Dear Denki Kaminari,
There's no need to apologise, after all, you weren't to know that I would be the one receiving the letter. Again, I'm sorry to have read it when it was not my place to do so. I understand, it wasn't your fault that the letter ended up in my possession, but it was my fault that I chose to read it. Once again, I'm sorry.
I can't say I remember him well. After all, as you mentioned, I did only recently move into said class, I'm yet to learn the names of many of my new classmates, but if you hold him in such regard, I regret not approaching him. Though, I may comment he must be very lucky. To be loved and held so highly by someone is truly special. In fact, the way you speak about him rather reminds me of my own friend, Izuku. He too is someone I've felt I could connect with spiritually, in a way I have with no one else. It's always wonderful to feel that there truly is someone who understands you. But I digress, that was far too emotional.
I'm surprised you don't think more highly of yourself. If that confession letter should say anything about your character, I would say it's one to be far more proud of. Don't disservice yourself like that. As I said, it was a wonderful letter, and a joy to read. Hold yourself with a bit more pride.
In fact, if I weren't so conscious of seeming rude or creepy, I would have gladly kept the letter to myself. Though, of course, I wouldn't like to keep your friend waiting for it or put any extra strain between the two of you, so I'd be glad to send it back. However, I do have one condition for sending the letter back, if you would oblige.
I would like to be able to continue sharing letters with you. I understand that may seem like a strange request, but my sister Fuyumi has been particularly pleased that I have a 'pen pal' now, as she put it. Of course, I did not tell her of the confession letter, but I would greatly appreciate it if we could continue this arrangement. Of course, if this okay with you, that is.
One more condition. Please, don't ever write to me in blue ink again, it's practically a crime.
Yours sincerely, head of the anti-blue-ink committee,
Shoto Todoroki.
