After the long journey, we made it back to Magnus's castle. The man who was part of Sebastian's army tried to escape several times, but someone always caught him. Why does he even bother running? A better question is why was the tied up back at the house? We'll find out soon enough after we question him. We need more information on Sebastian to beat him. We need to find out how big his army is, how they attack, and when.

  Jace hadn't woke up, which is odd. He's alive and not in some sort of coma. Sebastian must've given him some type of drug. That must be what happened.

   We get to the castle and give our horses to the stable boy. The man is has his hands tied behind his back. He demanded to be realised, but the man taking him inside didn't say anything. "Magnus?" someone screamed out. Soon enough Magnus came down the stairs to come and meet us.

  "I'm here, Dimitri. Where's Raphael? Any casualties?"

  "About that. Raphael and Jordan both died by Sebastian's hand. The bodies are out back so you can give them a proper burial, and we got Jace Lightwood back. But we did get one of Sebastian's fools." They brought him forward and kicked he's legs from under him. "This is the king. Kneel," Dimitri hissed.

  "I see. How's Jace doing?"

  "Alive but knocked out. We believe he's drugged." Magnus nodded his head.

  "My heads of my army seem to keep dying. Dimitri, you're the new head. Don't die please. Take the prisoner down to the dungeons. His hearing will be later today. As for Jace, take him to Catarina."

  "Will do, my king." Dimitri has been the only head so far to refer to Magnus as his king. Probably because he's a serious man and he and Magnus aren't close friends like Ragnor and Raphael. Everyone else left and I followed Magnus to out chambers. When he shut the doors he kissed me. "Hey, Alec. Are you okay?"

  "Yeah. I'm fine. Anything happened while I was gone?"

  "No, not really. It's boring without you around. How was the trip."

  "Exhausting. I saw Sebastian though, and we definitely need to question that guy."

  "Why?"

  "He said the only reason why he's doing any if this is because he wanted to see how good we are. It's all a game to him, and he wants to come out on top. He wants to burn down Idris and this castle. It makes me sick."

  "Is that everything he told you?"

  "Pretty much."

  "No insults or anything?"

  "He did call me average, but it doesn't bother me. I'm used to it." My whole life I had thought if myself as average, so it doesn't mean anything. I got what I wanted I guess. To be hidden.

  "You are anything but average. Know that." He came over and kissed my forehead.

  "Thanks."

  The questioning for the man who was part of Sebastian's army is about to start. Only a few people are present. Just the people who went on the trip to the old house. The man is tied to a post. His eyes were red and tired, and he was fidgeting. "Name?" Magnus stated. The man stayed silent. "I asked, what's your name?" He still didn't say anything. You could tell that Magnus was growing impatient. "If you corporate, I might let you go." He stepped forward and starred the man down.

  "Dominic."

  "Glad to see you can speak. What part did you play in Sebastian's army?"

  "Second in command."

  "You weren't good enough to be first?"

  "Shut the fuck up."

  "Tsk tsk tsk. What did I say about cooperation. I could let you rot in the dungeons."

  "Right."

  "I'll continue. Why were you tied up a room?"

  "It wasn't supposed to happen! Sebastian betrayed me! I was the bait for you all to take me and his plan worked." He had a wicked smile on. Like someone who just commuted murder and was just waiting to be caught.

  "What do you mean?"

  "Use your brain you idiot! Sebastian to going to kill you all!"

  "When?" Magnus is staying very calm, which is odd because I don't think he deals with insane knights on a daily basis.

  "I don't know! Sebastian never gave away his plans. He's just waiting for the right time, that's all. You're all going to die in his hands."

  "How does he attack. Specific weapons or anything?"

  "What makes you think I'll tell you?"

  "I have ways of making you talk."

  "Try me."

  "Dimitri." Dimitri stepped up. Leather gloves encasing his hands. "Will you speak now?"

   "I'm not afraid of him."

   "So be it." There was some sort if silent exchange between Magnus and Dimitri, and went up to Dominic and started beating him. Kicking, punching, everything that didn't involve weapons. Damn, he could fight. Reminds me of how Jordan fought. Full power in each strike. "Stop Dimitri. Will you speak now?" His nose was bloody, and he will certainly wake up with a black eye.

  "Fine! Stealth and swords. Those are his main weapons. He'll sneak in here and kill everyone. He taught us a spot on your back that would piece the heart and injure the spine." Magnus went a but pale for a second. Most likely from the thought of every one being slaughtered.

  "Thank you for cooperating."

  "Thank you for being such a generous host. Now will you let me go or what?"

  "I never said anything about letting you go."

  "WHAT DO YOU MEAN. LET ME GO. I DESERVE TO BE FREE."

  "I really don't think you do. Dimitri, lock him up for a month, then leave him in the woods." The woods are a dark and dangerous place. The wild beasts that live there are just part of the danger.

  "YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME."

  "I can. Goodbye. Hope to never see you again." Magnus doesn't usually lock people up, it must be because Sebastian has done horrible things and Dominic was apart of them. Maybe he does deserve it. He put up a fight when being dragged out. He let out some blood curtailing screams too. I didn't even notice the blue uniform come up behind Isabelle and I. "I'm just letting you two know, Jace woke up," Catarina said.

  "Can we go see him?" Isabelle asked.

  "Of course, come with me." We followed her out the room into the infirmary. In the back Jace was sitting on a chair drinking some water. Isabelle ran up to him and gave him a big hug. He stiffened a bit, but that must've been because it was so sudden. I came up behind her. "Hey, Jace. How are you feeling?" He looked confused.

  "Who are you people?" He replied.
