Chapter 3:

    "Zeke!" screams Tris. "Beatrice, it's okay! I'm not going to hurt you." says Jeanine. "Get away from us! What makes you think we would ever trust you again?!?" yells Tris.

    "I know I've done some very bad things in the future, but I'm trying to change." says Jeanine. "So all of a sudden you want to care for us? Last time I checked you were the one who killed the people who did care!" says Christina.

Zeke clutches Natalie. "I just want to see how Natalie's doing. I don't mean any harm." says Jeanine. Marlene hands William to Christina. Marlene clutches the gun in her holster clipped to her belt.

    "Fine," says Tris. Zeke walks slowly to Jeanine and Jeanine smiles. "Hi Natalie!" she says and sticks her finger out, and Natalie clutches it.

    "She looks just like you Beatrice." says Jeanine. "Thank you." Tris spits. "May I hold her?" says Jeanine. "No, you better be glad you even got to touch her." says Zeke as he tugs her away from Jeanine.

    "Please, I've never held a child." says Jeanine. Marlene draws her gun at Jeanine. "You have five seconds to get out, or I'll shoot." says Marlene.

    "Marlene, don't make me draw my back-up." says Jeanine. Just as Jeanine says "up" 6 men walk into the hospital room and each point their guns at Marlene.

Christina sets William on the bed. "Don't make me draw my back-up." says Uriah. Just at that, Shauna, Zeke, Uriah, Christina, Will, and Tris draw their guns.

Tobias giggles, and says, "Pew pew pew, I gots a guuun tooo!" "Where did you get those guns? The Amity are suppossed to confiscate any article of weapons!" says Jeanine.

    "We're Dauntless, we carry guns everywhere." says Tris. "5...." says Marlene. Marlene has her gun fixed on Jeanine. "4...." says Marlene. Zeke, Shauna, Marlene, Uriah, Christina, Will, and Tris all have their guns fixed on one man each. "3...." says Marlene. You can hear all the bullets clicking into the chamber. "2...." says Marlene. "1!" says all of them.

They all shoot before the men do. But, they aren't bullets. It's capsuled memory serum. The men were going to shoot, but forgot why so they didn't. The memory serum was powdered, so you couldn't see them get away.

Zeke, Shauna, and Will jumped out of the window with Natalie. Christina and Marlene helped get Tris in a wheel chair and ran out the back door with William. And Uriah grabbed Tobias and ran past the guards, and out the door.

Zeke, Shauna, Will, and Natalie landed on the stacked meditating mats, Christina, Marlene and Tris left the hospital, and met with Uriah and Tobias.

    "Is Natalie okay?" Tris says as she takes Natalie from Zeke. "Yeah she's fine. She's got a Dauntless thick skull!" says Uriah. Everybody laughs. "Skuuulls are hard! But mine is soft, like a kitten!" says Tobias.

    "How long has he been under that crap?" says Shauna. "Oh, about an hour." says Will as he checks his watch. "You were keeping time?" says Marlene. "Well, yeah 'cus I wanted to study how long the peace serum lasts." says Will.

    "*fake coughs* NOSE" says Christina. "Hey! You married me!" says Will. "That's exactly why I love you." says Christina.

Will grabs Christina by the hips and presses his lips to hers. "Oh by the way it lasts about 5 hours, depending if they gave you too much. Like they did with me." says Tris. "Don't ruin it." says Will through smacking.

    "Excuse me, there are children present!" says Uriah as he points to William and Tobias. Christina and Will continue to swallow each other, while everybody else laughs. "What children?" says Tobias as he looks around wildly. "You! You moron.." says Zeke.

All of a sudden guards are running down the street after them. "Crap." says Tris. Marlene runs over, and picks Tris up out of her wheel chair and sets her down. "Ow my-" Tris yells. "Shhhh!!!" says Marlene.

    "Uri, help me!" says Marlene as she tries to get Tobias in the wheel chair. He runs over and helps her. Then, puts Tris on top of Tobias and wheels them down the street. "Tris, I know this is stupid..." says Zeke between breathes. "....but my arms are kind of tired." says Zeke as he runs next to the wheel chair and hands Natalie to Tris.

    "It's fine." says Tris. "I can't believe we are running the streets...." begins Christina between breathes.".....with a temporarily disabled 21 year old....." says Christina as they turn a corner. "......in a wheel chair with his wife and newborn baby." says Christina.

