167 years after the dance of the dragons concluded .

APPROXIMATELY ten years after the death of the old , righteous king raendaerys i and the crowning of his son , baegor i , aegon the conqueror and his sister-wives , rhaenys and visenya , struck westeros with their enormously large beasts that they called 'dragons' , which in return sent the infamous valyrian house toruk into a panicked frenzy .

house targaryen of dragonstone had slaughtered nearly everyone in king's landing , including the youngest sister of baegor i and saelara , lady rhaesa . she was oft referred to as "the wife of naught" or "lady loner" . this was because of her strict hatred towards the idea of marriage and love , but nobody could warm the heart of the blonde-haired beauty better than her dragon , rainol .

         rhaesa died two years before the conquest finished at the hands of aegon i targaryen . he had offered the poor girl to his coal-coloured , red-eyed , dragon , balerion . it only took one heartbeat for the black dread to in-cage rhaesa around the jaws of his mouth and swallow her whole . her eldest sister , saelara , had to witness the agonising sight , which sent her to madness . after fleeing the city and flying to driftmark for her husband's ( lord jacaegor velaryon ) support on her own dragon , moonfyre , she began plotting her revenge .

         in the meantime , baegor would try and start his own empire again further up north , where he would eventually secure a spot between house arryn and house tully . the capital would be named "dragon lakeshore" , and was surrounded by a vast area of flower fields , rivers , streams , and a forest so extensive it would be able to reach white harbour all the way down to harrenhal .

         saelara would soon take part in the bloodiest battle in westeros , the battle for the keep . around 28 years after the conquest , former queen consort chrysha dayne , the widow of raendaerys i , was captured , brutalised , and killed during the siege . an hour after the invasion begun , visenya targaryen returned to king's landing on her dragon , vhagar , in an attempt to stop her from causing any more harm . visenya , being the mighty warrior she is , allowed vhagar to tear saelara and moonfyre to shreds .

        centuries afterwards would follow more tremendous wars including "the dance of the dragons" with rhaenyra targaryen and aegon ii targaryen . one that the house is noted for the most is the famous "battle of the vale" when the toruk's went to war with the arryn's for more landspace in 119 AC . it was no surprise that house toruk won the conflict two years after .

       king aegar i toruk and his men were quick to find an enormous abandoned castle that was previously in house arryn territory , and afterwards was put into reconstruction . it was soon named "the dragon keep" . they noticed that the name "dragon lakeshore" had became outdated aswell , and chose to honor the lord commander who led the battle of the vale , elrin wynch , by renaming it to "elrin springs" .

        the dragon keep was said to of been built over an old gold mine after much investigating . this was able to cover the costs of building a new defense line around the city and exporting and importing food for citizens .

      another construction piece joined during the process of the dragon keep being built . this project would be called "the golden gate" . it was an extremely large and heavy door made of granite which was used as an entrance way to the mines . guards would patrol the area at every hour of the day to keep any suspected thieves or unwanted criminals out .

247 YEARS after conquest , the coronation of dylar i toruk was held on the 10th day of the ninth moon . dylar i was known as "the gifted" king for his natural ability at ruling . he'd spend his days on the throne of lilies , listening to the citizens of elrin springs complain about the cattle not providing enough milk or the sheep not listening to the farmers . on other days he'd visit the neatly maintained children hospitals around the city , or donate to those in need .

dylar married aymee of house lakeshore just a few years after his crowning . house lakeshore is one of the very few houses sworn to house toruk , and have been so since the very end of maegor i targaryen's reign . soon after dylar and aymee consummated the marriage , the queen consort would quickly become with child , thus resulting in the birth of haela iii toruk .

on the princess's eighteenth nameday , they received word from the capital after her father travelled south to meet with the mad king , aerys ii targaryen , in king's landing . the letter contained the execution of dylar i by the king's orders . he was burnt alive for his "treasonous crimes" against the crown in 267 AC . the death of the gifted king , dylar i , shook the entire nation of house toruk . but no more than the state that it left his wife and daughter in once they heard the news . haela would ascend the throne a few days afterwards as dylar's only heir and the third queen to rule over the meadow and the springs . she married lord aemon bolton a few months later .

after ser jamie lannister , the king's guard , killed aerys by driving a sword through his back in 283 AC , robert of house baratheon was crowned the new king of the seven kingdoms and protector of the realm . after the sacking of king's landing from robert's successful attempt to overthrow the mad king , the targaryen children of aerys ii and his sister-wife , rhaella targaryen , seemed to of disappeared . viserys , delaessa , and their infant sister , daenerys targaryen , were all presumed dead . the realm was at peace for the first time in twenty years .

a band of people from the meadow caused riots in the streets of king's landing during the second year of robert's reign . the rebels would chant the word "usurper" in honour of the great ruler , haela . it's true that she should've been the one to receive the iron throne after aerys , not robert , but the spring queen did not ask this of the rioters in the first place . and when called upon by the baratheon after seizing the criminals , haela fed him nothing but the truth .

" i've had no previous interest for the throne in the past , so why is it that i would have one now that you've managed to steal it from under the feet of an old heretic and butcher his children , and his grandchildren after him ? " she told the king . robert was spiteful at how calm she was throughout the situation , but still sent her away with a pardon . he hung the group of people after their trial concluded and was found guilty .

HOUSE TORUK , All for the Motherland  .

old valyria .

IT IS SAID that though house toruk is from old valyria , they never produced the valyrian genes or features ; such as , ghostly pale hair , fair skin or purple eyes . this made them come off as ordinary compared to velaryons and targaryens . however , they are known for being one of the more fiercer and relentless houses . it's possible that this could be from the blood of the first men that runs through their veins through other northerner houses marrying into their ancestry line and breeding .

      maelora springborn of houses toruk and bolton , first of her name , was born on the fourteenth day of the fourth moon . 280 years after the conquest concluded , and 3 years before the death of the mad king .

when maelora was four years of age , her mother gave birth to another girl on the twenty-second day of the sixth moon , viseraya goldborn of houses toruk and bolton , first of her name .

           unfortunately when the two were just twelve , maelora being the oldest , and eight , viseraya being the youngest , their father passed away during a hunting accident . whilst patrolling the woods of elaehra oaks for some boar , prince consort aemon bolton came across a pack of starving wolves , which would result in his limbs being torn from his body as the beasts feasted from it .

            the eldest daughter felt little to no remorse for what happened to her father , unlike her mother and sister . not too long after , the family received word from the iron islands of a dragon egg excavated deep from within a cave . maelora was finally gifted the egg when she was ten-and-four years old after much examination and incubating , surprisingly naming it after her late father , aemon .

            viseraya received her dragon egg from a cave in white harbour , in which it hatched on her twelfth nameday . She declared her dragon to be called nearmor .
