Namjoon

I walked into the hotel, blushing hard. What the hell did I just blurt out? She must have thought I was flirting with her. Nevertheless, she didn't stop talking or make the situation awkward. She just let out a giggle and diverted to some other topic.

"What the hell are you doing without sleeping till now?", I heard Yoongi hyung's voice. I guess he is speaking on the phone. Jin hyung was chuckling looking at Yoongi hyung. I understood the situation now.

"See, you are having an exam tomorrow, I understand. But sleep is more important than anything. What if you sleep in the middle of the exam tomorrow?", he spoke and I smiled, bumping my fists with Jin hyung.

"I know, I know. Listen to me now. Close your books for now and go to sleep. You should take of yourself also okay? Don't whine like a pig now", he spoke and then hung the call with a wide smile. 

"Why are you so nosy in her works? You don't have feelings for her right?", Jin hyung nudged his shoulder, winking at me and I chuckled. He will never agree that he is having feelings for her but does all the things which clearly show that he is whipped for her.

"Didn't we talk about this before? I care about her, that's all. There is nothing above that. I can't love someone again", he spoke and we nodded, not trying to make the mood serious. We don't want a wailing Yoongi hyung. It's 2 PM here, I think it's around 3 AM over there. Perhaps that's the reason he is scolding her to take care of herself.

"Well, how was your date with Kate then?", Hobi hyung asked popping out of nowhere and I smiled.

"It's not a date", I told but my cheeks told them otherwise. Ugh! Why can't I control myself from blushing thinking about her? Hyungs cooed at me and I covered my face in embarrassment. Could I just bury my face in a rathole?

"Is that why you dropped out of the car telling us that you have some urgent work? How come you not remember the important work until you saw her?", Yoongi hyung teased and I just looked away. The maknae are far better than these people.

"Anyways, leave about that. I am going along with the maknae line to the Grand Central Terminal and goof around the city tomorrow, will you join us?", Jin hyung asked and I thought for a second. Tomorrow is a day off for us. 

Will Kate be free tomorrow?

"What about these two?", I asked about Yoongi hyung and Hobi hyung.

"They want to do some shopping for their girlfriends", Jin hyung stated nonchalantly and Hobi hyung smiled while Yoongi hyung shot a glare.

"She is not my girlfriend", he declared and stomped his feet to his room. We all laughed out.

"He will just go and sleep, I bet. He is just pretending to be mad", Hobi hyung stated as a matter of fact and we agreed.

"What will you do tomorrow?", they asked and I smiled.

"I have a place to visit"

I looked at the label and smiled. After that day, I feel like visiting this place again. The kids look so happy and it makes my heart at peace. Moreover, it reminds me of her. It was the start of our friendship. 

When she cried her heart out in my arms, remembering her dad, I felt so happy that she trusted me. She opened up about her late father which is not anything small. And I guess, that's when my heart started beating for her. 

"Namjoon", I looked around to see the person calling. Did someone recognize me? Shit.

"Hey", I was startled at the voice.

"Alex", I sighed in relief looking at his figure. I was so scared for a second if someone had followed me. The manager warned us for the umpteenth time to not get caught and be careful since he is letting us free.

"Yo Man! What are you doing here? Did Kate call you along too?", he asked and I wondered if Kate was here too. 

"Kate? Is she here?", I asked and he smiled pointing in a direction. She is running around and kids were behind her, trying to catch her. It was a beautiful sight to see and my lips automatically curved up. 

She is one of a kind

"So, she didn't call you. It must be a coincidence then. Since you are here, just tag along with us today. I don't think you would like to miss the fun of seeing Kate losing to kids in running", he winked at me and held my hand, dragging me towards her. Only if he knows, that he doesn't need to that. 

My heart was already dragging me towards her

"Joon", she exclaimed upon seeing him and walked to him.

"Alex, Kate lost to me. She always loses against me", a girl chirped and Alex petted her hair. 

"She needs to be fit to run faster than you. Kate is fatty right?", he joked and the children giggled. Kate looked at their endearing smiles and beamed while I did the same, looking at
her. 

