Hey guys. Another short chapter. Sorry 'bout that. But hey, new perspective. That's about all I have to say, actually. Enjoy.

~~Inigo's Pov~~

I can't believe it. What does she see in that jackass? She told me that she loved him, but they have only known each other for about a week, and we've known each other for pretty much our whole lives! I am the one who was always there to protect her. I am the one who was always there to cheer her up when she was down. I am the one who has given up everything for her.

So why does she love him?

All my life she has been the only thing that has ever mattered to me, and this random Umbreon is trying to take that from me too? I thought my suffering finally ended when I met her. The number of times I've almost given my life to protect her is too many to count.

Why me? I had thought I lost it all when I lost my family. Then I met Lana. She was fun, bubbly, and always brightened my day. Then when her parents died, I was there for her. I was always there for her.

What right does this 'Noah' have, coming in and taking away the only pokémon that has ever made me feel wanted? The only one to make me feel compassion.

Why can't she see that I have loved her all my life?

It's all that damn Umbreon's fault. If it weren't for the fact that Lana "loves" him he would be gone. Why can't she understand that he's trying to use her?

I swear if I see him lay a single paw on her, he's dead. I don't care if it's a crime. I'll do anything to protect her. It wouldn't be the first time honestly, just the first time it wouldn't be legally classified as 'defense.'

I close the small suitcase that I packed my things in. The thought of leaving Lana alone with him sits very poorly with me, but I have to go.

I don't leave until tomorrow, so I might as well go for a walk around town. I leave my house and walk to the town square. A lot of the Pokémon are scared of me and refuse to approach. I never really care though. Lana has been, and will always be the only thing that matters to me. I was just minding my own business when I heard a voice from behind.

"Excuse me?" I turn around to see a zeraora. Based on their voice and physique, they must be male. "What is it?" He smiled, "I was just hoping you could tell me where the residential area is. I'm new here and I'm looking for my house"

I let out a small sigh, "Go to the fountain, the path to the right takes you to the residential area." The zeraora's face lit up, "Thank you sir." He held out his paw, "I'm Hermes!" I looked around and hesitantly shook his paw, "Inigo. Though I don't know why you feel the need to introduce yourself"

Hermes nodded slightly, "It's just part of being friendly. Anyways, thanks for the help. Bye" after he finished, he started to walk in the direction I pointed him in. Friendly. Yeah, right.

I continue on my way. I was a bit hungry, so I decided to stop by Flora's restaurant to eat. Another new Pokémon? Is this "Hermes" guy related to Noah in some way? Probably not, but I can't rule it out.

Damn you Noah. You were lucky Lana was there. She deserves much better than the likes of you.

And that's about it. This chapter was actually supposed to happen before the Nightmares chapter, but decided to give you guys the Noah and Lana chapter first. So as always, I hope you enjoyed, and until next chapter. Peace!
