I would like to thank all of my wonderful, beautiful, and amazing initiates. (Readers) If it weren't for any of you crazy fangirls (and maybe fanboys, I don't know) I probably wouldn't have even wrote the second chapter. Motivation, is what they call it. Yeah, you guys were my motivation.

    I came up with the idea of Blue Flames while I was in the shower. I had still been grieving over the ending of Allegiant, and I just couldn't accept the ending. So I made my own. While I was washing my hair, I suddenly got the idea of Natalie Eaton.

    At first, she was just an idea. But I had remembered that I had a Wattpad account with no stories whatsoever. I had jumped out of the shower, and started. Believe it or not, I never even planned the story. I had just written idea after idea as I typed.

    When I read my finished chapters, I realize that I made her (kinda) look like me. Tobias' dark brown hair + Tris' blonde hair = chocolate brown hair. Tobias' dark blue eyes + Tris' blue gray eyes = bright blue eyes. Well, I have long, brown hair but not blue eyes. 

    I thought the idea of her flameshooting was kind of weird at first, but after I slowly saw how much of a rebellious girl it made her, I learned to love it. I am a HUGE fan of the T.V. show, Castle, and I wanted to make Natalie and Tobias' father-daughter relationship a lot like Alexis' and Castle's father-daughter relationship.

    After reading all of the comments on each chapter that I wrote, it made me want to write more and more for you guys. I have never realized how amazing it feels to have people love my work of writing. I thought this book would be nothing more than just some other Divergent fanfic, but once I saw how many people loved it I just felt so freaking awesome.

    I have loved writing this fanfic for you guys, it has been an amazing experience for me! I will always appreciate every single one of you because you kept me writing this even when I thought this story was really crappy!

    I may be some fangirl sitting behind a screen, writing this (Okay, this is kind of creepy) but I am glad that I got to be your author, and you got to be my readers. Can I tell you a secret? I'm twelve years old, just like Natalie. (That was random, but okayyyy...)
