Extras: Family Vacation 6

-At The Water Park-

Morgan's POV

"Your door automatically locks when you leave so all your stuff will be safe in here, enter seven-one-six-seven to re-enter, the button that controls the blinds is on the wall, the fridge and microwave are right here, and this button will call the help desk which is also where you can order food. Any questions?" smiles the very very overly energetic worker lady who showed us to our VIP box.

"No ma'am but thank you so much." smiles Hope thankfully.

"My pleasure! Have a wonderful day here at The Rapids!" The lady leaves and Carli mocks her happiness making us all laugh.

"Carl." chuckles Hope shoving her in the shoulder. "Stop that it's mean." She rolls her eyes and takes off her shirt revealing her bikini top. The rest of us follow suit with shedding our clothes. "Jules you need sunscreen." She groans but walks closer to her Mom so she can spray her down. "Mally you too sugar plum."

"But Honey!" she whines pouting. Hope glances at her unimpressed and beckons her over. Mal sighs but goes, dragging her feet, obediently. "I wanted to tan."

"And I don't want you to have skin cancer." frankly states Hope rubbing some of the stuff on Mallory's face. When she finishes she wipes her hands on her sides. "Moe c'mere." I go to her and let her coat me in the spray. "Thank you for being the only one not to argue." She smiles at me.

"Chris you need some too buddy." says Carli nodding over at the bottle Hope set on the counter. Christen eyes her mother but puts it on. "Alright now that that's taken care of you guys are free to go but let's all meet back here at twelve thirty for lunch."

"We go in pairs," says Hope definitely showing her mom side, "not alone. Capiche?"

"Capiche." we all chorus back. Christen, JJ, Mallory and I all walk out together and head in the direction of the slides while Carli and Hope go towards the wave pool.

"I call Moe!" yells Mal grabbing my arm and pulling me away. "We'll see you later Mama! Bye Jules!"

"Bye!" screams back JJ waving at us and starting to force Press in the opposite direction.

"Wait Mal-" starts Christen but her voice fades as we get farther away from each other. Mallory suddenly stops walking and I kinda trip over my feet as we stop. I glance at her and notice her staring at something.

"What are you-" I trail off as I follow her gaze to a gianormous green slide. "Oh." I gulp.

"You ready?" she asks with a mischievous smirk on her face. I match her smirk and nod.

"Oh yeah." We both go to the start of the line and show our passes to the worker. He smiles and lets us go up the express line. After climbing the billion steps we get to the front and immediately get put in float with Mal in the front and me behind her. The life guard waits for the green light to flash before giving us a push into the dark tunnel. Mal screams the entire way down making me laugh hysterically. We get spit out into the wading pool with a huge splash. Once we climb out of the raft I see a red and blue one next beside the one we just got off. "Mals!" I yell hitting her in the shoulder. She looks over so I point at it excitedly. "Can we go on that one?" She smiles widely and nods.

"Let's go!"

-few hours and slides later-

"MoMo?" questions Mallory sounding less excited than earlier and tugging on my hand. I turn back and look at her. "I'm hungry." she says slightly whining.

"We're going to go eat right after this one." I tell her. The big orange and blue funnel slide is finally open and I've been waiting since we got here to have a go on it. We're almost to it and she's complaining. She stops walking effectively pulling me to a halt because we're holding hands. "Mal c'mon!" I demand starting to become impatient. "If we don't hurry we're not going to have time or we're going to be late and then we'll get in trouble." I desperately pull on her hand but she doesn't budge. "Mallory c'mon!"

"No!" she shouts really loud causing a few people to turn and stare. "I don't want to!" I feel myself start to blush as more strangers turn to stare at us. "I want to go eat! I'm hungry!"

"Okay okay!" I say in hopes of calming her down. "Let's just go back to the room then." I try to walk in that direction but she stops me again by not moving. "Mallory seriously c'mon. Everybody is watching us."

"No I want chicken fingers!" she yells motioning over to the stand that sells them.

"We'll get them when we get back." I say trying not to sound too annoyed with her because of all the onlookers. I try to move again but she digs her heels into the concrete. "Mallory!" I groan now completely over it. My parents would kill me if I ever acted out like this.

"I want them now!"

Christen's POV

"Okay okay I got one!" says JJ still laughing at my joke about the tuna, piano, and glue. "There were two fish in a tank. One of them turns to the other and ask, 'How do you drive this thing?'" I break down in giggles as we continue to walk to where we're supposed to meet everyone. I see this crowd of people a little further ahead of us and tap Julie to see if she notices, "Why are they staring at two girls?"

