Laura

I hugged him. I hugged him and buried my face in his chest. I didn't have the words to say anything back to him. He understood my actions.

Gathering me more into his chest, he put his chin on my head and hugged me back. He let out a big sigh. A sigh of relief. Relief of everything that has been going on with him. It just felt right to be there for each other.

I was stressed? Seriously? This man, who had been through so much, fighting with own emotions all these years and even now when he had so much on his plate was worried because I was stressed?

How could he be so thoughtful about everyone else, but himself?

"What am I going to do with you Indigo?" I said, softly and looked at him.

"For starters, you can kiss me," he said, smiling brightly and looking down at me. The bond was working its magic wherever we touched.

I couldn't stop thinking about him. All he had faced and all he was facing. Me being his mate was going to get him into so much trouble again. With Violet here and then my dad and everything else.

How was he holding himself so strong?

"I just- Indigo!" I groaned and kissed him. I did.

I kissed him!

The sparks exploded running through my veins, reaching every corner in my body. He pulled me tighter to him and kissed me back with the same zeal. My feet rose in the air as he picked me by my waist.

The bond was glowing, warming me with his scent. It was pushing us to mate, but not enough to make us lose control. My hands that were on his bare back, moved, holding him close. They explored his back, feeling his muscles that were flexing at my touch. Goddess, how much I loved that! The robustness of them felt so good to my hands as I moved them up and down on his back. 

That caused him to bite my lip, stimulating me to open my mouth for him. For his hot tongue. He did not stop even for a second. He explored my mouth like he was trying to dig up treasure in it.

My tongue intertwined with his, made me moan. He growled lowly, leaving me breathless. I did not stop, I did not want to stop. His hand held my head in place and the other held me by my waist, keeping my legs in the air.

The only noises were our moans and growls and purrs and the waterfall. All of it created a song of their own. I grew breathless. But it was the best feeling. Call me crazy but I loved this feeling of breathlessness. Sensing it, he pulled back and kissed my neck.

Oh holy-!

I moved my head to the side, giving him more access, letting out the breath I was holding along with a moan. He ran his tongue on a spot on my neck and then sucked on it. He then moved to another spot, licked and sucked and then again licked and sucked at another and kept doing it at every new spot.

Why was he so perfect!?

I moaned every time he did that, shivering in his arms.

He moved to wear my collarbone and neck connected, ever so slowly, licking it and sucking on it. "Indigo.." I moaned out his name, making him growl. That was it. That was the spot where he was going to place his mark. He licked there a little more and then sucked on it so hard, I was sure I was going home with a hickey.

I moaned out his name again as I felt him getting hard against my belly.

Fuck. I did that!

He kissed that spot again and again and again and then pulled back.

I took in a deep breath and looked at him. He touched our foreheads together, as I was still trying to control my breathing. He let me down, our foreheads still connected.

"I didn't know you'd kiss me." He said in his bold, melting voice, as he looked at me through his hooded eyes.

I looked at him the same way and chuckled, "I didn't know either." I told him. He kissed my crown and hugged me again.

"This feels so good," he said.

"Mmm." I hummed in approval. It did feel good. Just me and my mate. The bond was having a party of its own with what we had filled it with. We were giving in to the bond. It was sprouting within us.

"Well, for the main course we could do-" he said and I growled, amusingly.

Indigo chuckled, "You wanna take a dip in the water." he asked.

"Really." I looked at him with big eyes.

"Yes really. It will get dark later," he told me. It was close to sunset, maybe an hour or so. He took my hand and pulled me with him.

"It will be cold," I said, walking behind him as he pulled me.

"Not when I'm with you," he winked. I giggled at his cheesiness, shaking my head. He was so good at teasing me. Our wolves were resting at the back of our minds and letting us have our time. He went into the water first and then turned back to look at me. He stood about waist deep in the water.

The waist though. Oh my.

I went in about knee length water and picked some water in my hands, bringing it to my mouth, giving Indigo the idea that I was about to drink. But I did what he did not expect.

I threw the water at him which hit and splashed over his face. He definitely did not see it coming. He was frantically wiping his face while I laughed, clutching my stomach.

I took a look at him and damn, he looked smoking.. hot. Some of his hair had water dripping down his forehead as he looked at me with mischief in his eyes. He looked like one of those actors or models coming out of the water in the underwear commercials and what not.

Sizzling!

