So people keep asking me if I'm gay or bi whenever I reveal that I support the LGBT community

No I'm neither I am very much straight.

Honestly I've never been given the chance to explore what my sexuality was because I was always told my my sadistic mother that i shouldn't like girls, but she wouldn't let me talk to boys until i was 18

Make sense? Of course it doesn't.

That didn't stop me from dating anyway..

I've been with my boyfriend for almost 8 years now and I don't plan to be with anyone else so i guess that will always remain a mystery. So I will classify myself as straight.

Dont make the same mistake I did and let ppl dictate who you are and who you should be, what you like is your choice and its not anyone else's right to tell you otherwise.
