(Zane's Pov~)

A girl came in and I threatened her with my sword asking who she was and why she was here. She said I was an old friend of hers but I never had any friends, or did I?

I said "I never had friends or would I be friends with you!" That was a mistake of me.

She slapped me across the face. Hard. That ignorant brat slapped me

"GEEZ ZANE, I KNOW YOU TURNED EVIL AND ALL BUT ALL I NEEDED WAS FOR YOU TO REMEMBER ME!" She then stomped out the door.

My face still stung from the impact of her hand...but she seemed familiar...but where...

I looked down to find a book and quill...it seems enchanted...

The front says journal. The first part, the first page.

"December 29
I found my mother dead and my father giving me this necklace...I don't know why it's so important but...I'd like to find out why...I cried myself to sleep...I'm hoping to find someone...

December 30
I woke up and found two boys talking in a tree.....one of them had black hair and blue eyes, the other blonde hair and blue eyes as well. The black haired boy who was around my age was talking about crying in the woods...probably me...he said I was scary so I yelled up "so I'm scary?" They fell from the impact and I said sorry and ran off. When they went away I made a tree house and started to sing...but when I was done...I heard clapping from the castle...this made me smile and I fell asleep.

December 31
I woke up to the two boys again, I thought they wouldn't come back but they did.

They were talking. "I heard her singing, it was amazing!" The black haired boy said but the Blondie thought it was his imagination but I greeted them and they became my friends...we had a snowball fight and Zane got hit with a snowball and went on cracking I quickly saved him only to fall in myself...I then blacked out.

January 1

I woke up in new clothes and found Garroth and Zane on the left side of the bed...They were worried about me...then Zane thought he would loose...me? Wow...my first friend cares about me...

January 5

It's been a few days since ive been friends with Garroth and Zane...but I know someone is watching me...I don't want them to get hurt...so I'm leaving...I left a note and I was off...I hope they don't forget."

I read the rest of the journal entries which had Garroth and Zane my only friends then the book glew and a new entry was written...

Today
I found my old friend Garroth today! I was so happy...but I heard about Zane...I went to his place to see if he remembers me...but I was wrong, and worst of all...I slapped him...I didn't want to but I did...I hated doing it...i...guess I over reacted...I guess...and now I ran off back to Phoenix Drop...looks like I'll be staying there...and geez it's been 10 years since I've seen him...I wanted to hurt cause...well no matter, I'll be moving on
To my new friend Aphmau...and my only old friends Garroth..."

I shook my head..."I need time to think..."
