||Chapter 5||

||Your Point of View - Blue Army Main Base, London||

You squirmed in the chair, your heart racing as you eagerly watched you father's movements. He let out an exhausted sigh, rubbing the sides of his forehead. "I'll take care of the matter during the World Peace Meet..." He mumbled, leaning forward as he shuffled through his papers. Glancing up at you with his LED eyes he let out a huff. "You are dismissed."

You nodded softly, standing up from the chair as you made your way to the door. Walking to the commons where Madison and Cedric were sitting. Luckily, they weren't chewed out by their alpha parent. Madison looked up at you, letting out a soft sigh. "Did Blue Leader say anything to you?"

You shook your head sighing. "I was just interrogated, but nothing serious... I'll be okay." You forced a smile, trying to relieve their nerves. Sitting down, you let out a soft sigh. You had to admit - You were expecting your father to be more...Angry about what happened. Fortunately, all he did was interrogate you with questions and order that you train harder and longer.

You rested your hand on your palm, sighing softly as you closed your eyes. You could only be thankful that you didn't have it bad.

-3 Weeks Later-

You were in the middle of training when you noticed your father standing to the side watching. You held your breath, becoming more focused and alert as you trained your eyes on your opponent.

It was a tall and buff Alpha, whose ego was bigger than his dick. He sneered, getting into a fighting stance. "Scared sweet cheeks? Don't worry, I'll go easy on ya." He chuckled, sending sleazy pheromones your way. You growled, crinkling your nose in disgust. Something about that ticked you off - How he thought that a sleazy douchebag like him could possibly get the chance to mate and knot you... It made your body seethe with rage.

It was a common problem for you, actually - For new-coming Alpha's try to mate with you. They never flirted with the intention of actual pure love, no they saw you as a status booster. And that pissed you off. Your head was getting light, a massive throb on the side of your head.

You saw the towel wave in front of you, as you bolted at the Alpha, tackling him onto the ground before he could even move. You were throwing punches in full rage, blood splattering onto the ground and covering your knuckles.

You swore you saw fucking red.

That's when you began to feel... Off.

Your breathing got harsher as you felt your heartbeat get faster. Your bones began to ache, as you let out a low growl. You could see the horror in the eyes of the Alpha, his breathing becoming strained and choked. He was trying to say something - he was trying to scream.

You began to see way too much blood, but you felt a craving. You wanted more.

Your body was going absolute haywire, your vision getting blurry but clear at the same time. You felt someone grip your arm, dragging you away. You snarled, trying to fight against whoever was dragging you. You managed to catch a glimpse of a purple monster arm and a torn navy-blue dress shirt. You snarled, seeing a needle come near you before lights were out.

----

You shot up from the bed, choking on air as you wheezed and gasped for breath. You looked down, seeing there were tubes connected everywhere, screens with your heart rate and x-rays surrounded you. You gulped, realizing you were in the lab.

Your eyes traced around the room, as you broke into a cold sweat. You snapped your head up when you saw your father standing beside your bed. He looked awful like he had been skipping sleep and meals. You noticed that when he saw you awake, his face lightened up, color slowly coming back.

"Oh god- Kuro," He rasped, pulling you into a tight hug. You were caught off guard, before returning the hug. He pulled away, giving you a quick slap across the cheek. "Don't you EVER worry me like that again!" He piped, tears forming on his LED screen.

Your breath was almost taken away. It was a guilty pleasure seeing your dad like this since it was the only moment when he showed that he actually gave a damn about you. You let out a soft breath, nodding your head slowly. "My apologies father..." You whispered, lowering your head. He looked at you with a tender loving gaze, cupping your cheek. "Little dove, do you remember what happened?"

You looked up, your eyes wide. You could feel tears swell. Little Dove was your childhood nickname, something he called you until you turned 10. You bit your lip shaking your head.

He let out a rasped breath, closing his eyes. "I thought so..." He took in a heavy breath, examining you. "It seems that... You have something that makes it more obvious you are my daughter..."

You paused, raising an eyebrow. Chewing on the inside of his cheek, he continued. "You can shift into a monster, Kuro."

