hands touch.
(Y/n) had been working hard with her quirk for a couple months now. She had been trying to get this quirk under control after having an accident with it and making their oven fall into the crack she made in the earth and being unable to retrieve it. She's managed to learn new tricks too!
Her quirk is constantly evolving!
(Y/n) looks up from her quirk training when she hears the doors slam open. A small hum leaving her lips as her father storms into the training hall with his brow furrowed, his teeth gnashing angrily together as he slams the door shut making the lights shake. The blonde inaudible grumbling to himself as he storms over to the middle of the training hall and looks toward his daughter who arches a brow at his behaviour.
This isn't the first time (Y/n) has seen Katsuki in a mood, and it certainly won't be the last time she sees Katsuki as angry as this.
Luckily, she knows instantly how to help her father calm himself down.
Taking a deep breath, the girl kneels down on the ground and lays her hands on the ground. (Y/n) then closes her eyes and frowns gently as the ground begins to shake gently, then by imagining it in her mind, the ground begins to raise up into different heights. Slowly, she pulls away from the ground and looks toward her father who nods toward her before propelling himself into the air.
It's well known that Katsuki doesn't like to tell just anyone about his feelings. Also, he is quite the hands on and practical type of person. So, knowing how her father likes to take her anger out on something, she creates a terrain for him to destroy. Something that she knows he loves to do.
"What's wrong, dad?" (Y/n) asks, sitting on the sidelines as she watches her father punch and explode the levelled ground with a yell, "Is everything okay?"
"You're Uncle Deku! Stupid fucking piece of —" He screams, cutting himself off with a yell as he explodes a huge chunk and create a hole in one of the levels, "Ugh! He's a stupid little worm!"
"You going to tell me what Uncle Deku did?" She asks, setting her hand down to add more levels for her father to destroy with a small hum, "Or shall I leave you to be an angry toddler and just call mama to pick me up?"
"I'll tell you, just give me a minute," he says, slamming his explosions into the levelled ground with another yell, "I need to cool off a bit,"
Understanding her fathers need to let it all out, she stands at the sidelines and watches her dad. The girl adding more levels whenever her father asks and dodging the flying rubble every time it's sent her way. A laugh leaving her lips whenever her father trips on the rubble left around.
After a while, Katsuki takes a deep breath and looks to his daughter to put the ground back to normal. Nodding, she kneels back down and wills the ground to go back to its original state before she pushes to her feet and looks toward her father. The girl walks toward him and wraps her arms around him and snuggles for a cuddle. The male chuckling as he holds her tightly to him.
"What did he do?" She asks looking up at him as he kisses her forehead and rocks them back and forth, "He take down the villain you were fighting?"
"Yeah... and then decided to kick me out the way before I could take him down," The male grumbles making his daughter arch a brow and look toward him, "He stole my arrest, then decided to yell at me for nearly letting them get away when I was literally so close to knocking that fucker down,"
"You sure?" She asks, laughing when her father eyes her before ruffling her hair, "Maybe Uncle Deku wanted to piss you off, you always say he's out to get you,"
"Because he is! The little shit won't leave me alone!"...
"You are literally business partners, daddy,"...
"That's a technicality!"...

A small hum leaves (Y/n)'s lips as she heads downstairs to see what her parents are up to. The girl smiling to herself as she quickly checks up on Athena, Belle and Daisy before skipping toward the living room where she assumed both her parents were. As she turns the corner and goes to go into the living room, the girl halts in her tracks and looks around the room with wide eyes.
What she didn't expect to find was her father sitting on the couch with his head in his hands and her mother no where to be seen. What shocked her the most was that her father was almost set to burst into tears. Something that she never ever imagined her father ever doing...
He was usually so cool and levelheaded, he rarely ever grew upset about anything. The girl knew this had to be something bad or at least worse than usual for it to make her father act this way...
What even happened? Did she miss something?
Clearing her throat gently, (Y/n) walks toward her father and gently taps his leg. The megane turns his attention to his daughter and sends her a weak reassuring smile as he wipes his eyes and clears his own throat. Tenya's eyes still wet from tears as he looks toward his little girl who stares at him with nothing but concern rinsing through them. The male then sighs gently as his daughter turns on her heel and scurries off.
Did he scare her off?...
In the kitchen, (Y/n) opens up one of the cupboards and pulls out a couple of bags of candy. Her tastebuds watering as she grabs bowls and fills them with candy as well as grabbing some chocolate pudding. Once happy with everything, she toddles back in and sets the candy down on the coffee table alongside the chocolate pudding cups. What better way to cheer someone up than giving them junk food?
"Sweetie? What's all this?" Tenya asks looking toward his daughter who sends him a bright smile and grabs the pillows and blankets, "We can't eat that... dinners about to..."
"You're sad, daddy," (Y/n) points out, looking toward her father who chuckles weakly and wipes his eyes with the heel of his palm, "And this is food you eat when your sad! You can't say no to candy and chocolate when you're sad,"
"You have a point, Angel," Tenya hums, not really bothering to worry about the calorie intake or how unhealthy it is to eat that amount of food with such a high sugar content but he couldn't care right now. You can have a cheat day every once in a while, "What are you doing with the pillows and blankets?"
