Subject: A young chick that appears to be at least 1 or 2 months old, according to witness

Description: Subject's body was found outside the said witness' dwelling. Witness was unsure whether it was alive or dead.

Outcome: Witness says that the subject was found lying in the floor but after a few minutes, witness came back to check on the body but it was no longer there.

Conclusion: At the subject's presumed age, it appears that it could have been practicing how to fly. In this case, it could have still been alive and dragged itself away or its parents took it back to the nest.

The subject's body could not have been taken by a cat since a previous subject's corpse in a similar situation was left by the feline and rejected, thus showing that it does not accept dead, dying, or decaying prey.
