6/Last + bonus

"Don't get me wrong," Oikawa says, with a tired expression on his face, "I love your enthusiasm for exercising that ghost but how are you going to do it? Nika's mom had trouble doing so and she was a trained exorcist. Sure you're part witch but that isn't going to help you that much."

"On top of it," Nika adds in an awkward tone of voice. It will take them a while to get use to being able to talk again.... "By the way you're talking I have a feeling you know the person who is getting possessed by the ghost. You can't hurt that person and you can't let them hurt you either. In other words, you must make the ghost and your friend let their guard down but not let down yours."

"You know what you could really use?" Kuroo asks, suddenly joining in on the conversation. "A distraction. Something to distract the ghost will you try to reach your friend. Or girlfriend or boyfriend or partner or whatever. Who is being possed?"

With a sharp intake of breath, Daichi responds, "my father."

As if on cue, a ship the belongs to the Royal Navy coasts into the cove. Amongst the hardened faces of the crew, Daichi is able to spot a soft face. A face that has been pampered... A royal face.

"Speak of the devil," Oikawa hisses in annoyance. "I'll make sure the crew doesn't bother you." Giving Daichi a quick kiss on the lips, he adds, "With that kiss you will be immune to my singing. Now, go get that ghost!" Before Daichi can even utter a single sound in response, Oikawa starts to sing.

His voice sounds deep, rich and sweet. Although such a powerful voice would normally distract Daichi, he finds Oikawa's voice comforting.

"Daichi," Kuroo says, before kissing him on the lips like Oikawa did. "Good luck. I wish I could help more... Oh and that didn't do anything. I j-just wanted to k-kiss you."

With a red, embarrassed face Daichi stutters "Y-You've helped plenty, K-Kuroo." Clearing his throat to regain his composure, he adds, "thank you for all the help. It means a lot."

"We should be thanking you," Nika replies, with a small smile upon their face, "Now, let's face this ghost together." With no other option in their current form other than to carry Daichi bridal style, Nika flies up onto the deck of the ship.

When they land on the deck, Daichi's possessed father emits a loud gasp. "N-No, it c-can't be! Are you really here? I tried to so hard to find you!"

Jumping out of Nika's arms, Daichi shouts, "just because my mother is a part of Nika now doesn't mean you suddenly to talk to her. There is a reason she doesn't like you. Want to know why? It is because all you care about is getting what you want." With a brief pause Daichi adds, "Although, right now, I can't criticize you for that. Right now all I care about is getting my father back."

Even though they had done little to no planning for this moment... Both Daichi and Nika sense what they must do. Without as much as a nod to each other, the speak at the same time.

While Daichi encourages his father to fight the ghost, Nika utters a collection of strange phrases. Strange phrases that until this point they were sure they had forgotten. The passage makes the ghost gradually uncomfortable, before, at the final words, forces the ghost to leave its host. The forceful push out of a host iis pure agony for a ghost.

After a few minutes of rapid, loud and desperate speech the ghost is forced to leave Daichi's father's body. With a scream so high pitched that Daichi is surprised his ears don't bleed, the ghost is blown apart by the wind.

Taking a much needed deep breath of air, Nika says, "Only love can cleanse a tainted body and make it sustainable for a soul once again. Were you able to reach him, Daichi?"

"Of course he was," the king wheezes, "he's my son. My strong, brave son..."

BONUS:

When Daichi explained what happened to his father... When he explained how me met Kuroo Oikawa and Nika... When he mentioned how they all fought, Daichi's father ended up making new laws. Laws that would protect the cove and all of its inhabitants. He also made Kuroo, Oikawa and Nika knights.

Nika became known as the knight of the sky.

Oikawa and Kuroo became known as knights of the sea.

In a few years time, Oikawa and Kuroo became known as something more powerful and important...

They became known as kings.

Daichi had owed Oikawa and Kuroo a debt for getting saved by Nika but still ending up in their cove. It wasn't until now, though, that they decided the payment would be his love.
