prologue
A three year old Sirius Black was seated by the shore at the beach. His baby brother Regulus was annoying him by poking him repeatedly. A nearby family was playing jovially. Sirius wished dearly for that: he turned over on his side to write his name in the sand, when he heard a bloodcurdling scream of help.

I do NOT own any of the beautiful J.K Rowling's characters, places or spells. However, OCs and plotlines are mine.

A little feature from when Delta was eleven:
~
The sky pillowing past was an absolute must see for Delta Admon. The horrific past she had tucked away in her brain made it hard to concentrate mostly, so she just stared out of her bedroom window. Birds flew past freely: Delta wished to be one. She wished she was free from the horrors.
The doorbell rang. Delta didn't give even a look, until her uncle's voice rang through the small house.
"Delta? Love, look what I've got!" Her heart skipped a beat. Surely not? No, of course not. She knew never to get her hopes up. Delta had been expecting her Hogwarts letter, but a filthy halfbreed couldn't possibly be accepted. Her father, a centaur had lived in the Forbidden Forest once, for he was not accepted. So, of course, that made Delta and her brother Caspian three quarters centaur, as their mother was just a half a centaur and a witch.
Her uncle handed her the pristine letter to her carefully, as if something alive was inside. "Look at it," he beamed.
She turned the letter over, hear heart beating fast. The Hogwarts crest was stamped on the red tab holding the letter closed. Delta gasped and fell into her uncles arms.