"Huh?" I ask confused. We get a little closer so I get a better look. My eyes almost bug out of my head as  I recognise the two people in the center. "Oh gosh. It's Moe and Mal." Julie and I exchange a quick knowing look and quickly walk towards them. I push my way through the people to try to figure out what's going on.

"Thank God!" exclaims Morgan pulling her hand roughly out of Mal's. "She's having a melt down over chicken fingers!" she tells me sounding exasperated. I turn to Mallory and give her a confused face. I pick her up to try to get her to stop so the people will leave. I bounce her as Moe starts to explain to me what happened, "We were going to the slide and she just stopped so I told her to come on so we could ride it and not be late for lunch but she refused because she was hungry. So I told her we could go back to the room but she didn't want to do that either. Then she saw the chicken fingers and now she's crying!"

"Alright, alright." I say to Moe nodding to show I understand. "You're okay. Calm down." I tell her looking her in the eyes. I literally see the frustration oozing out of her skin. Why did Tobin have to get grounded today? "C'mon let's just all go back, okay?" I suggest putting one arm around her shoulders and balancing Mal on my hip. "Jules." I call snapping her out of her trance. The crowd sorta parts so we can get through. Luckily we aren't that far from our room so I can carry Mallory the whole way. Julie punches in the code and we all go in. Thank goodness Mom and Mama aren't here yet because I really don't want their input on how I'm raising my daughter at the moment. I go and sit Mallory down on a chair at the table and kneel down in front of her. "Mals I need you to stop crying." I tell her trying my hardest to sound stern. "You need to be big girl. Stop it."

"Ma-Ma I-I-" Mallory hiccups profusely as she struggles to get her words out. The door opens meaning my mothers are back wonderful. I don't even bother to turn around not wanting their two cents on the matter. I hear Mom ask what's wrong and Moe jump right into telling the story. "I-I w-wa-wa-"

"Mallory Diane you did wha-"

"Mama hush!" I snap putting my hand up. "I've got this! Please let me do this!" I lock my eyes back with Mal's and take deep breaths hoping she will mirror me and calm down. "Mally breathe. You're going to get sick if you don't stop."

Carli's POV

I clench my jaw as I watch Christen try to console Mallory to keep myself from yelling. My daughter just told me to be quiet. Oh no no no. That is not how we roll here in the Solo-Llyod household. She's also coddling my granddaughter who apparently decided to throw a fit, in the middle of the park, over some chicken. "Mallory you're about to go to time out." warns Christen.

"N-No Ma-ma! I-I-I-" sobs Mal kicking her feet and twisting in her chair. Christen grabs her waist and tries to hold her still.

"You may go stand in the corner or you may calm down. Those are your options." says Chris. "If you calm down Mama will get you chicken fingers for lunch but you have to be a big girl." she bargains. Where did she learn this? Neither myself or Hope have ever given her or her sisters options when they misbehave. I can't take this anymore. I go and kneel down next to Christen and look at Mallory sternly.

"Mallory Diane." I say getting her attention. Her crying gets quieter just by me talking to her because she knows I don't put up with this. "You need to dry up your tears and act your age. You have two minutes to calm yourself down all by yourself, if you're still crying after that you are going to stand in the corner while the rest of us enjoy our lunch and then you are going to get a spanking. Do you understand me?" She nods her head and tries to breath through her nose. "Verbal answer young lady."

"Y-Y-Y-Yes ma-am." she sniffles trying to calm herself. Christen glares at me while I stand back up. I walk back over to Hope and the other two to discuss what we're going to eat. We all decide on just ordering a pizza and a few salads. As Hope orders I see Chris out of the corner of my eye talking to Mallory and holding her hands. I decide to bite my tongue and not correct her so Christen doesn't give me a reason to punish her.

"Are you calm now?" I ask Mallory from across the room. She looks up from Chris and nods her head quietly. Christen stands up and holds her on her hip. I observe Mal lay her head down on her shoulder and her blinking her eyes hard every few seconds as a sign that she's starting to nod off. Chris slowly sways around the room with her until our food arrives. Hope and I get everyone's separated and on plates and the put on the table. I place Mal's at the same spot I put Chris's since she's probably going to sit with her. When they sit down I notice Mallory make a funny face at her pizza but I ignore it. Moe says the blessing and we all begin to eat except for Mal.

"Mallory you need to eat." says Hope. "You've hardly had anything all day."

"I- don't want it." she sniffles tearing up.

"What do you mean you don't want it?" I question annoyed. Christen and Julie also don't get the choice to be picky about their meals. JJ used to be but Aitch and I straightened that out real quick. She turns her face from me and looks at Chris.

"Mama y-you said I could have chic-ken fin-gers." she hiccups starting to cry again. "I-I don't w-want pizza!"