    "Me either. William's kind of heavy." says Shauna. "Sorry! That's the Dauntless cake!" says Will as Shauna hands him over to him. "Does anybody have a real gun?" says Tris. "Nope!" they all say. "Great, now what!?" says Marlene.

    "Turn over there! I thinks it's an abondoned hotel!" says Will. "How do you know that?" says Shauna. "I studied a map of the faction compounds!" says Will. "Nose!" says Tris. "Just TURN!" says Will.

Everybody turns and sees the hotel. "Hurry, they're gonna see us!" says Zeke. Marlene pushes The Eatons into the hotel, and everybody runs in after them.

    "Gosh, I'm surprised Natalie doesn't have brain damage yet or something!" says Christina. "Ha ha! Very funny!" says Tris as she cradles Natalie. "Tobias, Tris, and Natalie in one room. Will, William and I in another. Zeke and Shauna in one, and Marlene and Uriah in one." says Christina. "Well duh, who wants to see Tris breast feed?" says Marlene.

    "Don't raise your hands any of you!" says Shauna. "I've already seen breast feeding, it's not that big a deal." says Will. "Really, do I need to say some of the jokes you cracked when I was breast feeding?" says Christina.

    "No!!!" says Will. "Okay then."says Christina. Marlene wheels them off down a long hallway, and opens a door. "Well, there's a king sized bed, and a crib. All you guys need. Bye now!" Marlene says as she starts towards the door.

    "Nope, come help us out!" says Tris. "Fine." says Marlene. Marlene picks Natalie up and puts her in the crib, and then lays Tris on the bed. "Noooo! I don't want to take a nap Marleeene!" says Tobias. "You're not! You're just resting with your wife you big baby!" says Marlene as she drags him out and up into the bed next to Tris.

    "Need anything? Water, diapers, baby clothes, anything?" says Marlene. "All of the above actually." says Tris. "Okay, I'll have Uriah check the place for it. Will says this place has only been abandoned for about 2 weeks." says Marlene. "Okay, thank you." says Tris.

    "Yeah, I probably should've gotten Uri to carry ya'll around. Pregnant women don't need to do this!" says Marlene as she pats her belly. "I had a baby, and I'm a maaaan!" says Tobias. "I'll ask Uri if he can find some sleepy-bye-time medicine for the little one." says Marlene as she winks. "Okay." Tris says as she laughs.

Marlene walks off and it's just Tris, Tobias, and sleeping Natalie. "We need to get back home soon. I have everything at home all ready for Natalie and her first night with us is gonna be spent in some abandoned hotel." says Tris as she covers her face with her hands.

    "Hey, you have nice lips, can I kiss you?" says Tobias. "Leave me alone, Tobias." says Tris. "Come on just a little one!" says Tobias as he hovers over her with his full body. "Get off of me!" says Tris as she pushes Tobias off of her. "That felt good, do it again!" says Tobias. "NO!" says Tris. "Ooohh, your voice is so nice, especially when you're annngryyy." says Tobias.

    "Shut up." Tris snaps. "Gosshhh, you are hottt! So angry and hottt! Like fi-yur! You are the flames to my gasoline!" says Tobias. "Yeah, that makes an EXPLOSION!" yells Tris. "I like that!" says Tobias as he hovers over Tris again, and kisses her neck. "Get OFF OF ME NOW!" Tris yells.

    "Fiest-ayyyy!!!" says Tobias. He continues to kiss her neck. This time Tris pushes him off the edge of the bed. "Woooahhh!! That huurt!" says Tobias as he rubs his shoulder. He gets up and kisses Tris. But this time Tris kisses back.

Tobias takes Tris' face in his hands,and kisses her harder. Tris stops, and rolls to the other side of the bed, and buries her face in the pillow. Her voice is muffled but can still be understood. "I don't want to do...that with you if you're under something, and don't even realize it!" says Tris muffled by the pillow.

    "Whaaat? Come on flames!" says Tobias. "It's Tris!!!" says Tris. "Trissshhhh, commme onnn!" says Tobias. "TRIS! SSSS NOT SHHHH!" yells Tris.