I didn't realise he had started walking towards me, slowly coming out of the water. I snapped out of my world, taking a step back. Even before I could take two steps back, he was in front of me.

My heart was racing thinking what he'd do to me. His pants were all soaked and sticking to his perfectly built, long, muscular, hard legs. My eyes travelled to places on his body that were heating my insides.

Without a warning, he scooped me up bridal style making me gasp a scream. I held onto his shoulders for balance as he started walking in the water.
"Put me down, Indigo!!" I half laughed, half exclaimed.

He did not say a word, just looked at me with a smirk on his lips. I tried to jump out of his arms but the grip he had on me was not helping. I almost hit his chest when he reached into the water and looked at me. The water was reaching his abdomen. My back was slightly dipping into the water as he had carried me.

"Hold me tight," he said.

"What, no! Let me down!" I told him, wiggling in his arms.

"You might want to listen to me, blue," he said sensuously.

"What are you going to do?" I asked as I held him. He smiled.

He smiled and dipped both of us into the water. I pulled some air into my mouth before I was submerged in it completely. Indigo did not loosen his hold on me even for a second. He swam with me in his arms. I had my eyes closed. I tried opening them but I just couldn't with the speed he moved in the water. Within seconds, he pulled both of us up.

I took a breadth and wiped all the water from my face. I opened my eyes to look at him and he was already looking at me with a big smile on his face.

"You crazy asshole!!" I said, amusingly with wide eyes and hit him, still wiggling in his arms. He chuckled and let me down in the water, where I felt my legs touch a boulder.

"I'm not sorry at all," he shrugged. The water was dripping from all over his face to his neck to his chest, stomach and then mixing with the disturbed water surface, making him look dreamy. He pushed some of my hair behind my ears with his hot fingers. They travelled to the back of my head, holding my hair in a loose grip.

"You look so fucking sexy, Blue."

Sweet Goddess, help me!

I blushed and looked elsewhere. That's when I saw the waterfall on my left. We were standing only some distance away from it. It looked more beautiful from this angle. But the fine specimen in front of me was taking my breath away.

I looked back at him, "Ugh! You should have worn a t-shirt or something." I told him, shyly and shook my head.

He turned me around, pressing my back to his chest. His arms reached around my stomach and he placed his chin on my shoulder.

"What was the fun in that? Do you think I'd lose a single chance to get to see you mindlessly gawking at me." he said, and I laughed.

"You are seriously crazy.".

"Yes I am. Please help me Dr. Laura," he said into my ear, causing me to shiver and melt back into him. Damn him. I closed my eyes, hearing my name that he so hotly pronounced.

"Indigo-" I did not know what I wanted to say. I kind of forgot what I wanted to say.

He chuckled and moved away from me slowly. I opened my eyes and turned back. He was swimming on his back, looking at me with a smirk.

Stupid alpha just leaves me all bothered.

I started swimming to where the fall was. I reached in front of it and saw that there was a lot of space behind. Like a cave was formed behind it. It had really huge boulders to sit on which were half submerged in water.

I swam through the fall, the water hitting my head with full force. It felt so good. It felt like a perfect massage parlour for my head. I came out again, the water hitting my head and shoulders again.

It felt great!

I turned in the water on my belly, my body now floating on it. I swam through the fall again. The water now hit all of my back.

I moved in and out, two or three times, relaxing my body. It calmed me and my wolf, making us relieve the exhaustion from everything. We weren't in the right state of mind since the day we entered the pack. Right now, this fall and the presence of our mate helped us wash off the little amount of pain and hurt we had felt.

I eventually came out to look for Indigo. He was sitting on a boulder where the waterfall formed a transparent view. His hands were on either side of him, besides his butt. His legs were spread in front while he sat on the boulder. He had a smile on his face as he looked at me fondly. He winked at me and asked, "You sure are enjoying it, aren't you?"

"I'm in love with this place!" I said, excitedly as I splashed some water in his direction. He laughed wholeheartedly.

"What are you doing up there? Come on in." I told him, almost dancing in water.

"Yes doctor," he shouted, making me laugh. He jumped in and came towards me. I swam away from him, wanting him to catch me. I laughed and laughed as he chased me in the water. 

I was a good swimmer. In my pack, we had so many lakes and rivers with the ocean on the east. My dad and sometimes the twins taught me how to swim when I first started. Our pack had these activities for newly shifted pups, actually every pack did. One of the activities was swimming.

