|| Continuation from the previous chapter

Before I could say anything a voice came out of nowhere, "hey, can I sit here?"

Me and Arty looked over and see who it is and it's Dick Grayson himself. You know, I thought he'd go and have recess with his friends or that one girl he always hangs out with but I'd never thought he wants to have recess with us. Since ya know, he's a high class person, and me and Arty are just average.

I was about to shove the sandwich I had in my mouth but I paused looking at the boy who lend me his home a few days ago.

I was in awe for a few seconds if it wasn't for Arty who snapped me out of it. I blushed and shove the whole inside my mouth and chew it so I wouldn't have to answer his questions. When I say chew, I chew it slowly cause im a slow eater haha.

He still looked at me when I was eating and minding my own business while Arty do the talking. "Sure, you can sit beside Camile." I widened my eyes and dart my eyes straight towards her, glaring daggers at her while im at it.

'Arty why you do this to me'

I mentally groaned and screamed when I felt contact with a piece of clothing beside my leg. Well, at least he keep his distance for me to eat comfortably. I shrugged it off mentally and continue eating peacefully.

After a few awkward but a bit of tension of silence. I couldnt handle it anymore, I speak up, "Didn't you have a friend who you always hangs out with? Where is she? She's absent?"

He looked surprised, "Oh, you mean Barbara? Yeah she's absent today. Got some stuff to do." I nodded, getting the answer.

I saw from the corner from my eye, Arty was judging me silently of our conversation. That girl is gonna get it from me.

As if she knows what was I saying, she gets up and leave before letting me know to meet her at the next lesson in class.

"So it's just us huh?" I sweat dropped. I turned around to see him already looking at me. I jerked my face away from him immediately and moved seat to his opposite.

I covered my face with my hands in embarrassment then peeked one eye open to see if he's still looking me and unfortunately, he's still looking at me.

This is creeping me out. With the heat on my cheeks? No thanks ma'am. Not today and not in front of him. "Okay what is it? Is there something on my face?"

He then finally said, "Can you be in my team in the next PE class?"

I looked at him as if he was for real. He doesnt look like he was gonna ask me that. I know he's gonna ask me something else. It's just not the right time, or place.

"umm sure, can Arty join too?" I was eager to hear the answer cause there's no way im leaving her behind. She wouldn't like it and I'd feel bad + guilty if I did.

He nodded as approval and I gasped as in Im delighted to hear the news. "Thank you!" I smiled at him while cupping my hands together as if im squealing. "but for what though? Does the teacher has something in store for us or..?"

Suddenly, the mischief flint in his eyes are gone amd changed into another. He smirked and gets up from the table, walked over to me and whisper in my ear with his other hand covering it. "Consider yourself lucky that you're in my team."

I shuddered at his breath beside my ear. It wasn't a pleasant feeling, but I like it.

I narrowed my eyes at him annoyance and crossed my arms. "You still haven't answer my question, Dick."

He just shrugged and walked away. He's back to his usual self now.

From what I know, that wasn't the usual mischief Dick I used to recognise.

It was a whole another person took over him and it has a familiar feeling too. I just couldn't put my finger on it.

"She should be back by now." Tony said, getting angry amd impatient at the young girl who still hasn't come back from school.

It was currently the afternoon and the school just dismissed. It's clear that Tony still doesn't get the human world.

The wooden door opened and it revealed the girl herself; Camile. She frowned at Tony who's having a temper at the moment.

"School just dismissed, You don't have to be mad or pissed about it Tony." She sighed. She walked into her room and placed her bag beside the stool of her studying table.

She flopped on the bed and groaned in exhaustion and started to squirm around the cozy bed since it's very soft and quite cold for her liking. Rolled around while she's at it wrapping herself in a blanket and close her eyes. Sleep took over her.

Meanwhile Tony:

"So you're gonna do it today?" He asked the holographic woman beside him.

"It's for the best Edgar. She has to know amd it was her age Melissa got her powers." She spoke confidently laced with a stern tone.

Tony sighed in defeat thinking he ha sno choice other than to accept it. "Okay. Do what you must. but if anything gets out of hand, I'll take over."

They both had a staring contest for a few seconds. Then she spoke, " Alright. Then it's settled." The woman nodded in approval. Suddenly the holographic woman disappears and Tony sighs in worry.

" I hope you know what you're doing, Leana."
