Tsireya
"Kai!" Tsireya dove towards her sisters falling form. She grabbed Kailua's arm and lowered her gently to the ground. "I don't know how to deal with a sky person wound!" Tsireya hissed to herself. "Did it go through?" Kailua groaned softly as Tsireya turned back, having briefly forgotten Lo'ak. "Um... hang on," She removed her older sister's hands and twisted her slightly. Tsireya was suddenly hit with a strong wave of deja vu.
Jake had done this to Neteyam moments ago... and he'd died.
She inhaled and turned back. "Yes." Lo'ak stood up and walked over, peering over her shoulder. "It went through her stomach," Tsireya added. The bullet had gone through her lower left side and come out slightly in the middle of her back. Lo'ak was quiet for a moment. "She should be ok if you can get it shut. There's nothing major there," Tsireya sighed quietly. She pulled out the emergency needle and thread mama had insisted she carry. "As Tsahík, you must be prepared at all times." She'd said. She took a deep breath and brought the needle close when there was a splash.
"Lo'ak!" She cried, dropping the needle onto Kailua's stomach as she ran. "I'm going to help the others!" He shouted. "I can't lose anyone else,"
Tsireya frowned in sympathy. The Sully's had lost so much in the last two years.... so much. They'd lost their home, their friends, their peace, their family... She watched as his form grew smaller and smaller before disappearing completely in the waves. She shut her eyes in prayer.
Great mother, please grant him safe journey...
She turned back to Kailua, shaking her head. "Hey," Lua mumbled. "Hi," Tsireya sighed. "I'll be ok... you know that?" Tsireya snorted. "You're injured and you're still comforting me," She picked up the needle. "It's what big sisters do," Tsireya grasped Kailua's outstretched hand tightly. "Which you'll know about soon enough," Tsireya nodded her head and readied the needle. "Are you ready? This is going to hurt," She warned. Kailua shifted on the rock, giving Tsireya easier access to her side. "Stitch the back first. Than the front. Blood flows with gravity." She said.
Tsireya pressed the needle into her skin and began threading.

It wasn't great, and the stitching was awfully untidy. But it'll keep Lua from bleeding to death before they could get home. She'd long passed out, from bloodless or pain Tsireya didn't know... neither did she want to. The fact her big sister was seriously injured was enough. She'd scrubbed her hands raw in the sea, desperately trying to rid the blood out the creases and cracks of her skin. At some point, her own hands had begun to bleed with the force, so she stopped.
She sat there, watching as the demon ship burned and sunk in the distance. Her traumatised mind wondered how many more Sully's had died in that time. Maybe the great mother was cruel enough to kill little Tuk. At least she'd be in a war free place, and be with her brother...who Tsireya had busied herself with.
She was distant in her mind for a period, working on autopilot. She cleaned Neteyam's chest of the blood and used some spare stitching she had to sew up his wounds, much like she had Kailua's. When she pulled back, Tsireya wiped her wet eyes. She reached forwards with shaky hands and gently pulled his eyelids down, shutting his eyes forevermore.
Much later, after Kiri had helped her carry Kailua's body back to the clan, she found herself sitting with Lo'ak outside the healing ship that had arrived. Neither spoke, they just sat there. To be honest, Tsireya was just happy to have company who wasn't interested in talking. She couldn't bare to go into the healing ship... couldn't bare to see her sister fight death. After a while, just before the sun had begun to set, she heard Lo'ak clear his throat. She turned, waiting for him to speak. "I'm sorry," He mumbled. Tsireya frowned deeply. "I'm sorry?" She repeated. "If... If I hadn't gone back for Spider..." Tsireya slapped his hand. "Don't be silly, Lo'ak," She briefly flicked her gaze to the sea.
The sea gives and the sea takes.
