BR 14
14: Alone time.
Jisung hugged Minho closely, glimpsing up at the sky which was sprinkled with trillions of twinkling stars. A smile spread on his face when he stared up at the moon.
After the satisfaction he felt throughout the ride he wished about, he felt exhausted which resulted in him sitting back and Minho slowing the pace.
Now they can see streetlights on the road and it blends with the darkness of the night beautifully.
Minho glanced at the mirror, "How was it, Han?"
Jisung stared back at him and smiled widely. "I enjoyed it so much!" Jisung exclaimed, hugging him tightly, giggling.
Minho's eyes softened when he saw Jisung's face glowing and eyes sparkling with the moon's reflection, his face emitting happiness.
Still, nothing existed in this world to reach your level of beauty. Minho thought about Jisung and stared at the mirror one more time before glancing at the road.
He sped up a bit and went with the flow, often glancing up at Jisung who was slowly closing his eyes.
The younger suddenly shrieked when Minho started to move in a zig-zag, causing him to hold the older's shoulder tightly.
"Hyung!" The older laughed loudly in response and stopped disturbing the younger who clutched onto him even more.
He is so cute! Minho thought.
They passed the lonely path and are now surrounded by a sea area and the loud sound of the sea and breeze made the atmosphere adventurous.
They stopped near a 24/7 small bistro, making Jisung look at Minho in confusion and Minho slightly looked back and pointed at the restaurant with his chin.
"But Hyung, I'm not hungry." Jisung mumbled watching Minho taking off his helmet, "Besides there might be some paparazzi here."
"That's okay, let them do their part of the job. While we can order some soup. It's better to drink something during this hour." Jisung thought for a bit and sighed, nodding.
Jisung removed himself from the bike, watching Minho parking and getting out of the bike. When Minho turned around his face furrowed in confusion in seeing Jisung still wearing the helmet.
"Why are you still wearing it?" Minho asked, unclipping the helmet, but Jisung didn't let him move it.
"I don't want anyone to see my face." Jisung said, holding the helmet on his head, "It's better to stay here." He exclaimed looking down.
Minho didn't say anything, instead, he grabbed the helmet and forcefully removed it from Jisung's head making him gasp.
"Hyung!" Minho placed the helmet over the bike and grabbed Jisung's hand without a word but Jisung didn't budge.
"I told you I don't want to go now."
"Until when?" Jisung flinched at the tone Minho used, it wasn't harsh yet it wasn't soft either.
"I don't know." Jisung mumbled looking at the bistro, "I don't know."
"Jisung," Minho said softly, grabbing Jisung's face in their hands, when he noticed the younger's sad tone," Look at me," Jisung looked at Minho and burst into silent tears.
Minho hugged him. " Jisung, I know you are trying to avoid people from seeing you, but trust me, it's now or never. You can't expect everyone to be good with your change, just embrace the positive one and ignore the negatives." Minho said pulling away,
"You have to face all types of people, Jisung. Not everyone is judgmental."
Jisung examined Minho for a few minutes.
"What if it becomes too hard for me to handle?"
"If something like that happens let's face it together, okay?" Minho expressed sincerely, making the younger one agree even though he didn't feel good about the argument.
He was doing this hide-and-seek game for the person in front of him.
They both took a seat at the place provided to eat the food. Minho looked at the whiteboard where the menu was written while Jisung peeked down trying to avoid anyone noticing his face.
Minho saw this but didn't say anything instead he waited.
A young-looking man came to their table and asked with a smile," What do you want, Sir?" Minho placed his orders, occasionally glancing at Jisung, who seemed a bit nervous.
Jisung waited for Minho to say Jisung's order but instead of that, the latter didn't place Jisung's order.
"Is that all you need, Sir?" Thsrn glanced over at Jisung who shook his head.
"Jisung, what do you want? The waiter turned towards Jisung who closed his eyes, already thinking the worst.
"Sir, your order?" The younger one didn't look up, feeling anxious about what the waiter would think once he looked up.
The waiter looked at Minho helplessly when Jisung didn't respond for another minute.
"Jisung, place your order," Jisung licked his lips, feeling anxious about the upcoming consequences. One part told him nothing wrong was going to happen while the other part told him he couldn't do it.
It's okay, Jisung. It's for a few seconds. Just place your order and ignore their expression.
Taking a deep breath he looked at the waiter while raising his head, and started placing his order.
He watched the waiter's eyes widen in surprise for a few seconds and his instinct told him to shut his eyes, but he didn't.
Instead, he faced the latter, but what surprised him was that the waiter smiled at him and noted down the order.
"Okay! Your order will be ready within 25 minutes, till then enjoy the scenery!" The young waiter left the place leaving the soulmate in silence.
Jisung glanced blankly at the table, his mind whirling around the thoughts he had before.
After the accident, he never tried to get along with people he didn't know because he was scared to be judged and he couldn't withstand the nasty stares people gave him after seeing his condition.
However today, he did something which was never in a million he would be able to do. He faced someone he didn't know.
Even though his instinct kicked in he still did it.
Minho observed Jisung's face changing from blankly staring at the table to looking up at the shop with a surprised look and then he looked at the older with happiness written all over his face.
"Hyung, I did it…" Jisung mumbled, his voice breaking at the end, feeling overwhelmed.
Minho smiled, taking the younger's hands in his, "Yes, uou are doing good." Jisung looked at their hands, his heartbeat fastening again for the man in front of him.
He took his hand away from Minho's grip and looked at the sea with a thinking face.
"I wanna go there," Jisung exclaimed, not looking at the slightly disappointed Minho who felt a bit sad about Jisung's action but he still accepted it.
"Okay let's go there,"
"I wanna go alone," Minho didn't respond, making Jisung look at the older. "Can't I, Hyung?"
"Of course, you can. It's your decision. I will call you when the order is here." Jisung nodded at Minho's exclamation and stood up.
"Okay," He said, walking away from the bistro. He kept walking until his foot felt the sand, when his face felt the breeze, and when his ears heard the music of the sea.
He closed his eyes, feeling his inner soul relaxing in the calming atmosphere.
He wanted his alone time.