Those were fun times. Childhood days were always a fun time. But coming here to this pack I learnt, it wasn't for all. While for some it's a happy time of their life and for some a horrible nightmare.

Indigo and I chased each other, splashed water, kissed a few times on the boulder and then under the waterfall and then under the water and every other place possible.

After we kissed under the water, we came out and laughed so much. It was like we were living our teenage days, doing the craziest things possible.

I had missed it due to my studies and Indigo had missed it because he soon had to become the Alpha.

For a while we forgot we were alphas or even mates for that matter. We were just two people who were enjoying each other's company and had deep feelings for each other at the same time.

It felt so good to see him like this. A little careless. A little out of his zone. He was enjoying it, all of it. At one point he asked me to marry him. I denied, acting like shit. But then he kissed me again until I knew I couldn't breathe. We laughed at that too.

Nevertheless, not once did he try to do things I did not want him to do.
The bond was flooding with love and trust and more love. Both of us felt the pull to mark each other at one point and that's when we decided to stop.

The sun had set some time ago. We were sitting on a bigger boulder outside. It was perfect to sit on and even lay down, officially becoming my favourite boulder in this place. Indigo laid on it with his left hand behind his head as I sat beside him.

I asked him to link Klaus to check what they were doing. Klaus said he was helping Violet unpack and then Violet taught him how to do yoga, saying that was her everyday routine. And then they were going to cook something for themselves. Indigo was relaxed that she was getting well with Klaus. Leaving his pup alone there was an indication that his trust in Klaus was immense. 

"Do you want to tell your parents now or should we wait some more?" He asked, looking at me. He was playing with my hair, as I thought.

"Let's do this." I told him. He got up and sat beside me.

"Don't worry. He can go all -favourite-daughter's-dad on me. But I am not letting you go away from me," I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"You're not helping," I said. He put a hand across my shoulders and kissed my hair.

"Don't worry, blue." He said and kissed again.

"I'll link them." I said and he nodded.

I quickly linked my mom and dad. "Mom, dad."

"Angel! How are you?" It was dad. I missed home, hearing his voice.

"I am really good, dad. How are you?" I asked him, smiling brightly. Indigo held my hand and brought it to his lips and kissed it. He held it to him while he waited for me to speak.

"We are all fine. Just missing you." Mom said.

"Yeah, I miss you guys too." I told them.

"How's everything there? Is that pack treating you well?" Dad asked quickly, not hiding his concern.

"It is good here, dad. I wanted to, um, tell you guys that, uh.. I-"

"You found your mate?" Mom jumped in.

How?

Okay. Cool, cool, cool.

Indigo sensed it and kissed my hair again. "Uh, yeah." I said and I heard a growl. His growl sounded like he must have guessed it.

"Who is it?" Dad asked, urgently.

"Dad, relax. You don't have to worry at all." I tried to assure him.

"Who. Is. It. Laura?" He seethed every word. He was pissed. Exactly what I feared about.

"It's Alpha Indigo Yarbrough." I finally told them.

"THE HELL HE IS!" He growled through the link.

"Dad please calm down and listen to me, please." I pleaded with him. My wolf stood up. She did not want her father to hate her mate. Indigo kissed my hand again, assuring me.

"Is he there with you right now?" Dad asked. He wasn't listening to me.

"Yeah, he is." I said slowly.

"Put him in the link." I felt Logan's presence in the link too.

"Dad is mad at me." I said looking at Indigo. Indigo's wolf was pacing too.

"Shh. It's okay, blue. I'll take care of it. He cares for you, that's it." Indigo said, looking at me, pulling me closer. I nodded.

"I'll add you to the link," I told him and he nodded. I added him to the link as I heard another growl from dad. Mom did not say anything. I know she understood how difficult it was going to be. But I also knew she would never go against her mate.

"Alpha Lucca." Indigo said without any fear.

"You listen to me carefully, Alpha Indigo. I am going to come to your pack tomorrow and take her home with me." My dad screeched through the link. Logan and mom were quite probably trying to calm down over there.

"With due respect Alpha, you can come to my pack, do all you want but Laura, she is my mate, my Luna. She belongs with me. This is her home now. I will not allow anyone to take her away from me or from her home." Indigo said proudly, his words warming my heart again. I looked at him and held his hand tighter.

