"Pedigree."

I came to house so weary
with copious of paperworks
that i found hard to carry

and abruptly a big thing leaps on my lap
with its pretty brown coat
that takes all my exhaustions away when its back, i tap

it woofs so softly when i rub its belly and chin
with its copper brown eyes that are so intense,
licking my face with its tongue that are so thin

then there is my balinese cat that crawls from behind
with its claws that entwined
and behave so properly which is so kind

best friends as it may
but we treat each other more than that way,
i always felt their present more than a real person could
and when they snuggled under my chest, i'd love to reminisce my childhood

If my world turns radical upside down,
they are the one that makes me tough when times are gnarled and rough
so, its safe to say that they're the best pet to be around.
