an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.

Glaring at her phone, Pacifica put it down, infuriated with the boys behaviour. He drove her mad, and for some peculiar reason, she didn't mind it as much as she thought she would.

Sighing, she massaged her forehead. The door to her dorm room burst open, Pacifica whipped her head only to see Al, Gideon and Alexandria panting at the door. More like Gideon and Alexandria dying for breaths while Al just stood there, rolling his eyes.

"Let's go on an adventure!" whisper-yelled Alexandria at Pacfica once she caught her breath, her eyes gleaming mischief.

"I tried to reason with her. She wanted to go out at this time, and for a bloody adventure, will you believe that?" said Al through an exasperated sigh.

"It is quite reasonable, I mean, nobody will be out at this time!" said Gideon, thinking about it for a minute.

     "Exactly!" nodded Alexandria.

"It's 2 in the morning, what the frick frack guys? And why does it have to do with me?" groaned Pacifica, the thought of sleep running away. She turned around to grab a bag just in case.

"Come on!" whined Alexandria, grabbing her arm and storming her way out of the school, with Al and Gideon in tow. "Let's go into the forest!"

"Classic choice, Alexandria, especially since it's forbidden," said Al sarcastically as they all walked their way to the nearing forest. Alexandria simply nodded happily, skipping her way to the daunting, DARK and horrible forest.

"Have you never read, or watched Harry Potter?" grumbled Pacifica. Alexandria, again, simply shook her head. "You've just lost like, a bajillion friendship points."

"Okay, so, let's split up so if one of us finds something interesting, we message each other, okay? Take pictures, and selfies!" giggled Alexandria.

"I thought you were going to make us light up flares," scoffed Pacifica. Gideon nodded, while Al just sighed.

"I did think about that, but then I don't think Dipper Gleeful would appreciate that, you know, cause he never sleeps!" laughed Alexandria and then took off the other way. Pacifica's eyes widened and stared at Al, he just shrugged and walked into the forest.

"Gideon, did you hear that? GIDEON? NO, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE AGAINST THIS IDEA!" whisper-yelled Pacifica to Gideon while he walked away, whistling happily.

"Why do I even bother," sighed Pacifica, putting the flash of her phone on and walking into the forest.

Leaves crunching underneath her shoes, she walked further into the dark, gloomy forest. The tall trees seemed to be frown at her, their branches leaning to touch her hair. Heart thundering, she walked faster. What were they even looking for here?

Pacifica heard owls hooting, wings flapping, and swooping. Probably to kill a mouse. Fear crept up her like a snake, slowly tightening around her throat. Sweat began collecting at her forehead. She didn't know why she was so scared. So scared of the dark.

Think happy thoughts, she thought to herself. A picture of a familiar dark haired - NO, NOT HIM! HE'S NOT GOOD! AGH!

Because of her internal battle, she bumps into a tree. Rubbing her forehead, she touched the tree again. It felt too smooth for bark, for a wild tree. Knocking on it, she heard a hollow sound. Curiosity piquing her, she felt around it for some sort of opening with her nails.

Good thing I grew them, she thought to herself.

Grunting as she finally opened it, a small little compartment was in the tree. Metallic tree, she guessed. Reaching for her phone, she angled it in a way for the light to drench everything. A little metallic box with two switches.

What the heck? She thought, turning one. Nothing happened. She switched the other one, only to hear a creaking. Heart racing, her eyes flashed around her, pointing her phone everywhere to see anything. That was until she saw the freaking ground itself opening.

Breathing heavily, she kneeled and looked inside the trapdoor. It was an old book. Something that looked like a journal... Gulping, she hesitantly held it between her hands, flipping through the pages, heart galloping and blood rushing up to her head.

There were... secrets in this book, about Gravity Falls and the school. Shutting the book closed, she shoved it inside the bag she brought. She didn't want to tell anybody about it... not yet.

Hands trembling, she scrolled through her contacts to find Alexandria and called her. Waiting, anxiety eating at her, she waited.

"Hey, I found nothing, should we head back?"
