Chapter 16
Chenle swore that if he could, he'd summon a whirlpool to suck him into the table. Oh, how he wanted to start sprinting out the room away from everyone's hard stare. Was that why Jisung didn't introduce him as Zhong? Did he know of his cousin's tendency to suddenly crush on people with bags of money? Seemed like, because that was the only explanation for his behaviour. It seemed as if she said the same things about other people at every family dinner by the looks of it.
"WHAT?! THAT'S HIM BESIDE YOU?! WHAT THE FUCK JISUNG?! ARE YOU TWO DATING?!"
Jisung slowly got up, hand interlacing in Chenle's as he tugged him up.
"No, but that doesn't change the fact that he's mine."
With an apologetic bow, Chenle trailed after Jisung, family left behind and all Jisung sent was an evil smirk over his shoulder. He was much too proud.
Into the garage they went, Jisung fishing for keys in a safe as they clambered in, silence overcoming them as the situation weighed in. Chenle still couldn’t wrap his head around everything that had happened during that evening.
"What the hell, Jisung? You really told them I belong to you? What am I? Your fucking dog?"
Jisung sighed, not in the mood to argue.
"No, Zhong, I-"
"Oh shut the hell up! You say that and then you go right back to calling me Zhong! How are you gonna say that about me and then refer to me as if I'm just a business partner? Huh? If you wanna speak like that of me, you better man up and make it seem as if I'm yours!"
Jisung blinked, not exactly surprised at the outburst but surprised that Chenle was insisting he put some effort and possibly a label on it.
"Have I ever told you that you're prettier with your mouth shut, Chenle?"
"Oh go to hell," Chenle sighed, a little smile on his face.
Without a word, Jisung turned the vehicle on backing out the garage and into the night. They drove for a while, seeming to go nowhere in particular and although the logical sense would be to panic at the fact that his sworn 'enemy' was taking him somewhere strange, Chenle relaxed into his seat with a faint smile because Park Jisung wasn't being hostile.
Park Jisung was personally driving him. Park Jisung who had made a deal with him, Park Jisung who had bought him food when he was hungry, and Park Jisung who gave him what he had wanted.
He could feel at ease even as the road stretched ahead of them and time passed. They were well away from home, in the middle of nowhere as they winded down a side road. It was quiet and peaceful, the lights from the dashboard being the brightest source to see each other with and Chenle couldn’t help but to stare at the other who looked so surreal sitting there transporting them to lord knows where.
Right when the drive began to feel a bit too long, and Chenle decided to break away his not-so-subtle gaze, they came to a halt in front of a lake, a bungalow on a side as Jisunt got out.
"We're here."
Chenle followed him out suspiciously, squinting as he looked up at Jisung who was already staring at him.
"And where might 'here' be, exactly? I swear, Jisung, if you're gonna end my life, it better be extravagant because that's what I deserve."
Jisung shook his head with a snort, holding out his hand for Chenle to hold.
"Oh? Look at Park Jisung trying to own me," Chenle laughed, grabbing his large hand anyway.
Jisung didn't say anything, leading them up the bungalow stairs and onto a dock that floated above water.
"I come here often," Jisung stated quietly, his insides warming as he realized that the feeling he felt within while holding Zhong Fucking Chenle's hand was the one thing he had always been certain he would never feel. "I come here with my Ma and Mom. They said I should come here with the person I love. They met here, bought this place, and then brought me here. It was only ever us, but suddenly, I had the urge to bring you here."
Chenle remained quiet, in awe that Jisung had admitted that out loud, but he couldn't focus on what he had said about the person he loved, focused on something else.
"Huh? You have two Moms?"
"I indirectly confess that I fucking love you and all you focus on is that I have two Moms?"
Chenle snickered, nodding as he stepped closer to the taller male.
"Does that mean you wanna officially own me?"
"Hell no. Not yet," Jisung stated with a smirk illuminated by the dull solar-powered lights.
His emotions jumbled into a series of confusing networks, resulting in him untangling their hands and ever-lovingly pushing the smaller into the water with a laugh. It was a logical reaction when you were so confused about your love life.
"WHAT THE FUCK?! DO YOU FUCKING KNOW WHO I AM?!"
"Yeah, the man who looks hotter with their mouth shut."