You blinked, looking at your father in surprise. "Are- Are you sure?" You asked, your eyes fluttering in surprise. He nodded softly, sighing. "Yes. No. Sort of," He let out an exhausted groan, rubbing his forehead. "It's all very confusing, we're not completely sure how much you can shift or if you can fully shift at all." He paused, examining you. "What we do know is that your emotions are like trigger buttons for you... What did you feel before you snapped?"

You held your breath, before blinking. "Well, I felt disgusted and angry when that douchebag began to send his pheromones my way... Then everything went-"

"Blank?"

You nodded softly, your father rubbing his stubble as he thought. "I see..." He thought for a moment, before letting out a sigh. "I think it would be the safest bet if you come with me to the meeting - So I can keep an eye on you, just in case."

Your eyes widened, as you let out a soft breath. "Wait, are you serious? You want me to go to the world meeting with you?" Tom nodded, glancing over to the side. "Perhaps you could meet Tess... She's a red army scientist but, let's just say we have some 'history' together... " Rubbing his forehead, he looked at you one last time. "I'll let you rest up. The meeting is tomorrow afternoon, so I don't want you to strain your body anymore. Am I clear?" You nodded softly, sinking back into the bed. "Yes, sir." Your father lets out a relieved sigh, before leaving the room.

You leaned your head on the pillow before your eyes began to close slowly.

||3 Years Ago||

Tom let out a groan of pain, bleeding out onto the ground. His vision was getting blurry as his breathing slowed down. He didn't want to go down like this....

His eyes were dulled down, but sharp as he heard footsteps coming near.

"Blue Leader? Is that you?" A soft voice called. Tom held his breath, searching the room when he saw a blurred figure enter the room. He scanned the figure for a moment, not recognizing who this was exactly. All he knew was that this was a Red Army Soldier.

He growled, showing his canines. "Fuck off." He spat, trying to hoist himself up. The girl held her breath, holding her hands up. "I'm not here to hurt you..." She whispered, setting a med kid beside him. He froze, examining her movements. "Why... Are you helping me?" He rasped, his fingers digging into the dirt.

She only smiled, petting his hair softly. "You used to play with me when I was younger."

Tom's LED eye's blinked as he let out a soft breath. "Ah... I remember you- Tess was it?"

She nodded, smiling faintly. "Yes, you'd always let me play doctor with you since my parents were always too busy on missions..."

Tom let out a soft breath, feeling her press the alcohol-drenched cloth onto his major wounds groaning softly. "It's gonna sting, but you have to pull through it..." She mumbled, cleaning up his wounds. He twitched, glancing up at her.

"How did you find me?" He rasped, his body clenching up. "The smell of distress was strong on you..." She whispered, pulling the cloth away to get a new one.

Tom panted softly, letting Tess clean up the wounds before stitching them back together. The silence was deafening after that before Tess began to tear up.

"Why did you leave us?'

"What?"

"Why did you leave the red army...?"

Tom held his breath, looking at the girl. "Because my heart belongs to the Blue Army." She let out a soft whimper, clenching her coat. "But what about the Red Army? Aren't we your home...? I mean, Toffee and Sugar are there..."

Tom pursed his lips, flinching. He was well aware of Toffee & Sugar. They were the pups that were stolen from him... He closed his eyes softly. "Tess, how would you feel if you were taken from your home and forced to stay there? Wouldn't you want to return?"

Tess' eyes softened, as she let out a soft sigh. She was beginning to understand why Tom left. "Yes.... I.. I just thought you- you loved the red leader..."

Tom flinched.

He did love Tord, but... He knew it couldn't work. It wouldn't work. Tom led the Blue Army, Tord led the Red... They were enemies. They could never be together. "It's complicated," he whispered, looking away. Tess could sense the tension, so she left the omega alone.

"I've anonymously radioed your commander. He should be coming any time..." Standing up, she held her breath. "Good bye, Tom."

...Day of World Peace Meet...

You let out a huff, looking through your closet for something to wear. Usually, you'd wear your usual attire of a purple trench coat and shorts, but Peace meetings were different. Leaders of the 4 armies came together to talk together.

