17: I love you.

Jisung got startled as he felt arms wrapping around his waist snapping him from his thoughts. He relaxed as he leaned back to the body clinging to him.

"Why are you being so clingy?" Jisung chuckled, patting Minho's arms slowly while he tilted his head to the side leaving Minho some space to snuggle close to his neck.

"Nervous," He mumbled, snuggling close to Jisung's neck. The younger one tapped on Minho's hand and caressed it softly.

"Why? It's not your first time though." Jisung said, turning around and wrapping his arms around Minho's neck still in his entrance. Minho looked up and sighed.

"I still feel like it's my first time even though I have been in this situation for years." Jisung smiled and left a peck on the older's lips making him smile.

"Don't worry, you are doing well." He whispered with a smile.

"Ahem." The soulmates got startled and looked at the door to see Samantha smirking and wiggling her eyebrows as the data meowed seeing his parents.

"What were you guys doing?" She asked with a teasing tone.

"Kissing each other. Got problems there?" Minho mocked earning a punch from a blushing Jisung and a pout from Samantha.

"You are so mean, Minho," Samantha exclaimed, earning a chuckle from the couple.

"Where is my nephew?" Minho asked with raised eyebrows as he broke the hug from Jisung but still held him by his waist.

Samantha pouted more, " Why aren't you asking about my well-being? I was the one who gave birth to your nephew, mind you." Minho rolled his eyes as he felt Jisung pulling away from him.

"Aww, don't say that Sam. You are important to us too." Jisung said as he ruffled her hair.

"Only you love me, Oppa." She said as she placed the cats over the floor, letting them go and showed a tongue at the annoyed Minho.

"You call him Oppa lovingly, but you always called me Oppa for saying complaints. So you deserve this." Minho said, childishly showing his tongue, and making Samantha whine.

"Okay, both of you I am leaving. You guys can continue the fight however you both want." Said Jisung as he left the room with the cats.

Samantha turned her head at Minho and smirked.

"Should I tell him?" She asked, crossing her arms, her smirk widening wide.

"Tell what?" He asked, tilting his head, confused. Samantha giggled.

"Tell him that you are going to propose..." Minho immediately placed his hand over her mouth, shushing her.

"You little devil!" Minho hissed watching her wiggle her eyebrows.

"I heard that." They look up to see a grinning Chan, leaning against the door.

Samantha wiggled out of Minho's hand and joined Chan as they both looked at Minho with grinning faces making the elder mentally facepalm.

"Wow!" Jisung exclaimed while watching the party.

He has attended many parties before but they were all for cheering models or if the company obtained a favourable contract.

This was his first time seeing a party where movie stars, singers, and directors are present.

He felt Minho's arms wrapping around his waist making him look up. They got intercepted as some directors and other people he doesn't know started greeting them both.

Minho started talking non-stop while Jisung looked bored as it had been almost a year since he attended any party, so it was making him feel bored with the unfamiliar atmosphere.

After some time Minho noticed Jisung's behaviour and excused himself.

"Baby, what happened?" Minho asked, worriedly watching Jisung being silent.

"I feel a bit out of place. It's been almost a year since I attended a party so I'm feeling a bit bored." Jisung replied honestly, but he was still feeling guilty since this occasion was really important for Minho.

Minho smiled and patted his head "Should we go out?" Jisung's eyes widened at the question.

"Minho! What are you saying? Go out? ! This event is for you, you are the main guest. This is important to you," Minho placed a finger over Jisung's lips which made him stop talking.

"You are more important to me, Jisung." The younger gulped, seeing the older's intense gaze, and he looked away.

"But still,"

"Don't worry, my secretary is here anyways," Minho exclaimed,

"Wait here okay?" Minho declared, leaving Jisung behind. After a few minutes, he came back, clasping the younger's hand.

"Let's go, shall we?" Jisung nodded with a smile as they both left the party.

Meanwhile, Hyunjin, Felix and Changbin giggled looking at the soulmates.

"Damn, Minho is so cunning. His plan is going smooth."

"I know right." Changbin giggled.

"I'm happy for him," They glanced at Felix.

"Minho and Jisung, both deserve happiness, and today will be the most memorable day for them." Everyone nodded, smiling, and continued enjoying the party.

"Wow, it's so beautiful here." Jisung said in awe as he leaned against the railing, watching the sea above Minho's villa which he came to know now.

Minho glanced at the latter, affectionately." It's been years since I have been here." Jisung glanced at him.

Minho sighed," After my family's death I completely abandoned this place since it felt so lonely here." He then peeked at Jisung and smiled,

"But now I have you with me." Jisung smiled as he hugged the older tightly.

Suddenly fireworks started booming on the cloud which made Jisung startled. He glanced up and watched the sky in awe as he broke from the hug.

"Jisung," He turned around and gasped, tears threatening to come out, watching Minho kneeling on the ground with one knee.

"Jisung, I'm not good when it comes to expressing my emotions through words." Minho took a deep breath, grabbing Jisung's hands in his," Will you be mine?"

Jisung nodded as a sob broke out from his mouth. Minho chuckled, his own eyes shedding tears as he got up and put the ring over Jisung's ring finger, and pulled him into a hug.

"Thank you, Jisung." Jisung pulled away and frowned. "Don't say thank you. That's unnecessary." Minho giggled as he placed Jisung's arms around his waist.

"I love you," Minho mumbled as he kissed Jisung's nose, making him smile.

"I love you too,"

This scene was something I wouldn't have even dared to dream of. Jisung thought as he hugged Minho closely, watching the fireworks together.