"I do not want some sick-mindless alpha-" my dad said and was stopped by Indigo's loud growl. His wolf wasn't taking anyone's shit. He was pissed hearing my father trying to take me away. This was all going to be sp fucked up. My wolf was whining at it.

"Dad please. He is a good man. You cannot judge him from what you hear from people." I pleaded, softly.

"I do not care, Laura. I am coming there tomorrow itself and you are coming home with me." Dad was very adamant on his decision.

"No, dad! Listen. You just come here and then we talk about it, okay. Dad there are things here that no one needs to know. Please! If you are planning on coming here, please just get mom or Logan or Linus along. Just family. No one else dad, please. Just listen to me this one time. I'll do whatever you say, but please just do what I said one last time dad." I tried convincing him my way, really softly. He did not say anything for a few seconds, worrying the shit out of me.

"Why, what is that Alpha planning?" Dad asked rather sarcastically. Indigo was trying to keep his wolf at bay.

"Dad! Please just trust me on this. There is nothing wrong here. Just do it for me." I pleaded with him again. I prayed silently that he'd listen to me. I knew my dad would. I also knew he'd do anything for me. There was complete silence in the link. Indigo assured me with a nod of his head, rubbing my arm, trying to control his own wolf.

"Laura, Alpha Indigo." Logan acknowledged. "Mom, dad and I will be coming tomorrow. We are leaving right now. We'll be there by evening." Logan said, taking the lead on things.

"Thank you, Alpha Logan." Indigo said, sounding as calm as ever.

They closed the link without saying anything. Not even a bye. Indigo pulled me on his lap and let me hug him.

"I cannot thank you less for thinking about Violet so much." He said and hugged me tight. "I am never letting you go, Laura. Ever." He said, breathing heavily.

"Me too, Indigo," I told him. I did not want to leave my mate. I had made up my mind. I knew dad would oppose this but he had to understand that Indigo was my mate. Those rumors were not going to break us apart.

We stayed like that for sometime, without saying anything. The noise of the waterfall was calming as was Indigo's warmth.

"Tell me. How can I cheer you up?" Indigo asked, breaking the silence. I pulled away from him and looked at him, not in the mood.

"I don't know Indigo." I said with a frown. "I cannot stop thinking about dad. I love him, Indigo. Of all people I do not want him to hate me."  I told him.

"He is your father Laura. He would never hate you. I understand why he said those things and about taking you away. Don't think otherwise. It's the same way I feel about Violet, you know that." he said.

"Yeah I do." I nodded with a sign. This was so heavy on my heart, but Indigo was comforting me.

"So tell me more about you. I don't want to sound like a douche in front of your dad." he said, earning a small chuckle from me.

"Um, what should I start with- um, a, okay, so I was born on May twenty-five." I said, guessing that's how people started conversations on their first dates. Maybe. Not a good point to start but whatever.

"Okay. Good going, blue. We'll do one at a time. My birthday is on May one." he said. We were birthday-month twinnies.

I smiled big, "Wow. We are birthday-month twinnies!!" He chuckled.

"Your turn." he said.

"So, um, I grew up in the pack. We don't have waterfalls there but we do have lakes and rivers and the ocean on the east side." I told him. I don't think he has been to any of the beaches.

"Well. We'll have to plan a picnic at the beach then sometime." He said with a big smile. I jumped in excitement.

"Of course!" I told him, dreaming about us naked on the beach.

Shut it, Laura!

"We also have two islands that are part of our pack." I continued, shutting my kinky brain.

He raised a brow, "Islands, huh. There are no islands here but a lot of waterfalls and it's really cool down here with the occasional rains. We have the highest view point where we take the newly shifted wolves for a run." Every pack had a run with the newly shifted ones. It was like a tradition. We had to wait until every last member shifted on the day of the full moon after the events, so all of us ran together.

A sign of brotherhood. A sign of respect towards the pack. Towards each other.

"In our pack we run to the river and camp there for the night." I told him. Every pack had a run as they had their own traditions.

We then went on talking about friends and family. Shared each other's best and worst experiences in life. I even told him I had slipped in the men's washroom back at the sauna in our pack. I was eight or something and Linus was chasing me through the building. Without realising I ran into the men's room and slipped on the floor right when I entered the room, falling and hitting my back. Hopefully, there weren't many people. Linus came behind me while I was figuring what the fuck had happened. All I could do was look left and right to see my pack staring at me.

Fuck, it was so embarressing!

