"You gave us quite the scare." Peter jested, lounging in the seat beside the infirmary bed. "Thor screamed like a girl when he saw you. Then you collapsed, and that was when all hell broke loose."

Tori laughed with her gravelly voice, "I'm sorry."

Peter's sad smile reflected his eyes as he rubbed her arm. "Why did you go to the party?" Tori frowned and casted her eyes away in shame.

"I promised my new neighbors to socialize. They got drunk and I decided to leave before something else happened. That's when...." Tori stopped, her eyes watering as she wrapped her arms around her, sinking further into the bed. She inhaled, sniffling. "He was Sokovian," she clarified before whiping her tears. "He wanted revenge."

"Why didn't you fight back?" Peter blurted out. "You could've kicked his ass!"

"He had lost his son." she bit back. "I wasn't going to beat him up because he was trying to avenge his son."

"That's no excuse." Peter said, before looking away as tears welled up in his eyes. "You could've died if Mr. Stark didn't find you."

Their eyes turned to Tony and Pietro as they walked in yelling at each other. Neither one noticed Tori and Peter watching them, while they continued yelling about the night of Tori's attack. "Why the fuck were you not with her then?" Pietro screeched.

"Because she went to a fucking party I didn't know about!" Tony yelled back. Tori coughed, catching the attention of the two. In a blink of an eye Tony was at her side. "Are you okay? Are you sick?!"

Peter scoffed. Tony sent him a playful glare and he mumbled a sorry, averting his gaze. Pietro zoomed in behind Tony, "Are you okay, princessa?" he asked, his eyes shinning with worry.

"I'm fine." Tori emphasized. "I've seen better days."

Peter chuckled besides Tori before standing up. "I'm going to leave before the storm picks up, if you know what I mean." Peter grinned towards Tori before walking out.

Tori shook her head, a small smile appearing on her lips as she looked to the other two with her. "What's going on between the two of you? Why are you fighting?"

Pietro frowned and pressed his soft lips to her head, "Don't worry, princessa." Tony's chest rumbled with jealousy as the two men waltzed out of the room.

"So, apparently Tony is holding another party, but he said it was a surprise." Nat, Wanda and Tori had recently just been shopping, and after the two females finally explained the reason behind it, it left Tori even more confused.

"And the only people who know the reason behind it include Tony, Peter, Rhodes and Bruce." Nat flicked her hair, her red locks flinging out of her face.

Tori nodded, clearly confused to why Tony would hold a party and not tell her why. Maybe he was sick of being friends with her? No, he wouldn't be. "Oh." was the only thing she said as they walked into the parking lot.

The three piled into the car and threw their bags into the back. After Tori settled into her seat she connected her phone to the Bluetooth. Wanda sighed, "Oh boy." She hit the play button and the music blasted right away.

"YMCA is the best song to get us in the mood!" Nat cranked up the music to the max.

"YOUNG MAN! THERE'S NO NEED TO FEEL DOWN!"

The trio belted out the lyrics as they drove downtown, dancing whenever they got the chance. They pulled up at the tower, bounding out of the car like animals out of cages. Tori departed into her room, bidding her friends goodbye as they walked towards the living room without another word.

Tori hadn't seen anyone for the rest of the afternoon. After she exited her room it was as if everyone disappeared. Of course, she was confused as heck and wanted to know why she was probably the only one in the tower.

The girl wandered down the hall towards the kitchen. As she plodded along she began to hear hushed whispers and loud bangs. She furrowed her brows but continued her quest to the living room, which was the only way to get to the well deserved food.

She pushed the doors open with a loud creak and widened her eyes at the darkened room. She reached over to turn on the light...

"SURPRISE!!"

Tori jumped back, her eyes the size of sauce pans while her hands clung to her chest. She could feel her heart beating fast, faster than usual because of the surprise she had gotten. Surprise. Why surprise though?

"Tori? You okay?" Tori broke out of her trance, her eyes travelling up the body of the person that stood in front of her. Tony. "Happy Birthday, Tori!" Tony smiled, causing Tori to glow.

"I can't believe myself. I forgot my own birthday." Tori laughed, hugging Tony as she thanked him quietly.