Tobias lays down next to her, and sets his hand on her waist. "I know your name, Tris." says Tobias. Tris turns around and looks at him. "Are you back?" says Tris. She checks the clock. Natalie was born at 11:36.

Tobias was injected at about 12:00. It's 2:07. "I guess so!" says Tobias. "2 hours and seven minutes!" says Tris. "What?" says Tobias. "That's how long you were under!" says Tris. "I'm sorry If I said anything stupid or hurtful!" says Tobias.

    "Mostly stupid." says Tris and kisses him. "I love you, you know that right?" says Tobias. "I will always know even when you talk about being pregnant." says Tris.

    "What?" says Tobias. Tris kisses him again, and they fall asleep in each other's arms.

Marlene came in multiple times to feed Natalie, change her diaper, dress her, played with her, and put her to sleep.

Tobias woke up first, stared down at Tris in his arms and looked over at Natalie. Tobias gets up, and walks over to Natalie and picks her up. Natalie is still sleeping in his arms, and notices that she's dressed and in a diaper with a pacifier in her mouth.

He kisses her between the eye brows just like he does with Tris, and gently sets her down. Tobias opens the door, walks down the hall, and into the hotel lobby. Zeke and Marlene are behind the desk searching through the cabinets for baby items.

    "Who dressed up Natalie and put her in a diaper?" says Tobias. "MARLENE!!" Zeke shouts. "I did, I found some old baby clothes in the laundry room and washed them so, I put them on Natalie. Plus they were super cute! And Zeke found some baby wipes and diapers in the hotel shop." says Marlene.

Tobias smiles and says, "Thanks guys. You have no idea how much you've helped. You dealt with me when I acted like a total idiot, took care of Tris and Natalie while I was out. If I didn't know better, I'd say you've got a little Abnegation in you!" says Tobias.

    "Woah! First, your welcome! Second, that was just family helping family, we are not Stiffs!" says Zeke. "Family?" says Tobias. "Yeah, family! Dude, we're like brothers!" says Zeke as he slaps Tobias on the back.

    "And sisters!" say Marlene as she tosses a box backwards. "Thanks guys, again. I'm gonna go check outside for guards, will someone please go check on Tris and Natalie?" says Tobias."I will!" Marlene says as she drops a box and darts down the hall.

    "Okay then..." says Zeke. Marlene knocks lightly on the door and walks in. "Hey my little Natalie! Are you awake?" says Marlene as she walks over and picks up Natalie.

Tris wakes up and smiles as she watches Marlene pick up Natalie. "You're going to be a great mother." says Tris. Marlene smiles and says, "You think so?" "Yeah, you're great with Natalie! Without a doubt you'll be great with Mariah." says Tris.

    "Thanks." says Marlene. Tris sits up in the bed, and says, "Where's Tobias?" as she yawns. "He went outside to check for guards," says Marlene as she cradles Natalie.

Tris looks at the time and finds that it is 3:27. "We need to leave, it's just a matter of time before the men find us."says Tris as she stands up, and Marlene hands Tris Natalie. Tris pulls down the collar of her shirt, and begins to breast feed Natalie.

Marlene hands her a baby blanket to cover her up. Tris walks with Natalie and Marlene down the hall where everybody else is waiting. "We've been waiting for you guys forever! Four just checked, and the streets are clear. We're gonna sneak through the streets, and catch the train that comes in an hour! Chop chop! Let's go!" says Shauna.

    "So, how's Natalie doing?" asks Uriah. "Um, well she's okay, I guess." Tris says. "Ha ha, very funny!" Christina says smirking at Uriah. Christina grabs Tris' arm and pulls her away from the boys.

    "You can't do that in front of them." says Christina. "Why?" says Tris. "They're boys! No matter how old they get, they'll always fantasize about- you know." says Christina.

    "Ohhh! Okay." says Tris. "I made that mistake of doing that around other boys at the Dauntless Cafeteria." says Christina. "I remember that." says Tris.

Tris stops it, and gives Marlene the blanket back. "Alright, let's head home!" says Zeke.

Hey Guys! I know, this was a really long chapter! But, I know you wanted to know what really happened to Natalie, so I decided to just make a really long chapter rather than have to divide it into chapters. Sorry for the weird breast feeding part, it felt kind of awkward for me to write that part. I'm working on Chapter Four! Yes, this is when Natalie is twelve now! :)
