It's been a bit over a year since Ruby's funeral. Things have changed a lot since the incident but all good changes.

I sadly had to get rid of my farm with all my pets except for my dog and bird. Because I moved back to Canada to be near family and friends.

I also just adopted a second child, Vincent... and he's just under a year old. He's work but adorable.

And tonight I have my first date with Hosuh! He's been so helpful and supportive of me And I couldn't ask for someone better to love. He hasn't forced our relationship at all, though has offered some dates every once in a while.

"Earth to (y/n). Are you there?" Hosuh snaps in my face. We are eating pizza at a make your own pizza place.

"Yeah? Sorry I just zoned out... what did you say?" I laugh blushing slightly embarrassed.

"I asked how your pizza is." He smiles.

"Oh it's good! Maybe could have used less (topping) and more (topping) but I can't complain much." I take a sip of my drink.

"Good. I'm glad you enjoy are enjoying it." He smiles and we then leave after finishing. We go to my truck and set in the bed of it, where we put pillows and blankets from the backseat.

"Thanks for tonight, it was worth the wait." I yawn lying my head on his shoulder.

"It definitely was. And I would love to make it a regular thing if you'd... be my partner?" He whispers taking my hand in his.

"Id love to. Because I love you Hosuh!" I look up at him and smile, he beams back at me and kisses all over my face like a puppy.

"I truly love you (y/n) and I forever will."
