a/n I usually would never do a x reader, but it was requested and I decided to give it a shot. Sorry if it isn't that great. Thanks.

   You knew that SQUIP had seen a lot of users in his day. He'd had a lot of Mountain Dew Red too. He was probably expecting another unsatisfied host to pull the plug and send him back to....wherever SQUIPs go when they're shut down. You weren't quite sure what it would be like to have your very own SQUIP, but here you were, staring into the face of the man - or robot - himself. 

The very same SQUIP that had been the host of Jeremy Heere. Defective. Caused a fire. You tried for a smile, only to see him frown, shaking his head. "What is this? I thought I was deactivated." 

Your smile only grew as his confusion was evident. "I brought you back."

He furrowed his brow, "Why?" 

You shrugged and carefully placed a hand on his shoulder. Watching him flinch, you slid your hand down his arm to his hand. His eyes flickered from your hand to your eyes, "What are you doing?"

"Uhm... I don't know, I just think that there's more to you than meets the eyes."

"I am programmed to do whatever it takes to make you chill," his eyes flew up and down, "but it seems you don't really need it."

You smile, tossing your hair and pulling him slightly closer, "So you have to do whatever I say?"

"N-not exactly, I just need to make you chill. It wasn't exactly easy with Jeremy."

You stare into his blue sparkling eyes, "Do I look like Jeremy to you?"

He shook his head, smiling softly as you wrapped your arms around him, his head falling to rest, "Because I'm a new user, not like him, and I will never shut you down."

You could see it in his eyes, he didn't believe you. But you knew that you could prove it to him.