Pulling out a sleeveless lavender dress shirt, you slipped it on with some high-waisted white slacks. Sliding on some purple flats, you quickly brushed your hair up into a high ponytail before rushing down to the corridors.

You climbed into the plane, out of breath as you were already a dripping mess. Your father shook his head, sighing. "Kuro, you still have 25 minutes left." You only let out a chuckle, giving him a lopsided smile. "I wanted to be extra early."

Your father gave out a low chuckle, before getting up and moving to the cockpit. After exchanging a brief conversation with him, he returned back to the seat. "We're only waiting for Commander Matt and his mate Edd, then we'll be on our way"

You nodded, before staring out into the window. You watched as busy soldiers hustled to do their everyday task. After a quick 15 minutes, you turned your head hearing Matt and Edd climb aboard. Edd gave you a warm smile, as you stood up to greet him.

"Kuro dear, how are you?" He hummed, kissing the top of your head. In his arms was cradled a little baby boy. You smiled, letting out a soft purr. "I'm great Uncle Edd, how is Matthew Junior?"

"Oh, he's fine darling." Edd cooed, looking at the little bundle of joy. Out of the corner of your eye, you spotted your father giving the child a longing stare... A stare like he wanted a family of his own as if he'd give anything to take Edd's place... You shook your head at the thought. Nonsense.

Your father loved his job, and he loved what he did. There would be no way he'd want to settle down and raise a family the old-fashion way. You knew that first hand. Turning to the Commander, you gave Matt a stern handshake, before sitting down.

Before long you were gripping onto the chair as you began to take off. Edd was hushing the baby who was crying from the disturbance, caressing the side of the baby's face. You closed your eyes, holding your breath.

Oh boy, this was going to be a long ride.

----

"OH SWEET JESUS WE'RE ON THE GROUND!" You cried, collapsing onto your knees.

"Kuro, knock it off." Your father scolded, shielding his face in embarrassment. Stumbling up to the ground, you let out an exhausted sigh. Commander Matt stepped out of the plane, helping Edd who looked sick to the bone. "Remind me to double-check that we'll be flying with an EXPERIENCED pilot..." He mumbled, glancing over to Tom who was no doubt sick and exhausted as well.

"Thomas!"

Your ears went up when you heard the sweet sound of a beta female. Turning around you held your breath.

You saw a slightly-chubby woman, with dyed blue hair walking your father's way.

She was wearing a very beautiful gray and white attire. The dress was a turtle neck that revealed her cleavage and rest of her arms while covering her shoulders. Most of her long legs would've shown if it weren't for her boots that went up to her mid-thigh area. She wore black eyeliner to make her violet eyes stand out more, her lips a matte nude. She was quite beautiful.

You raised an eyebrow, seeing the way she coddled your father, covering his face with wet kisses. He was gagging and gasping for breath, before finally prying her off. "Hello, Laurel..."

"Ah, it's been forever!" She hummed, before hitting him in the arm. "You should've called me you bastard, I was worried sick!" She narrowed her eyes, before examining him. Letting out a soft breath, she held his hand. "I'm glad you're safe..." She whispered, kissing his cheek.

This sent off the alarms deep in your mind, as you were practically staring bullets at her. She pulled away, giving you a warm smile before trotting towards you.

You felt goose bumps litter your body as you noticed she was going to murder you with kisses too.

"Fuck-" you rasped, feeling her strong arms pull you into a hug. "And what a beautiful little girl you have Thomas! Why I could eat her right up!" She purred, slapping wet kisses onto your skin. You gave your father a death glare over the woman's shoulder, only to receive a mocking face. 'How dare you', You thought to yourself, nearly gasping for breath when Laurel pulled away.

"Now, let's go to the meeting, yes?" She purred, clasping her hands together. You noticed that she didn't even bother with Edd and Matt, scoffing to yourself.

You followed the older adults inside the building, staring in awe as you saw the beauty of the place.

After what seemed like an eternity of stairs and long halls, you finally made your way into a big wide room that had an oval table that stretched from side to side, lined with chairs.

You held your breath, staring at the 2 leaders that were already seated.

Laurel strolled past you guys, taking a seat beside her Alpha mate, kissing her lightly on the cheek. She smiled at you and your father, before turning away. The Red Leader let out a grunt, shifting in his seat.