Chenle splashed in the water, hair flattened against his head as he glared weakly at Jisung, who slowly settled on the edge of the dock, shoes and socks coming off as he lowered his legs into the water.
"Stupid. Stupid as hell," Chenle muttered, wading closer to the unsuspecting male.
"Why?"
"BECAUSE NOW I CAN DO THIS!"
Rather violently, Chenle latched onto Jisung's legs and pulled him in, a startled scream being emitted as both of them splashed in the water.
"You're on!"
Shrieks and yells echoed in the night, Jisung smiling as he threw water at Chenle and held himself upright as the smaller male attempted to tackle him under but failing. A joy it was as they pushed and pulled, stumbled and waddled, and shrieked and threatened.
Their breaths occasionally came out choked, mixing with water and although it was a cool night, their bodies were hot in the waist-deep water. It was tiring to splash in water for so long, and even the dinner they had managed to wolf down seemed to vanish with their strenuous activities.
"I'm tired," Chenle finally panted, waddling close enough to Jisung to collapse against his chest, the weird feeling he had felt for so long making itself much too obvious right then as his heart hammered and his face felt warm.
Especially warm with the way his cheek lay snug against the male's broad chest.
"Yeah? Princess Zhong too tired to move?" Jisung teased, hoisting the smaller up on the dock with little struggle.
"Shut up."
A lopsided smile formed on Jisung's face as he jumped on right beside him and both collapsed back onto the wooden platform.
The stars twinkled above them cheerily, a peaceful air the longer they lay without noise.
They had come far. Not far in terms of physical driving but far in terms that they had come from Chenle swearing they were enemies solely because Jisung refused to apologize to him and now, they lay on the dock that Jisung had indirectly confessed to him. The whole evening had been a time of surprise.
Showing up to his house unannounced, arguing with his cousin, being indirectly confessed to, finding out the taller had two Mothers, splashing in a lake, and now lying together side by side without any intent of choking each other aggressively. Needless to say, even if they would never end up together, Chenle would live happily knowing that for one day, he felt as if someone wanted him and not just for money. Jisung had money and didn't need any, he had visuals so it wasn't as if he just wanted him because he was pretty, Jisung would be an heir and so would Chenle so he didn't want him for a company name, and Jisung could have anyone and yet, he got aggressive over Chenle.
He knew Jisung liked messing with him, make him do humiliating things, get a rise out of him, do sexual things, but internally he had a part of him that didn’t mind. A part that seemed to always enjoy it even if it didn’t seem like it. Jisung had never forced him, always given him an option although seeming adamant to what he wanted. But Chenle knew that everything that went on between them was because of his own free will. Chenle could safely say that he would give Park Jisung his heart if he asked for it and promised to take care of it.
"Do you still want to prevent yourself from going insane?" Jisung suddenly asked, turning his head to look at Chenle who frowned at him.
"What? What are you talking about?"
Jisung sighed, shaking his head.
"Nevermind then."
Chenle furrowed his eyebrows with a tisk, attempting to figure out what he was talking about.
He conjured nothing, and with a sigh of his own, he looked at the stars, suddenly painfully aware of the way Jisung would bounce their hips together as he wiggled side to side. Whatever he was doing, he better have a damn good reason or else Chenle would kick him.
He didn't comment on it, relieved when Jisung suddenly stopped but that relief was short-lived the moment he felt the other’s larger foot slowly nudge his ones. And after a while of doing that continuously, he rubbed their legs together, and that's when Chenle finally took the painful hint.
"Jisung, are you horny?"
"Why’d you say it like that? Couldn’t you have said it more like, 'Jisung, are you willing to have the blowjob I so desperately wanted to give you before dinner? Yeah, about that, I was planning to choke on your dick for dinner'? That would've been more fitting, honestly. It would’ve also been entertaining to hear."
Chenle flamed red, his body going hot as he sat up and looked down at Jisung. That stupid smirk on his face he wanted to sink to the bottom of his skull, but he was right. He had been desperate and even though he should've felt like yelling at the other, he couldn't help but slowly nod.
"Well, since you asked the question for me, I'll answer for you. 'Yes. Yes, a blowjob from the one and only Zhong Chenle who my cousin wants to have would make my day.' You're welcome."
Jisung suddenly sat up, an angry look on his face as he grabbed Chenle's jaw and leaned closer towards him.
"Never mention my cousin again. Not in front of me with that context."