Linus carried me all the way home. Laughing! Oh, and that wasn't it. He told Logan about it. I cried so much after that because they kept teasing me until mom got fed up and made them run the perimeter. Twice!

Well, to me, it was worth it. Those assholes deserved it.

But what was funnier was, Indigo was laughing his ass off. Indigo laughed so much. So much that he even dropped me down from his lap. He literally dropped me! His eyes watered laughing as I kept hitting him, making him shut his laughter. I felt embarrassed but I didn't care. He told me he hadn't laughed so much before. So I let him.

He told me Eli and Alistair, his delta, had once downloaded pirated videos and the boys had all decided to watch it together. But that did not end well. It ended in them quitting their plan and saying bye for the night just within the first hour. He shrugged with a big cocky smile and said, "Everybody left to do their business!"

I was rolling with laughter. Literally, so much that my stomach ached.

This time we spent was amazing. I had completely forgotten about my dad coming here to take me. I learnt that Indigo was fun after all. Only that he needed to let himself out more.

"I wanted to ask you. What deal did you make with the Alpha's of the packs you visited?" I asked after some fun time, wanting to get the question off me.

He shook his head and said, "Help." I narrowed my eyes to listen more. "Help in times of need. I've helped two packs get rid of the increasing rogues in their territories, alone."

What? Alone?

"Indigo, what the hell?!" I was livid. Was he crazy. I know he was the big Alpha and all but fighting the rogues alone was stupid. I was so mad at him.

"Well. It was for everyone's benefit anyway. I needed my mate. They gave me their word to not spread a word about me being cursed and well a place to stay. My wolf got the respect he deserved so I went with it. They needed protection and plus they had backup. I didn't want to involve my pack into it. So yeah." He said, like it was nothing. I knew the number of rogues around our packs were increasing. The rogues were not even from here. I knew it because it was brought to the council. It was another growing problem for the packs.

"You are mad. I swear, Indigo. You are killing me right here, right now." I said, shaking my head but proud my mate was a better leader. A thoughtful leader of a pack. He chuckled and kissed my forehead again.

"How did you manage here after all of that happened?" I asked him, expecting he would answer but he kept looking at me.

I knew it was all of a sudden. I wanted to wait for him to tell me on his own. But with dad marching down here, I needed to know at least some part of it. He was quiet, contemplating to bring up the past.

I took his silence as a 'no' and just when I was about to open my mouth he said, "I myself sit and think about it sometimes, blue. How did I even survive after all of it?" His eyes left mine and looked elsewhere. I could feel his grief, with a little guilt.

He was guilty? For what?

"I wanted to go out of there and help them but I knew I had to take care of Violet. I waited there to take care of Violet. But what did that leave me with? Her death. I felt guilty I couldn't protect them, any of them. I did not want to live, blue. I had lost all of them." He said in a soft voice.

But then a ghost of a smile appeared on his lips. "It was Eli. He was the only one there for me. He had lost his mother too. I do not know how he managed to handle Klaus, his little sister and me at the same time. Vicky's dad and Alister's mother along with the other survivors, they held the pack until Klaus and I got a hold of ourself. We had to, for the pack. It was Eli, who made me realize what I needed to do. I really don't know if I would have lived after all."

I couldn't imagine the amount of pain both the packs had been through. I did not want Indigo to feel guilty about it. He did what he could. Along with losing everyone, he had to stand up to be the alpha. Not only that he had to live with the weight of his curse on his shoulders.

"Don't ever blame yourself, Indigo. We have her here now. And I am so proud of you. I don't think anyone would have been able to stand up as you did. You are so strong." I said, caressing his hair.

"Goddess! I have to thank Eli for what he did. I know, I cannot imagine what you have been through. But you've done great. Thankyou for sharing with me." I said, kissing his cheek. I had to thank Eli, genuinely. Now I knew why Eli and him were called the duos or whatever that they were called.

"I was going to tell you but I did not know when to. I'm glad it was you who asked me. It is your right to know everything about me, blue. I will never keep anything from you." He told me, pulling me closer on his lap again.

"Well the good thing is, we have Violet and then my dad. I can imagine the real life drama we are going to have to experience. I'm kind of waiting for it. I'm waiting for my dad to have you on our ass." I said with a smirk, wanting to lighten up the mood.

It was true, the way things were going, I had to say, it was a little fun. Violet did not seem the quiet type. She was going to be a handful. My dad, as much as I was worried, I knew that he would never do this to me. Take me away from my mate. He would never be able to see me hurt. 