"It's about time you guys got here." He scoffed, his Norweigan accent strong in his voice. You shot him a cold glare, following closely to your father. Taking a seat on your father's right side, you sat up proudly.

There was Yuu the Black Leader of Sweden, Laurel the White Leader of Poland, Tord the Red Leader of Norway, and of course your father, Thomas, The Blue Leader of England.

Yuu let out a sigh, clasping his hands together. "Well, now that we are all FINALLY here... Let's get down to business."

Laurel started off on how the Black Leader's scouts had crossed the borders and wreaked havoc while Yuu denied such a thing. While Tom and Tord pitched in occasionally, giving their opinions and say on the matter, you took quiet observations in your mind.

One of these days, you could be the Blue Leader, and one of these days these people could be your enemies or rivals - Like they are to your father.

It was better to get a head start now than later.

When Laurel and Yuu finally reached an agreement, Your father cleared his throat.

"I have a rather touchy situation - One that I find to be quite personal," He started, his LED eyes falling onto Tord. "One of our allies, the French Ambassador was killed by an anonymous red soldier."

The Red Leader grinned, giving out a hearty chuckle. "Oh, my apologies Thomas, last time I checked he was my enemy."

"Last time I checked, you signed a treaty that swore you nor your army wouldn't cross the borders without telling me first." Your father hissed, narrowing his eyes.

The red leader pursed his lips, opening them to speak before he was interrupted by a cocky female omega by his side. "The Red Army does whatever we feel like doing! And that includes crossing your stupid borders!" She spat, her nose crinkling up in mockery.

You pursed your lips, narrowing your eyes as you examined the stupid bitch. She had long jet black hair in a perm style, her natural narrow eyes were lined with pink eyeliner and mascara. She had too dark of an eyeshadow to be taken as a soldier - Her lips were a very bright pink.

She was wearing a black skimpy dress that was showing way too much cleavage that was presumably fake. She had a red overcoat, only to fit the Red Army's colors.

She looked like a stripper with a valentine's day special.

Puffing out her chest, she pursed her duck-like lips. Tord seemed to be bristling with absolute fucking fury as he stared at her.

"And who is this?" The Blue Leader hissed, irritated by this woman's comment. From the looks of it, she wasn't even a high-ranking soldier in Tord's army.

The woman piped up, holding up her hand flashing her ring finger. "I'm his mate - And soon to be wife!" She practically screeched, her voice sounding like nails on a chalkboard.

Even Tord flinched.

You noticed your father giving her an up-and-down look before raising an eyebrow at Tord. Just by the way, they looked at each other was... Off.

Your father steadily lets out a slow breath, before opening his mouth to speak. "Tord, I suggest you keep your 'mate' in line before you find yourself at war with the Blue Army." He replied calmly, setting his hands in front of him elegantly. You bit your lip, holding back a smirk.

Everyone in the room knew the story of how the Blue Army whipped the Red Army's ass back then.

Before Tord could respond, his mate, yet again, barged into a conversation she wasn't even invited in. "Oh yeah?! We're not afraid of you-"

"KYLA." Tord roared, slamming his fist on the desk. The woman whimpered, cowering into her seat. The man let out a hiss of irritation, running his fingers through his horn-like hair. "My apologies, Blue Leader..." He practically spat, avoiding his gaze.

You inhaled a deep breath, closing your eyes as you felt a cold glare wander over you. You flinched for a moment, opening your eyes again only to see no one looking at you. Weird.

Your father raised his head, letting out an irritated growl. "Is the meeting over?" He hissed, causing you to jerk your head up in surprise.

There hadn't even been an agreement on the rule Tord broke and the meeting was coming to an end. The other leaders had a tense moment of silence, before nodding slowly.

"The Peace Meeting Has Ended." They said in unison, getting up and leaving at their own separate pace.

You jerked up from your seat, scanning the room for your father. You ran into the hallway, seeing him practically sprinting down the halls. Sprinting after him, you reached out towards him, noticing tears rolling down his cheeks. "Fa-?"

"NOT NOW." He spat, shoving his face away before leaving you nearly breathless in the halls.
