A griefing child starts hitting/insulting you (Staff)

Seteth:

He knows how to handle kids. He can be stern with the students but this is just a kid who lost so much now; they don't need a scolding but some compassion and assurance. So he approached, giving you a hand motion that said to not do anything and let him handle it.

Going into a crouch he turned the kid, telling them to stop and listen. The child kept trying to continue so he just began talking to the child. He pushed your leg to tell you to go away as you staying here will keep the kid being like this so left and indeed finally the kid began listening and looking at him.

Once it was dealt with he approached you, informing you of how it went then claimed that he hopes they will be okay.

Jeritza:

He just glanced then away. You can deal with that. When you didn't it began bothering him and had to tell himself 'can't kill a child'. He walked over, took the kid's back collar, then pulled them away with such a snatch the kid yelped and their cries stopped, now replaced with a look of pure shock. He warned them to stop then put them down and asked you if you are ready to go.

You nod so both walked away. The kid kept yelling. He got memories back to when his mother and sister left him all alone so he looked to the kid then approached and crouched. He pat the kid's head, assuring quietly that it will be okay as time goes, thenouse he got up again and went with you.

Manuela:

She watched with a sad look. She knows how this child will end up now, so nobody can really blame the child's anger and sadness. They have every right to be this angry.

Though the insults were a bit much so she approached and tried to use her gentle charms to calm the child; assuring them they can always come to the cathedral and she will pray with them and be a listening ear. The child seemed to have calmed down so she gently guided them away, giving you a look that said a sorrowful "go on ahead, I'll deal with the child".

Hanneman:

He felt pity for the child but also wondered if that language is what their parents taught them. When he saw your hands take the child's fists and tell them to stop he hurried over, worried you will be too blunt and only worsen this child's state. The child is already down low, any more and it'll be ensuring a future enemy. So he put his hand's on the child's head gently, asking gently if they would like to talk about it.

He listened as the child wailed then he asked you to go make sure the child has somewhere safe to go. When you returned, claiming there is someone who will watch over the kid, he let the kid go. As you both watched the kid go he shook his head, saying he hopes the child will be okay.

Catherine:

She picked them up from behind and just held them there, leaving them shocked and confused then begin flailing; shouting to be let go. She asked if they will hit you again, to which they said yes so she put them on her shoulders and fake sighed then she's afraid they can't be near you anymore.

She asked if you have anything to say to the child. You stared at the kid then sighed you are sorry they had to experience this stuff. Catherine was quite shocked to hear you apologize for this to the kid, and she found it admirable, so she playfully jumped to bounce the kid then walked away, saying she will bring them back to a safe place.

Shamir:

She almost aimed her bow at this kid, but then remembered they are that: a kid. So she put the bow away and arrow back in the quiver. With crossed arms, and a firm voice, she told them to stop. The kid froze for a second then pointed at you, yelling you did this to them so you deserve it. Shamir raised her eyebrow then asked if they didn't see how you and the rest saved this place.

The kid began crying not their houses so Shamir sighed then crouched, telling them they are okay, and their family, so that's all that matters; houses can always be rebuild. She's not the best with kids so she felt awkward as she wasn't sure what to say so she stood up, telling you you can take over now then hurried away, leaving you to deal with this further.

Gatekeeper:

He saw a child hurrying from the market to you as you walked past him. He was quick to snatch their hand when they raised it to hit your back. You turned at the sounds. You asked what this is so he nervously said he's not sure. The child began flailing, shouting everything went bad because of you.

You stared then told Gatekeeper to get the child out of here as this is no place for a kid then left, leaving him to stare then quickly nod and awkwardly pull the child with him, who kept flailing and resisting, so he tried to assure them he has known you for a while now and you have never done anything wrong and always helped all so they don't have to worry.
