Okay okay. He was like. Anubis. I didn't flat out say it but he is.

This was based off the horror flick called The Pyramid. It had like a 13% from critics but I thought it was pretty good. In fact I thought it was so good I based a book off it. If you do watch it, you'll definitely see a few parallels but it was pretty scary so idk.

So he goes into the pyramid and opens something he shouldn't by accident. Anubis like. Possesses him. And follows him around for years waiting for the perfect opportunity to regain his strength and rise to power again. His brother Wepwawet is called "the opener of ways", and is commonly associated with. Death. Literal death. Like Anubis. What do u expect. They were trapped in a pyramid for thousands of years bc they kept doing stuff like what happened in the book & they're making a comeback. They just needed a host to help them.

Breb chose the second option, in case you couldn't tell. Wepwawet took him over. But he & Dallon are like together so they're chillin. There's ur ship. There's where the Ish comes in from the title. They ended up together but not in the way u thought.

I'm also kinda ticked off bc I made this idea in MARCH and I'm glad I wrote down the basics what I wanted to have happen in each chapter but I also didn't make the tiny connections I usually do. Like in paper hearts, most numbers were 321, & that's the day it went down. If u caught it, the "They're all good people at heart" or whatever it is was also another lil connection. Little stuff like that. Looking back on it, there might be a tiny short prequel with everything everyone did to have them ded. That didn't make sense. Yknow. Help.

I also bet y'all are wondering why. Why did I do this. Am I okay.

I think so. I've always been a fan of Egyptian mythology & incorporating that into this was fun. I always thought a scary story would be an absolute blast and I was! I think I got some basics down for plot and everything & I know I should make more connections if I ever make a new horror story.

Keep an eye out for that. It might pop up in a few months.