"Building a fort, duh," The girl says as she begins making the foundations of the pillow fort with a small hum, "Does your brain not work when you're sad, daddy?"
"I guess not, Angel," Tenya says softly, sniffling as he watches his daughter build the fort all by herself, "You're a sweet little girl, aren't you?"
"Well yeah, I'm an angel," She says, kissing her fathers cheek as she drapes a blanket over the pillows and cheers when it stays perfect, "Come on daddy!"
After some persuasion from his daughter and a promise of cuddles to make him feel better, Tenya slides into the pillow fort and makes himself comfortable. A smile playing on his lips as his daughter grabs another blanket to drape over him to keep him warm while she brings in the bowls of candy that she made inside her fort. The two of them snuggling up and snacking on junk food while they choose a movie to watch.
"Where's mommy, daddy?" The girl asks after a while making her father bite his lip and sigh to himself, "Has something happens?"
"Your mother and I just had a little disagreement, Angel," Tenya explains, hoping that she doesn't press further so he doesn't have to explain anything, "Sometimes parents have fights, but that doesn't mean we don't love each other okay?"
"That sounds complicated," (Y/n) says looking at her father who chuckles and nods, "Why fight with someone you love?"
"Sometimes you have different options on things, sometimes it'll be due to a mistake the other made," Tenya lists off, smiling as his daughter eagerly listens to his explanation, "They can be small and stupid or they could be big and messy but all in all, you always come back and love one another. Most of the time,"
"Sounds complicated... I don't think I want a boyfriend or a girlfriend,"...
"Life is complicated sweetie, but as long as you're with the right people, it will feel a lot better,"...
"But how do you know they're the right people? They could be big fat meanies for all I know,"...

(Y/n) stands at the doorway of the living room where her papa is sitting on the couch in tears. The girls eyes widening slightly when she sees how distraught her papa actually is, the male sniffling and sobbing to himself as he buries his head in his hands and his shoulders heave with every sorrowful sound that he makes. It's almost heartbreaking to see him like this, all upset and distraught.
(Y/n) didn't hear much but she knew more or less what had happened. Usually as soon as she hears her parents yelling she either dissociates or she grabs her noise cancelling headphones that Shoto invested in for her and just sits on her bed watching videos until she knows the yelling has settled down. Yelling makes (Y/n) incredibly anxious. It makes her head hurt and her stomach twist in ways she never thought it could.
All she knew is that her parents got into a rather heated argument over something she couldn't quite pinpoint. She thinks all she heard was Katsuki yelling about something to do with All Might and Shoto backing him up with an angry yell before she put her headphones on and acted like nothing had happened. She didn't really want to know what the argument was about. The less she knew the better.
(Y/n) isn't really good with emotions as her parents are. Izuku is always there for her to help her out whenever she's distraught but right now, she can't bring herself to move her legs and comfort her papa. She couldn't even tell if she was crying or not as she watches her own papa sob into his hands and sniffle.
What does she do? Does she leave him to sort himself out? Does she give him food? Does she get Snowball?
However, her thought track is interrupted when she gets a random idea. Her eyes light up excitedly before she turns in her feet and patters back toward her bedroom. A new goal in mind as she grabs her sketchbook and her pencils and her colouring pencils before beginning to create a picture that she knows her papa will just fall in love with.
The girl outlines the picture before beginning to define the shapes and make her picture come to life. Her tongue sticking out as she focuses on making this picture as perfect as it can possibly be. A giggle leaving her lips as she shades her picture and makes it amazing.
She knew what could cheer Izuku up no matter what. She knew that her drawings were often something that Izuku always fell in love with and would show off whenever he could. He even had a whole scrapbook dedicated to his daughters masterpieces, hoping that someday they'll become more important somewhere down the line. You never know with these sorts of things.
So the girl decided to draw her papa beating a villain. With a picture for guidance and colours, the girl set off to recreate the picture in her own style. She decided to do the moment where Izuku is standing over the villain ready to cuff them. A powerful picture that she knows her father will love.
After making sure it meets her standards, the girl takes a deep breath and begins making her way back downstairs to the living room where her papa is still sitting there distraught. It's been like two hour and he hasn't moved!
What the hell happened?!
Taking a deep breath, the girl slides the picture into her papas lap and he stares at the picture with wide eyes for a second before taking it all in. A chuckle leaving his lips as he looks at the detail and becomes absolutely breath taken about the whole picture. How could she draw like that?
"You're so sweet," Izuku coos, pulling his daughter in for a hug and kisses her cheek as she snuggles, "Thank you very much, darling,"
"Are you okay?" (Y/n) asks him as she looks toward him. The male smiling weakly as he kisses her forehead and rocks her, "Why were you crying?"
"I just had an argument with Daddy and mama, it'll be okay," Izuku reassures as he watches his little girl looking up at him worried, "Hey, your papa is made of steel! Nothing can bring him down!"
"Are you sure you're okay?" She asks gently, fiddling with his shirt collar as she looks up at him, "Don't lie to me papa,"
"I'm not, sweetie, I'm perfectly happy and now I'm much more happier now that I have you with me!"...
"Yay!"...
"Come on, lets go pin your picture up,"...