"Perhaps, you can beat her on the track, but not on the runway", I spoke defending her and we bumped our fists.

"This is what friends are for, unlike you Mr. Dumbass", she snaked her arm around my shoulder and let out a proud smile while Alex scowled. I took deep breaths, trying to stay as calm as possible though her touch is causing butterflies in my stomach. 

"Alex, you have me. She's got a new friend, I guess", the same girl spoke and we chuckled at that. They must be really close with them.

"I know. You are my only friend, Rachel", he pouted and Kate left my shoulders, pinching her cheeks. 

"Alex is spoiling you so much.", she spoke and the girl rubbed her cheeks which became cherry red. Alex lifted the girl on his back and she smiled. She waved us bye and he took her for a piggy ride.

"Aren't you having your day off?", she asked and I wondered how she knows. And then, it hit me. They are helping Miss Stella and Mr. Andrew who have our schedules. She must have known about us through them.

"Well! I wanted to bring you here someday since Evelyn was asking for you", she mouthed and I looked at her in surprise. 

Does that little girl remember me?

"She wants to meet the uncle who got her ice cream. She wasn't willing to stay for the first four days but she's got a new friend. And when I met her, she asked about you", she spoke and I am now eager to meet that little girl. I am not so used to the kids but now, I am loving their presence. Especially when they are all happy together.

"Ice Cream Uncle", she exclaimed running to me and I felt overwhelmed seeing her so elated upon seeing me. I lifted her and Kate ruffled her hair. She looks better now.

"Kate told me she will bring you", she spoke smiling and I nodded.

"She kept her promise", I told and tickled her. She let out soft giggles making my heart leap in joy. Taehyung would be so angry if I tell him that I came here. The last time I mentioned about the orphanage, he uttered a million times to bring him along but that didn't hit my head yesterday. I am sorry, Taehyung.

We played for some time and she introduced her new friend.  We played hide and seek, seven stones and some games which I don't even know existed. I mentally promised myself to mention these games to the BTS Run Staff.

"Will you come again?", she asked looking at me with her puppy eyes and I nodded. I would love to visit this place again. I kissed her forehead and put her down. 

"Promise", she showed her pinky finger and I entwined mine.

"Promise", I promised myself to get something for this little girl. 

"How can I donate?", I asked Kate as I walked out while Alex is booking a cab for us. Alex wanted me to visit his house since he has something to show me and I gave my word. Kate nearly killed Alex for doing that. She requested many times to decline the offer but I gave my word already and didn't want to be in the bad books of Alex. He is an important person in her life, though I don't really know what they are to each other.

"Do you want to donate? Wow. You could just come here and drop a cheque or you could give a call to this number and they would detail you the procedure", she spoke and gave me the number. Shit! I should have asked for her number too. 

"I would donate in the name of BTS. I will bring them next time. And if there is a chance, we would love to entertain the kids with a small performance too", I spoke as that thought was running in my mind since the time Evelyn danced to our beats. She loved our songs and that's the greatest part.

"Oh My God! It would be our pleasure to have you guys performing. Why would not leave the chance one in a million?", she spoke and I smiled cheekily. I will talk to the members later about this.

"Namjoon, you will love my pets in the house", Alex spoke as we got into the cab and Kate shot a glare from the front. 

"They are monsters Joon. I don't think you would like them, trust me", she spoke and I am wondering what they might be. Is Kate scared of dogs? Cats? 

"Don't call them monsters again", he scoffed at her.

"Had Joon not been here, I would not be stepping into your house", she spat at him crossing her arms across her chest. Is he growing snakes or alligators? They can't be tamed, right?

We reached the house and Alex rushed to open the door. He bowed and let out a warm smile.

"Alex welcomes The Great RM to his small palace", he spoke in a British Accent and I chuckled entering his house. 

"And here we go, with the best creatures of this world. My darlings, my cutie-pies, my loves", he showed the glass boxes and I looked at them. I widened my eyes and turned to them. Kate looked at Alex and smirked. Alex looked quite disappointed and I smiled.

"Alex, you are my bro", I exclaimed and Kate looked at me shocked.
