The Savill Household
Okay. Starting this off with an A/N real quick. One, thank you to ImaReadingRaptor for suggesting I write a book in the first place and also for the profile pic, if it wasn't for them requesting a book, I would have never even had the confidence to start this. So depending on how you feel about this story, you can either thank them or blame them. 2, I want to actually thank you guys for your positive responses to the first chapter, had it not been for you guy's reinforcement on the first part, I probably would not have decided to start writing the chapter so soon after the first.
Now. With that out of the way, I'm sure you are tired of the sound of my bold text and just want some more story. See you next chapter bye bye!
~~Lana's Pov~~
By the time I actually made it home, it was dark outside, around 8:00 at night give or take.
Once I step inside, I hear my brother, Robin the Jolteon, speak to me. "Hey Lana, you're back. So, how was your day?" My brother asked me as he looked up from his textbook. He was sitting in the living room next to the entrance.
In a past life, he was a famous battler, winning tournaments on the regional level. However, after our parents were killed, he quit, as he needed a career that would hopefully provide a more consistent income. So he's studying Law.
"Nothing much, I met someone new today, though," this caught his attention, as he took off his reading glasses, "Oh? Who did you meet?" I smiled, "His name was Noah. He was a Shiny Umbreon from Aria."
Robin let out a soft chuckle, "Well, I would definitely like to meet him, he seems nice." I nod. "He was." I looked around, and was confused. Flora, my brother's mate, wasn't here.
"Hey, where's Flora?" Robin let out a sigh and looked out the window. "She won't be home for a little bit, something happened at the restaurant..."
Flora owns a restaurant, and is famous for being the best chef in Petalburg. "Is she okay?" I asked him, he nodded, "She's fine, don't worry about her, she will only be a little bit longer."
He looks at me again, "But I want to hear more about this 'Noah' fellow. He must have left quite a positive impression on you if you speak of him so highly." I let out a faint blush, looked away, and nodded, "We agreed to meet at the Central Plaza around noon tomorrow."
Robin let out a soft smile, "Really? Mind if I tag along then? I feel like I, as your brother, should meet your new boyfriend." I jolted, he already knows my feelings for him?
"W-what are you talking about? He's just a friend!" I yelled at him, but he only rolled his eyes, "Sure. Keep telling yourself that, sis."
"Look, Robin. If you want to meet him, that's fine, but we are friends at most, if he even considers me a friend." Saying that last part actually hurt me more than I was expecting. What does he think of me? Am I a friend to him? Or just some random girl off the street?
Before I even had time to contemplate if Noah viewed me as anything more then a random girl, the door opened, and a Leafeon stepped inside, seemingly exhausted, and carrying a few bags hanging from her nape
Robin stood up and went up to her, "Here, hun. Let me get those for you. You must be tired." He grabbed the bags from around her neck with his mouth. She gave him a small peck on the forehead, "Thanks."
She then looked at me. She was only slightly taller than me, just enough to have to bend her knees a tiny bit to look me on the eyes.
She let out a soft smile, "Hey there, Lana. Are you doing alright?" I nodded, and her smile widened before she let out a yawn. "Sorry, Lana. Really wish I could talk, but I really need to get some sleep. I'm exhausted."
I simply nodded in understanding. She walked into her and Robin's room. Robin picked up his textbook, "Yeah, you and I should be heading to bed too, don't want to be too tired when we see your boyfriend tomorrow, do we?"
I growled a bit under my breath, "For the last time, Robin, he's not my boyfriend." He patted me on the back, laughing a bit "Right, I forgot, friends. But still, we really should get some sleep."
After he said that, he walked to the bookshelf, put the textbook away, and went into him and Flora's room. Tomorrow is going to be good.
Alright. That is Chapter 2. I was planning on also having the 2nd meeting of Dusk and Lana/the 1st meeting of Dusk and Robin in this chapter, but decided to give that it's own chapter. I also realize that most of last chapter was through Lana's Pov, and all of this chapter was as well, so next chapter will be mostly Noah and even a bit of Robin
So as always, thank you for reading, tell me how I can improve in the comments, and until the next chapter. Peace!
