Fire and Brimstone

(A/n)
Warning for this chapter, it'll have some themes of sexual assault! If you aren't comfortable with reading that, skip over the parts contained within this  ****

Some important parts may be missed by doing so but nothing detrimental to the story as a whole, just to this Scratchmen portion.

Uncomfortable didn't begin to describe your situation. But you were adjusting to it well. You weren't quite sure how much time had passed as you were stuck in a room with no windows or clocks. Something told you it'd been a few days at least though.

At best, you were in a constant state of discomfort. At worst, well, you were in a lot of pain, simply put. When you'd woken up from being drugged, you were in different clothes, an old baggy tee and shorts that didn't fit quite right. A seastone bracelet was clamped around your wrist, keeping your abilities at bay and you had no way of escape. At least no obvious route.

The room you were in was bare, consisting of four, dirtied off-white walls and concrete flooring. An old bed was set up against a wall and a single metal chair was placed directly in the middle of everything. If you wanted a bathroom break, you had to ask whoever was standing guard outside the room, past the heavy door that was always locked up tight. It was humiliating, but things could be worse. They could've just gave you a bucket.

Apoo stopped by often and it didn't take you long to figure out his visits were never good. They'd always start out with him dragging the chair over to sit by the bed. He'd take the chair and let you have the only other surface. In retaliation, you'd take the floor. It was a serious downgrade and left you craning your neck to look up at him on the rare occasion that you chose to meet his eyes, but it also aggravated him to no end. That was a win in your book.

He'd try to start with pleasantries that quickly changed to him asking questions you refused to answer. Sometimes it was met with violence, other times he'd drug you up again in hopes that you'd let things slip. Lucky for you, you'd found a way to talk without actually saying anything important until the drugs kicked in to the point that you couldn't speak at all. You didn't care what he did to you, he wasn't going to get you to talk.

You found yourself waking up again, not knowing what day or time it was and let out a small groan. Every joint ached and all the small cuts and bruises that had begun to accumulate on your body complained as you got up and stretched. Had to limber up before getting the shit knocked out of you again. And then you got back to what you'd been working on since coming here; trying to get the seastone bracelet off.

It was simple and you were sure you could get it off with enough effort. On one end of it, there was a lock. With the right key, it could snap right open. But you were sure Apoo had that hidden away somewhere. You didn't need it though. The opposite end of the bracelet was where it hinged and while the offensive piece of jewelry was made from seastone, not all of it was. The parts that held it together were a different material altogether and you'd been working on pulling them out of the hinge almost nonstop.

Of course every time Apoo came by, you stopped fiddling with it. He didn't need to know what you were up to. That'd ruin your chances of getting it off. And while you were sure Kid and Killer were trying to find you, you weren't going to count on them as your primary escape plan. Being with a crew was still new to you and you've had plenty of practice getting out of sticky situations in the past. Though none of them were ever as extreme as this one, you were sure you could still handle it.

Once you had stretched enough that you didn't ache quite as bad, you settled into a corner of the room, leaning against the wall as you stared at the door. The second it'd open, you'd just look ready for whatever punishment Apoo would have in store for you. Not suspicious at all. It also took a lot of energy to do anything with the seastone around your wrist and the position made it so you didn't have to work so hard to stay upright. The stretching always left you feeling drained but you felt it was still important to do.

You twisted the bracelet around and started picking at the hinge. The silvery metal that glinted back at you teasingly was beginning to give. It was dented in the few places you could see it and didn't set right in it's spot anymore. You'd been working at it with your fingers and teeth constantly and now you had hope that it'd pay off soon.

After fighting with it for a short while, there was a click as the door started to swing open. You quickly dropped your hands and glared at Apoo as he walked in. He smiled back as he swung the chair around to face you and took a seat.

"Good to see you still have the energy to be up and moving on your own." He noted. "Feel like telling me some important details today?"

You kept your mouth shut and focused on staring at the corner of the bed. The frame was made with a thick metal. If you hit it hard enough and in the right spot, it might be tough enough to break the bracelet. That would be worth looking into when Apoo left.

"Hmmm, your silence says no but we'll give it a shot anyway, just in case you change your mind." He hummed a short tune to himself before starting. "Where's the Kid gang hideout?"

As if you'd tell him that.

"No? Okay, then what is Kid planning?"