That was a mantra the clan fell on whenever something went wrong. It would appear in these instances, the sea gave Payakan but took Neteyam. "You were rescuing your brother. I would have done the same if it were Ao'nung," She said. Lo'ak continued to stare out towards the horizon. "All I do is hurt people," Tsireya sighed softly. "No, you don't," She hesitated briefly before putting her hand on his knee. "This is grief talking. You did the right thing by going back for your brother," Lo'ak didn't say anything else.
Neither did she.

3rd POV
Ronal anxiously stroked her daughters head. Her mate, Tonowari, paced anxiously. "Do you think the children are ok?" She asked softly, softer than she'd address him in a long while. He stopped pacing momentarily. "Perhaps I will check on them while we wait." He left quickly, glancing back over his shoulder. Her daughter, Tsireya, would be fine. She was a fine, capable young woman. If it wasn't for her, Ronal would be in a very different setting, not to dissimilar to the Sully's the night previous.
This was not the way.
The way was to pray and heal the injured as best as they could. Not... have dream walkers invade the clan and barge the age old methods out of the way! She did not like it; the healing ship. There were far too many... non na'vi walking around, and it unnerved her. Jake Sully better be right in his faith in this... dream walker.
As she thought, the dream walker in question knocked on the wall. Ronal gestured him in with a concealed sigh. "Well? Dawn? Will my daughter be ok?" She barked. The dream walker hesitated briefly. "It's Norm," He continued walking in, tapping metal blocks as he moved. "Where is the chief?" He asked. Ronal narrowed her eyes slightly. "Attending other matters." Norm shifted in his seat, sighing. "Well... we managed to remove most the debris left by the bullet," He said. Ronal frowned. "Most?" Norm nodded. "Yeah. The debris left isn't harmful and will most likely, if it hasn't already, be dissolved into her body and pass as urine. We tried to keep the surgery as minimally invasive as possible," Ronal went back to stroking Kailua's head.
"I sense there is a but coming," She said. Norm sighed. "Yeah," He shifted again. "Because of the path the bullet took... we might be looking at longer term issues outside of the normal ones," Ronal raised a brow. "Such as? You forget, Norm, we do not have bullets, and as such, we do not know what the normal issues following one would be," Norm cast a sudden look over her shoulder. The relief in his face was obvious. Ronal turned. "Jake Sully," She said evenly. "Ronal," The man greeted, walking in. Ronal bowed her head. "He means she might be paralysed. The bullet fucked up some of her spine." Ronal looked in between the two men. "Paralysed? What is that?"
Norm cleared his throat. "Paralysation is the loss or impairment of voluntary muscular movement caused by structural abnormalities of nervous or muscular tissue or by metabolic disturbances in neuromuscular function," Ronal blinked. "What?" She snapped. "It's where she can't move," Jake said quietly. "But that's worst case scenario," Norm added quickly. "There's around an eighty-four percent chance that she won't be paralysed," Ronal nodded slowly. "But it'll only be her legs, if that is the case. She will still be able to use her arms and stomach and everything above her waist,"
Norm glanced at Jake quickly and nodded to the door. "Tsahik," He bade goodbye. "That poor man," She said aloud. Norm nodded. "Yeah. Kid was way too young," They took a moment of silence to mourn the loss of the eldest Sully child. "There was also something else," Ronal nodded. "When Kailua was brought to us, she was bleeding. From more than one place." Ronal stared. "What of it? Na'vi women do have cycles," Norm shook his head. "No. What I'm saying is-" He inhaled sharply. "The bullet went in here," He pointed to a picture of a na'vi woman. "And then it moved slightly further up, by maybe 3 inches, possibly 4, where it existed between L4 and L5." He circled two bones on the picture.
"On its way out, it chipped these two bones. Usually, to cause paralysis, it'd need to destroy them. That's why we're unsure what will happen to her," Ronal nodded as she gestured to the picture. "You said there was another thing?" Norm's entire personality seemed to change. He rang his hands nervously. "Well... we found the source of the extra bleeding... and it wasn't from the wound," Ronal blinked expectantly. "Kailua-She," Norm sighed. "Unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage. The bullet went though her uterus and she lost the baby,"