That didn't mean I wasn't going to listen to him. He was my dad. As he couldn't see me hurt, I couldn't see him hurt either. I was going to hear his side and respect it as much. I loved him. He was the best in the world.

"Now you are acting delusional, Laura." Indigo said with a shit eating smirk of his own.

The audacity.

He was mocking me with my own words. And he did have a lot of confidence.

"Pfft! We'll see," I scoffed, rolling my eyes and folded my hands in front of me, still sitting on his lap.

"I fight well to keep what belongs with me." He said, strongly.

"Uh-huh. Good for you." I said, raising a brow slightly and dragging a finger across his chest with a little sweep. He chuckled and I smiled at him.

I was about to get up when Logan's voice popped up in my head, "Laura, please tell me what is wrong with that pack. You have no idea how hard it was controlling dad." I closed my eyes and put my head in my hands.

"What's wrong?" Indigo frowned.

"Logan linked me. Dad is really out of control." I told him with my hands still in my hands.

"Look at me, love," Indigo said.

One thing at a time mate. Stop calling me love and distract me!

I looked at him as he placed a hand on my cheek and kissed my crown.
"Talk to him first. Assure him everything is fine. Ask him where he is?" he said, trailing his thumb across my cheek.

Why did it have to feel so good?

"Trust me Logan, there is nothing wrong here. I promise. It's just something I cannot tell you now. Please make sure no one in the pack knows about it. Trust me. And where are you right now?" I said.

He signed, "Fine! We just left the house. I wanted to ask you before I started driving. Laura, the hell! If anything goes wrong over there, I will not think twice before going after that mate of yours." He was more in his big-brother mode than his alpha mode. I rolled my eyes.

"Trust me Logan. It won't ever come to that. Just link me whenever you want to." I assured him.

"Fine. Just take care okay. You have given me just another reason to call you trouble," he said softly and chuckled. He called me that and I did the same. Linus called me 'Lau'. I used to call Linus big bro just to piss off Logan.

"Yeah, whatever. Did mom say anything?" I asked him. I don't know what was going on in mom's head. She knew me so well that she guessed it just like that.

"She looks fine. Trying to convince dad." He told me. I smiled at that. Indigo was patting my back constantly.

"Okay. Drive safe. Do not hurry. I am not going anywhere." I told him.

"Yup, bye. Gotta go. Link Linus when you are free. He's worried and Koralina is panicking." He said with a small chuckle and closed the link.

Of course he was worried. He was the only one mated among us. Koralina only saw me as a baby. Still. For real.

And if Koralina knew, my best friend, her sister would definitely come to know.

Trouble in paradise wasn't going to leave me alone. 

Indigo told me everything was going to be fine and to not worry. We ran back home in our fur after some time as it had started raining. The force of the waterfall grew much more than before.

Our wolves had a good time running back together. Violet was asleep in her room while Klaus was asleep on the couch and woke up when we returned. He told us there was food for us in the kitchen.

Indigo was about to say something but Klaus smiled and said, "I'll be here tomorrow. And don't worry son." Indigo nodded at him, happy that he had someone like Klaus to trust with her.

Indigo and I had dinner which involved him feeding me with me on his lap. He was making me fall for him more and more and it had only been like what, twenty-four hours since we met. But our bond, we were working positively towards it. And the positive emotions and feelings growing were just the reason why we were able to freely get along with each other in no time.

He told me he was going to introduce me and Violet to the ranked wolves in the pack tomorrow. That was one good step. He was hesitating but he knew he had to. It was in his best interest for her to have people she could trust and rely on in his absence.

We were on our way back to our respective rooms as I turned to go upstairs when he raised an eyebrow at me.

"I told Violet, I'll be her roommate for a while. Don't worry, I'll come wake you up." I told him, yawning. He groaned and pushed me against the wall. His lips were on mine the next second.

Damn I wanted him to take me to his room. But I did otherwise. I knew I had to wait for a while. For Violet and for myself, too. That girl needed someone to be with her and understand her like a sister or a friend.

He came up to the room with me and went to Violet's side. He caressed her hair and kissed her crown with a goodnight. I went to sleep beside her and pulled the covers over me. Indigo blew me a kiss and reminded me to come wake him up in the morning. I gave him a thumbs up. Closing my eyes, I slept peacefully with my mate's scent all over me.

And it was heavenly.