Not much these days as he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he didn't need to know that either.

"How about telling me the details of your abilities?"

You'd rather show him. One crispy fried asshole coming right up.

He sighed. "You don't make things easy (Y/n)."

Finally, your eyes drifted to him. "Don't call me by my name."

"Really? Is that all you're going to say?"

Yep, you had nothing else for him.

"This is all harder than it needs to be." He said with a shrug. "If you won't talk, I'll have to step things up."

****

That made you start to worry. He'd been aggressive since he's brought you here. If things were going to get worse, you were set to be in for a world of hurt.

"I can beat you up all I want but that doesn't seem to get you talking and it does nothing but leave you covered in marks. And that's a real shame." He stared at you wistfully.

He'd been watching you like that more and more often as the days went. You figured your body being marred and not having the chance to actually clean yourself would make you less desirable. Apparently that assumption was wrong.

"So I'll be giving you a new set of choices today. Either you answer my questions honestly and we get some progress happening, or I'll get my fun in with you."

The color drained from your face. He was grinning away, like he hadn't just casually suggested rape as the new means of torture. The last thing you wanted to do was let him get his kicks in with you. But giving up the gang wasn't something you could do either.

"You've got one minute to make your decision." He cooed. "Either way, I think we'll be one step closer to making you into a good little dragon."

You chewed at your bottom lip. What would Killer do? That was something you were asking yourself more and more often these days. Always when you were by yourself. Of course he'd suggest giving him and the gang up simply because he didn't want another man touching you, but that wouldn't feel right. Giving up the safety of those you cared about for the sake of not dirtying yourself was never something you'd consider.

"C'mon (Y/n), is it really such a hard choice?"

"Stop calling me that." You glared at him before averting your eyes once again as you thought.

"Time's up. What's your answer?"

"Go fuck yourself." You snarled.

"No." His smile from earlier widened with glee. "I'd rather fuck you."

He stood abruptly and you moved along the wall in response, getting away from the corner to allow yourself room to move. Apoo could try forcing himself on you, but you wouldn't let it happen without a fight. As he marched up to you confidently, you were trying to find a way to hurt him. With him in here, you had a chance to escape. If you could kick his ass that was.

When he grabbed for your arm, you covered your other in haki as best you could and swung at him.

"Is that the best you've got?" He chuckled as he swatted your fist to the side and punched you in the stomach instead.

The hit made you double over in pain as you tried to not throw up. With you distracted and trying to recover, he picked you up and tossed you to the bed like a ragdoll. Your breath came in gasps as you rolled over, trying to get back on your feet before he reached you. Too bad the room wasn't all that big. In a few strides, he was there and had pushed you onto your back.

"Struggle all you want, you're mine." He smiled down at you maliciously and straddled your thighs.

You spat in his face as your knee met his groin. His face fell and you could practically see the pain shooting up his body. With the temporary distraction, you started wiggling out from under him. If you could reach the chair, you could beat the shit out of him with it.

"Fucking bitch!" He hissed.

A hand swung around faster than you could see and whipped your head around. There was a harsh, throbbing sting on your cheek and you could feel where your teeth bit into the inner parts. The metallic taste of blood met your tongue and slowly trickled down your throat as you worked on stopping the room for spinning. He hit you hard.

"I'm going to fuck you so hard you won't be able to walk."

You tried to push against his chest to get him off of you but between the seastone and the hits you'd sustained, you didn't have much strength left in you. It did nothing but make him smirk when he realized you couldn't do anything else against him.

He reached around to a back pocket of his jeans and pulled out a pocket knife. It flicked open smoothly and he teased the hem of your shirt with it for a moment, watching your eyes go wide before he let it slip under and cut the fabric.

"Stop it! Don't touch me!" You continued to push at him to no avail.

"You know, I was thinking if you decided to talk before we got too far into this, I'd leave you alone. But I've changed my mind. You could spill on the details now and I'd still have my way with you."

Apoo worked on cutting through your shirt until it fell open completely, showing him your bare stomach and bra. He licked his lips as he inched the blade under the front of the last piece of fabric protecting your modesty. It nicked your skin as he tugged it upwards, snapping the bra apart. The knife was folded back up and shoved in the pocket it came from. His hands fell to your breasts, kneading them roughly enough for you to wince and squirm.