"Shh honey." coddles Chris bouncing her on her knee. Mallory starts to full on sob and wail all over again pushing me past my breaking point.

"Nah uh!" scolds Hope surprising me by standing up and pulling Mal of Christen's lap by her arm. "You just ruined this for everyone." She says angrily towards the crying teen and swatting her bottom hard. "Everybody clean up and get your stuff. We're going home."

"Aw but Mom!" protest Julie. Hope glares at her effectively shutting her up.

Hope's POV

"Car get my stuff please. I'm taking this one to the car." I say gripping Mallory tighter and taking her out before Christen can get a say. I have half the mind to take Chris over my knee when we get home for not properly parenting this child and allowing her to get like this. I stick Mallory in the front row of our van ignoring her sobbing. I climb in the driver's seat and drive to the entrance to pick everyone up. "Mallory Diane you better dry it up young lady. I am not like your mothers. I will spank you right here in this parking lot if I have to." I explain looking through the rear veiw at her. I pull up and everyone climbs in. Moe and JJ go all the way to the back trying to get as far away from Carli and I as they can while Christen sits next to Mal trying to soothe her some more. "Christen Annemarie I am so disappointed in you." I tell my oldest pulling out onto the street. "Your Mama and I raised you better than this."

"If you would just spank her Chris this wouldn't be happening." adds Carli. "You have spoiled her rotten and now she's the boss of you. If you or your sister was the one to act out like her I would've spanked you in the room and then when we got home you would be picking a switch from all those bushes in the back and I would tear up your tail. You would never ever even think about doing it again."

"Well I'm not you and Mal's not Jay or me so I will be handling this as I see fit alright Mama?" she shoots back angrily. "Believe it or not Tobin and I are her parents not you and Mom."

"Obviously." scoffs Carli. I keep my mouth closed and drive.

"This is dumb that we have to leave." I hear Julie mumble in the back. "We didn't even do anything wrong. Mal's the one being a brat."

"Julie Beth!" I shout sternly. "Stop talking! If I hear one more word come out of you you're getting punished."

"It's true." she sasses under her breath but I still manage to catch it.

"That's it!" I snap turning onto our street. "Pick a switch before you go inside."

"But Mom!" she argues yells as I park us in the driveway.

"Don't you dare talk back to me!" I warn absolutely fuming. "Go!" She quickly scrambles out of the van followed by Chris and Mal and the Moe in the back looking terrified. I bet it doesn't get this hectic when she's just with Jrue and Cheney.

Tobin's POV

I hear the door open so I look at my clock to see what time it is. I wonder why they're back so early. I hop out of my bed and open my door to see a very very angry looking Christen Press dragging our puffy eyed, sobbing daughter up the steps behind her. "CP what's-"

"No shut up." she growls pushing Mallory into my arms. "She decided to have a meltdown when she was with Moe because she was hungry in the middle of the park, drawing a huge crowd, and then throw a tantrum because she didn't get chicken fingers. And I would handle it, I promise I would, but my mothers are driving me insane and I just can't do it right now so you need to take her. I need you to fix that." she motions to the crying heap in my arms and then rubs her face. "I'll be in my room ignoring them." she then motions to all of downstairs. Before I can ask anything she turns on her heel and goes in her room closing the door with a slam. I usher Mal into my room. I sit down on my bed and hold her in my lap hoping to calm her down.

"Baby this is Mami's fault."I sigh resting my head on top of hers. "You didn't get a full night's rest because of me." I start to rock back and forth which actually gets her sobs to stop. She continues to cry but no where near as hard as she was. "Even though you were sleepy Mals that doesn't give you a free pass to have a fit. I'm disappointed in you Mally girl because you promised me before you left you'd be good and listen to Mama and Honey and Ciabah but you didn't do that did you?" She shakes her head no still sniffling and hiccuping. I sit her up and wipe some tears away. "Because you threw a tantrum I'm guessing everyone had to come home?" She nods signalling me to continue. "You owe everyone a huge apology tonight at supper. Also since you were so bad today I'm taking your phone and I'm going to keep it until we go home and you're grounded from all other electronics to so no more movies or Fifa. Do you understand Mami?"

"Y-Yes ma'am." she stutters laying back on my shoulder. I kiss her forehead.

"I love you Mally-O." I stand up while holding her and pull my sheets down. I realise she's still in her swimsuit so I give some of my clothes to change into. I turn around as she gets dressed and turn back around when she taps me on the shoulder. I let her lay down and I tuck her in knowing I can't stay because I need to go check on Moe. Ugh I've got to tell her about Laur calling and she and Jrue want us to FaceTime them. This is the longest day of my life and it's not even over yet.
