ch.5

Her steps echoed as she waddles down the dark and cold corridor. Her hands slide over the wall, moving along the smooth texture as she nears a doorway.

Moving in towards the door, her eyes widen as her sight becomes clear. Her eyes bubble with tears, as she opens her mouth but nothing comes out but a high pitched scream. Her hands move to cover her mouth, as she moves away from the doorway, backing into the wall behind her.

A dark figure exits from the room she just looked into. Its tall figure over taking Blue's confidence, as she cowers against the wall behind her. Its large hand finds it way onto her cheek, caressing it gently before delivering a sharp slap.

A scream erupts from her throat, as she trys to push the figure away with the little strength she has left, her yellow eyes pleading for the figure to stop, her hands curling around their metal wrist.

Finally the figure cuts Blue, the left side of her forehead bleeding heavily, whimpering as she covers it with her hands, the blood staining her hands as she trys to stay awake. Her eyes slowly drooped as the blood spilled from the wound.

Her eyes widen at the sight, her lips curling into a small smile as she watches them from afar. Two boys ran about, their curly locks flinging everywhere their head did, their smiles as bright as the sun, their eyes twinkling like the night sky.

Blue's new neighbors had just moved in, and she had decided to help them set up everything. Placing a box filled with pictures down, Blue smiled as the two grandsons of her actual neighbor run around, their laughter echoing as their sneakers squeaked against the smooth floor.

"Thank you so much." Blue turned to face her neighbor, Trixie Christmas, her short brown hair stuck out with grey streaks poking out, and shimmering green eyes. Trixie came from a long line of Greeks, but had grown up in Australia, only now moving to New york to meet her children and their families.

Blue nodded, "It was nothing." She turned back to Trixie's grandsons, her cheeks rising as she smiled again. "What are their names, if I may ask?" Blue quirked a brow, turning to Trixie as she sat down on a old, but plush green couch.

"Jacob is the one with the short brown curly hair and brown eyes, and Jensen is the one with the curly blonde hair and blue eyes." Trixie smiled as the two boys tackled, throwing each other different ways, as they moved around the room.

"How old are they?"

"BOYS. Calm down please and come here." The two turned to their grandmother, mumbling their sorries and shuffled over towards the two females.

Jensen grinned at Blue, his smirk making Blue compare it to Tony's, only for Jacob to slap him over the head. Jensen growled, raising his fist only for their gran to stop the two.

"Now boys, how old are you? And please tell miss Whittle the story behind your last names." Trixie explained, rubbing her forehead.

The two grinned at Blue, and sat down on the couch opposite their gran with her, and started sharing their stories. Over time, Blue had learnt that the two boys were actually cousins, and both were in their near adult years. The two had also both taken their mothers last name instead of their fathers, after such sudden deaths of their mothers. Both boys had also been in near death experiences, and acted like it meant nothing, while their gran freaked out about it everytime it was told.

Jacob was named after his late grandfather, also taking on the family name from his mothers side, which was Graves. As for Jensen, his mother had a heart attack when she was younger, and was saved by a old man named Jensen. In respect of him, Jensens mother called him that, as well as he took in the family name Reid.

By the time the late afternoon had rolled around, the two teenage boys layed asleep on the plush green couch, their bodies mingled together as Blue held back a giggle. Blue bid her fare well to Trixie, and headed back into her apartment, only to find her place a mess.

Rushing around her home, Blue gasped as she spotted something. Pulling her phone from her pocket, she quickly called a certain someone, their voice connecting to the line quickly.

"Tony, they were here. And I think they found it."
