TIME SKIP

We were finally heading home. Luckily, the strong winds had stopped, so I had no trouble walking along side my brothers.

It was still really cold outside, but it was a nice feeling. After being in those stuffy caverns for a while, it's nice to feel the winter air again.

"I spy with my little eye socket, something... white!" Papyrus shouted.

We had been playing this game for a while.

"Is it snow?" I asked, again.

"Correct! How are you so good at this, Verdi?"

I laughed a bit, before Sans responded for me.

"I dunno, bro. Maybe she was born with skill!" he said, sarcastically.

"You bet! Skill is my middle name!" I laughed.

This game could not have been any easier. The only things we could see were the trees and snow. Papyrus isn't exactly the best at suggesting games.

"Do you even have a middle name, sis?" Sans asked, looking towards me.

"Uh... I don't think so. Mom and Dad didn't give me one. I guess I'm just good ol' Verdana Fontiere."

Sans turned back to our parents, who were following close behind.

"Does Dani have a middle name?"

Dad looked at Mom, who shook her head.

Papyrus' eyes lit up like like the colorful lights on our house.

"OOH OOH! CAN WE GIVE YOU A MIDDLE NAME?!"

Oh, boy.

"Yeah, sis! How about we give you a middle name?" Sans also liked the idea.

Great. As long as it wasn't something dumb like "Hot Dog Spaghetti Princess" or "Punalicious" I'm alright with it.

"Hmm, how about clumsy? You did fall down a hole..." Sans joked.

"Um, no thanks."

"WHAT ABOUT OOPSIE DAISY?" Papyrus laughed.

"No! Nothing bad!" I growled.

"Heh... how about Snowball?"

"PICKLE?"

"Leap Frog!"

"JINGLE BELL!"

"Doofus?"

"NO!" I shouted.

We were all laughing. These guys have no taste!

"Wait a minute. You liked those flowers in Waterfall, right? Sans started.

Yeah, I did. Where is he going with this?

"Yes, I liked them. Why?"

"I dunno. I was just thinking of something like, Echo." he said.

"Echo?"

"Yeah. Like their name - Echo Flowers." he grinned.

"That one actually sounds pretty nice, Sans. Thanks!"

"So, is that your middle name?!" Papyrus asked.

"Well, I guess it is. I like it!"

"HOORAY! WE GOT YOU A MIDDLE NAME" Papyrus shouted.

Well, my full name is Verdana Echo Fontiere.

Heh.

I like the way that sounds.

I'm only three-ish weeks into school and we already have plenty of assignments! Why?!

This chapter is kinda short, but I promise this was just a filler! The next chapter will have more thickness to it. After all... It's the beginning of school.
