"Astrid." the voice said. "Astrid I'll be back in a minute to tend to your wound."

Astrid nodded numb, the tear stains on her face already dry. She didn't want to go outside, to see Bellamy's burnt body. She couldn't.

And so she stayed behind - with an arrow wound but that was besides the point. She watched from next to Raven as Clarke and the others exited the drop ship.

She watched as Clarke sent her one last smile.

She watched as everyone left.

And she watched the doors for hours until she realized Clarke wasn't coming back.
