All the delinquents screamed and ran out of the drop ship. Everyone was laughing and running around. Bellamy smiled and then looked at his sister. Then his vision went to his sisters friend. The two were picking flowers. He found out from a couple kids that her name was Astrid Rose. All the kids he asked spoke highly of her. How she helped the non-privileged and of course, how she broke Kane's nose.

Bellamy looked at her one more time. He couldn't help but study her. She had blonde hair that went past her shoulders. She had bright blue eyes and an even more beautiful smile. Astrid Rose to him was one of the most beautiful girls he has ever seen.

He watched her and his sister carefully. He smiled when he saw Astrid take out a notebook and draw Octavia who was posing.

Astrid laughed when she saw Octavia posing.

''Octavia could you smile for me?'' she asked and laughed when she saw Octavia smile wide. Astrid started drawing. In a couple minutes she had drawn Octavia.

''That's a beautiful drawing'' a deep voice came from behind Astrid and both girls looked up to see Bellamy looking down at the drawing.

''Thanks'' Astrid smiled and stood up, wiping the dirt from her jeans. She put her notebook back in her pocket and was careful not to touch her gun, but her head snapped in the direction of a fight. There were Wells, Clarke, Jasper and Monty talking. And one more person. Astrid smirked when she recognized the person and grabbed Octavia's hand and headed towards the fight, Bellamy not far behind them.

The three of them arrived to hear some of the fight.

''Relax we're just trying to figure out where we are'' Wells said

''We're on the ground. That not good enough for you?'' Bellamy said from beside Astrid and she smiled at the defiance.

''We need to find Mount Weather. You heard my father's message. That has to be our first priority'' Wells said and Astrid cringed at the mention of his father. Probably not a good idea.

''Screw your father. What you think you're in charge, you and you're little princess'' Octavia sneered from beside Astrid who was filled with pride at Octavia's accusation. She really liked the girl.

''Do you think we care who's in charge? We need to get to Mount Weather not because the Chancellor said so but because the longer we wait the hungrier we'll get and the harder this'll be. How long do you think we'll last without those supplies? We're looking at a twenty mile trek okay? So if we want to get there before dark, we need to go now'' Clarke shouted and everyone went quiet. You had to give it to her, she could give hell of a speech.

''I got a better idea. You two go, find it for us. Let the privileged do the hard work for a change'' Bellamy smirked, crossing his arms and everyone cheered.

''You're not listening we all need to go'' Wells stepped in. And then the one and only, John Murphy, pushed him.

''Look at this everybody'' Murphy said and pushed Wells again ''The chancellor of earth'' he said and the crowd laughed. Well not Astrid. She hated Wells but she hated Murphy more.

''Think that's funny?'' Wells said and that's when Murphy pushed him hard and caused him to probably sprain his ankle from the face he made

''No but that was'' Murphy smirked and went to hit Wells again but Finn jumped from the drop ship in between them.

''Kid's got one leg. How about you wait until it's a fair fight'' Finn said and Murphy stepped back.

''Hey Spacewalker rescue me next'' Octavia said and Finn smiled. The crowd was still there and Astrid couldn't control herself anymore.

She went behind Murphy and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and smirked once he saw her.

''Astri-'' he began to say but was stopped when Astrid punched him hard in the nose. The crowd went all silent while Murphy stumbled back.

''That's for ratting me out'' Astrid said and then hit him in the groin ''And that's for being a dick'' she said and pushed him one the ground. Murphy groaned and held his bleeding nose. She looked around and saw the crowd watching her. She raised an eyebrow and that's when people started to scatter around. If Murphy was gonna be bad, Astrid was gonna be worse.

Astrid went back next to Octavia who was watching her with her eyes wide open. And everyone else around her including Clarke, Wells, Finn and Bellamy who had a smug look on his face.

''That was so cool'' Octavia said and Astrid smiled at the girl. Bellamy then grabbed Octavia to talk to her and Astrid was left with Clarke and Finn after Wells decided to leave.

''Astrid I wanted to say sorry-'' Clarke started but Astrid stopped her.

''I don't need your apology Clarke because you are not forgiven and never will be'' Astrid hissed at the girl. Clarke pursed her lips but nodded nonetheless. She knew she did a horrible thing and she knew Astrid wouldn't forgive her easily.

''When are we leaving?'' Finn finally asked. He had grabbed Monty and Jasper to join their little trip

''Right now'' Clarke said but stopped what she was doing and grabbed his wrist. ''Were you trying to take this off?''

''Yeah so?'' Finn shrugged.

''So the Ark will think you're dead.'' Clarke said and an idea came to Astrid's mind.

''Should I care?'' Finn asked

''Well do you want the people you love to follow you down here because they won't if we take these off..''

Astrid didn't pay attention to the rest of the conversation. She didn't see Bellamy, Octavia, Jasper and Monty talking to Clarke and Finn about the bracelet. She found a branch thick enough and put it between her wrist and the metal. She started opening it and the bracelet came off with a click.

Clarke and the others in the group stopped and looked at Astrid who stomped on the bracelet while rubbing her wrist. Astrid looked up at them and could see Clarke with a pretty terrified expression. Jasper, Monty, Finn and Octavia looked like they really didn't care and Bellamy had a smirk as he looked at the girl who didn't like to follow rules.

''Astrid what are you doing?'' Clarke said rapidly.

''What does it look like I'm doing?'' Astrid asked with a raised eyebrow at the blonde.

''Don't you want the people you love to come down?'' Clarke asked but immediately regretted it.

''The people I love are dead because of you and your boyfriends dad'' Astrid hissed with so much hate it made even Bellamy shiver. Clarke gulped and looked down at the ground in shame

''Um anyway let's go'' Finn cleared his throat. Astrid waited for Octavia and went to walk with her until she saw Bellamy's concerned face.

''Don't worry, I promised your mom I'll keep Octavia safe.'' Astrid said and walked away, leaving behind a stunned Bellamy.

Bellamy watched Astrid leave and couldn't help but think of what she said. Then it came to him one of the conversations he had with his mom.

"Mom where did you get this much food and clothes'' a younger Bellamy said as he looked over the food and clothes for his sister

''I know someone'' his mother simply said but just that sentence made his eyes wide with fear.

''Does he know about Octavia?'' he asked

''Yes she does but she won't tell. She's the one that's been helping me for a couple months now. She is a sweet girl. She's a little younger then you, Octavia's age actually but she's been so much help. She stole so much for me and she promised to protect Octavia if the time came. Actually I was thinking you guys should meet her after the Unity day ball'' his mother had said.

As Bellamy thought of the conversation he had with his mother, he realized Astrid was the girl she had been talking about with so much respect. His mother had told her how hard her life had been even if she was privileged and Bellamy couldn't help but want to know more of Astrid Rose.

A/N

I wanted to clarify the relationship between Bellamy and Octavia's mother with Astrid and the timeline because i realized it's a little confusing.

So Astrid started stealing when she was 13. She started helping the Blake family months before Octavia was arrested and a year and a little before she was arrested.
She found out about Octavia but didn't get the chance to meet her because of the Unity Day Ball.
Aurora, the siblings mother was floated and Bellamy became a janitor.
Astrid continued to steal and help people and a couple of days before she wanted to kill the person responsible for blaming her father, she punched Kane in the nose.
