I always felt drawn to the woods, beautiful leaves, winding rivers and streams, silents everywhere. In my opinion it was the best place in Derry Maine you could ever be. I was sitting upon a branch admiring the view.

It was so high up that you could see everything from the school to my house. I've made a few friends along the way. Friends that you'll never find anywhere else in the world. Funny, charming, and they'll stick to you like glue.

But this isn't just the beginning of my life, no sir. This is just the start of a brand-new chapter. But let me begin from the beginning.

And this my dear friends is that beginning...

“Come finish collecting these bags of yours darling!” my mum shouts at me from the front patio

“I'll be there shortly! Just got to finish arranging these boxes in here” I shout back.

As I walk to the front lawn and up the stairs to the door, I wonder to myself what will Derry Maine be like? Will I enjoy it. Well of course I'm going to miss a few things here but there're two things I'm definitely not going to miss.

One — This house and all of its bad history

Two — My father and his abuse he's
called myself and mum

“I've got them” I yell out to my mum who's just got the moving van started

“Right! I'm all packed, how long do you think it should take us to arrive out our new house?” I ask my mum as I climbed into the car seat.

“Oh probably about 2-3 hours from now, but don't worry we'll get there just before sunset” mum told me whole she took the van into reverse

“Okay, well in that case I'm going to have a sleep” I closed my eyes with darkness closing around me
