Chapter 8
Narrator's Point of View
"I don't know what to do, Emilie. It feels like it's my fault and I fear for Adrien's life," Marinette told what happened to Adrien to her ghostly friend, Emilie.
All Emilie could do was to gasp and hold her hands in front of her mouth in shock.
She couldn't even cry to show what was happening inside her heart.
Marinette however, ranted on and on and all she needed was a shoulder to cry on but literally, all her friends were ghosts.
She just told her what happened at the frozen lake and the hospital.
While Marinette told her all this, she was crying and such.
Luckily, nobody was at the library at the time (Other than the librarian but Marinette was at the back of the library) otherwise it would seem like Marinette was talking and crying into a space.
Marinette didn't care, all she could think of were Adrien and Scarlett Moth.
Also, Marinette was thinking of how Adrien's father wasn't even visiting him. Only his personal assistant, Nathalie was there to check his progress.
Her mind was overflowing with worry.
All she was thinking about was Adrien's coma, Scarlett Moth's threat, the fact that she still didn't know how to help Emilie here or Alya at school.
Marinette had faced more drama than any regular teenager her age was facing.
And the cherry on top was when she would be returning to school, there may or may not be a chance that she would have to face Chloé Bourgeois.
She honestly did not know what to do...