"They're going to ruin you." Your voice shook with emotion. He was touching you in places only Killer should have been able to. "And I can't wait for that."

"They can't find us sweetheart and even if they did, what's one shitty gang going to do to me when I have you?"

He grabbed for your shorts and started yanking them down your hips. You cursed the fact that they were so loose as you tried to grab his hands and move them away. It didn't stop him.

A desperate cry left you as he felt down to your most personal parts. He had no right to touch you like that and it made you feel hopeless. But under that, it made you furious. There was one last thing you could try and you planned on doing everything you could to make it work. Anything to keep him from doing anything else to you.

When he had averted his focus to undoing his own jeans, you found your chance. You twisted your upper half around and grasped at the edge of the bed as you swung your arm around with all your remaining strength and slammed your wrist against the metal frame.

Pain shot up your arm from the impact but you also felt a surge of energy. The bracelet clattered to the ground, broken and now harmless.

****

Apoo stopped all his movements and stared down at the bracelet on the ground as he started to understand what it meant. You were free to use your devil fruit and he was in for in a world of hurt.

A terrifying snarl left you as you shifted under him, sending him tumbling to the ground. Changing into the dragon had never felt so liberating. Feathers moved under your skin and broke through to cover you as you grew larger. The bed collapsed under your weight and you clawed the concrete floors with your talons, gouging into the once smooth surface.

Soon enough, the room wasn't big enough to accommodate you. Your body strained and pushed against the ceiling until it cracked from the force of your shift. With one big heave, it shattered and crumbled to your feet. Apoo was somewhere under you and he let out a yelp as the building started to tumble around you. Sunlight burst into the room as you shoved your newly sprouted wings out into the fresh, afternoon air.

The sun hung high in the sky and as you allowed yourself a moment to look around, you found you were on the outskirts of the city. The beach was in the distance, along with the apartment you hoped everyone was at.

There was the jolting sound of...drums that drew your attention back down to your feet. In the second that you caught sight of Apoo standing in front of you, there was a blast that hit you square in the chest. It sent you stumbling back and it managed to scatter loose feathers, but it didn't little else. You growled at the man who'd sent the attack in your direction and opened your mouth.

Fuel spilled out of your throat and fell to the ground in molten drops as it caught fire. He was about to learn why no one messed with you. A rumble built up in your chest before coming out as an ear splitting scream. Fire flew with it, catching the building alight. You were taking it all down.

"You're more trouble than you're worth!" Apoo shouted up at you.

He was caught off guard when your tail snapped around his legs and whipped him into the air. You gave him a few good shakes before flinging him into one of the walls that was still standing. Apoo was quick enough to coat himself in a layer of haki as he hit the wall, cracking the surface and falling to the ground with minimal damage.

You burned with rage at what he'd gotten away with but the logical side said you needed to keep him in one piece. There was still information to gather from him. But nothing was stopping you from roughing him up a little.

For a moment, you focused on spitting more flames at the building, fully intent on turning it to rubble, as he stumbled back to his feet. In your current state, he was more annoying than a threat, there was no worry of him hurting you anymore. You pulled yourself up onto the roof and it immediately collapsed under your weight. Fires roared and licked the sky, greedy for the extra puff of air that was sent their way.

Another explosion hit your body. You were getting tired of Apoo. He glared up at you until you swung around and slammed a claw down and pinned him with it. The second he opened his mouth to say something, you snarled and showed your teeth, promptly shutting him up.

You applied pressure to the claw, slowly crushing him under your weight. He let out gasps, desperate for air as his eyes widened and he struggled to free his arms. There was the fleeting thought that you could do something you'd never really considered before and actually kill him. It'd be so easy. But you were better than that.

Apoo had infuriated you more than any other person ever had. He'd done things that you were sure would have gotten him killed by anyone else. But you wouldn't go that far. When he'd slumped over from lack of oxygen and passed out, you released him. This could hardly have been considered a fight. At least it was done.

The building was in ruins and by all accounts, Scratchmen Apoo was under your control. Now it was time to get him back to the alliance. They could deal with him. You had no doubt that Kid would make him wish he'd never joined the gang scene.

(A/n)
I made this chapter longer since some people might miss out on a good chunk of it if they needed to skip the assault scene. Also, was originally planning on working on From One World to Another but got excited to write more of this. That may continue to be the case for another couple days~
