~||Chapter 7||~
||Your Point of View, Blue Army Main Base - London||
Your eyes fluttered slowly, taking in the morning lights. Laying on your back, you stared up at the black laced curtains of your canopy. You laid there for a while, your mind in a peaceful state. You hadn't had good sleep in years, so the fact you slept like a baby last night was something special to you.
Turning to your side, you tucked your right arm under your pillow, smearing your scent against your pillow. Letting out a content purr, you curled up in your warm and cozy bed. As your eyelids slowly began to hood over your eyes, your attention was caught by the time.
You frowned, your face twisting in sorrow and annoyance seeing it was already late. Getting out of your bed, you muttered curse words under your breath. It was such a pity to leave your warm and cozy bed.
Hastily tugging on your clothes, you trudged down to your father's office. Standing outside his door, you made quick fixes to your lazy appearance before clearing your throat. Knocking 3 times on his grand oak door, you waited for a response.
.
.
.
Nothing.
You frowned looking at the door confused. Usually, he would've given you the right away before chewing you out for sleeping in. Knocking again, you waited for a response. When you heard nothing but silence, you barged into the office seeing absolutely nothing. The room had been untouched, but it was slightly trashed with alcohol and the glass bottles your father was throwing last night. Rubbing your forehead, you guessed your father was having a hangover.
Closing the office doors, you made your way down to your father's room. You narrowed your eyes, seeing that the bed was empty. Before you could have the chance to worry, you came up with some more ideas of where your father could be.
You checked the bathrooms to see if he was vomitting or showering, you checked the kitchen to see if he was eating, hell you even checked Edd & Matt's room - Which you quickly regretted when the smell of heat and sex filled your nose and the sight of a naked Matt & Edd scorched your virgin eyes.
You walked down the halls with a nearly robotic strut, your eyes still wide open from the terrifying view you had this morning. Taking in a deep breath, you knocked on the door to the security room.
The door swung wide open before your fist even touched the wood. Raising an eyebrow, you felt a churning sensation in your gut. Entering inside the room, your breath was stolen as you saw that the room was trashed.
Guts and blood were everywhere, the screens were broken and cracked. You stepped over some mutilated limbs, looking around for any evidence of who did it. Digging through the bloody mess of a room, you managed to find a strand of bloody brown hair. Grabbing a tissue, you picked it up carefully before wrapping it up. It may have been the worse way to save DNA, but it was the only way you could do so at the moment.
You glanced around, looking at the bodies for a good moment. There were only 2 people who worked in there, one was a blonde and the other had dyed their hair red and green. Biting your lower lip, you let out a soft blessing, praying that their journey to the afterlife would be safe.
Tip-toeing out of the room, you pressed onto the botton of the intercom to call up Commander Matt. Static came out from the radio, making you more nervous. Whoever did this was determined on slowing you down.
You let out a huff, before storming down into the lab. There was no way in hell you were going into Matt's room, not after what you saw earlier. If he needed you, he could look for you.
Bursting into the lab, you held the napkin up in the air. "Maurice, I need you to run some DNA testing for me - And fast!" You shouted as a smaller man waddled into the room. He sniffled, tilting his glassed back onto his nose examining you. "Young miss, why are you here so early...?" He began, taking away the napking and opening it to see the strand.
You bit your knuckle softly, as the strand went into a machine you couldn't even understand. As Maurice punched letters and keys into the computer, you began to explain. "I think something terrible has happened to the Blue Leader, he's no where to be found and... The security room, it's-" Sensing your worry, Maurice glanced over at you wide eyes. "Do you mean-?" Nodding quickly, you bit your lip. "Yes, The two soldiers in their were killed. I tried ringing up Commander Matthew but... The intercom was broken." You paused, raising your gaze to Maurice. "Do you have an radio that connects to him?"
Maurice nodded, before looking back to the screen. "Yes, of course. Use the radio that's on the back table. I'll check for some matches..." You didn't even respond, walking at a fast pace to the back table. Finding the radio, you began to dial Matt's line.
"What is it Maurice?" Matt grumbled, a faint distressed purr coming from Edd. Gulping your nerves down, you let out a breath. "Uncle Matt, it's me, Kuro." You could sense the tension coming from Matt, hearing him shift in the background. You only called him Uncle when something bad happened. "What happened?" He spoked softly, no doubtingly having his radio on speaker. You drew your breath slowly, your nails digging into your palms. "I don't even know where to start. My f- The Blue Leader is no where to be seen... The soldiers in the security room? Dead. All the cameras and screens where broken. Oh, and the base intercom has been broken." You winced, waiting for him to respond. He let out a raspy 'fuck' before hanging up on you.
It wasn't long until Matt and Edd were bursting into the room, a look of worry plastered on Edd's face while Matt seemed focused and determined to hide his concern. You let out a sharp breath, turning to Maurice who fixed his glasses once more. "Commander, Sir, Young Miss, I think I have found a match to our 'attacker'," He began, glancing up at the screen.
Your eyes fixated on the image above - It was a busty female, with long cury chesnut hair. Her skin was a light tan with warm tones, her lips a dark red. Her bangs pointed up into devil-like horns, similar to the Red Leaders. One eye was silver while the other was a pitch black with silver pupil. She had on a smug smirk, a cigarette loosely hanging out of her mouth. You felt an odd sensation wash over you - She had some features that... Resembled closely to your father. You noticed that she had his nose, his face shape... And not to mention the pitch black silver eye.
All kinds of alarms were going off in your mind...
You snapped out of thought, when you heard Maurice clear his throat. "This is, what the blue soldiers call, 'The Devil's Baby'. Literally." He let out a raspy sigh, glancing up at the profile. "She's Tord's daughter, from what we've gathered. She also has a little sister, who the soldiers call 'Sugar Baby'. We don't have much information on the girls, but... All we do know is that they are both dangerous threats. From the hair your collected, it's no doubt 'Devil's Baby' slipped into the base." When he finished his statement, he glanced over to the higher-ups, then you.
You clenched your fist, narrowing your eyes.
You knew exactly what you were going to do...
----------
Tom's eyes fluttered open, but he couldn't see a damn thing. He felt panic rise up in him, realizing that his electronic visor had been ripped off. He felt a cool breese brush past him, a familiar scent of cigars, spice, and gunpowder filled his nose.
Tord.
"Ah, Thomas! You're awake! I was beginning to think I was going to need to shock you awake!" His Norweigan accent purred, as he bent down coming face to face with Tom. His breathing slowed down, when he felt the warmth of Tord's body coming close. Tom felt his face twist with anger, questions racing through his mind. The first one that escaped his lips were, "Where the fuck am I?" He shuddered, feeling a sinister aura roll off of Tord, his lips hovering just above his.
"Why darling... You're home again."
A/N: More cliffhangers, haha.
