PEGGY POV

College has been great, I mean classes haven't started and that can change a lot. Alex, Herc, Laf, and Aaron treat me like a sister and it's really fun. Theo and Maria are amazing friends. Me and John have a great relationship (as friends get your head out of the gutter) and I may or may not have a crush on him. My sisters are great and everything seems to be working out.

Although today everyone is leaving me. Eliza and Alex have a date. Maria has something to do and won't tell me what, she does that a lot. And Angie and Theo are having a shopping date, I would go too but knowing them it will be a 5 hour shopping trip. No thank you. So I decided to text Laf, Herc, and John.

I walked over to John's dorm, it didn't take me long because it's only a few doors down, so I was the first there.

"Hey Pegs" John immediately opened the door.

"Hey Johnny" I hugged him then sat on his bed.

We talked for a few minutes then Laf and Herc knocked on the door and I answered it.

"Wassup Ms. I-Was-Left-All-Alone" Herc laughed at what he said and I rolled my eyes.

"I think you mean Mrs. Laurens, mon ami" Laf whispered just loud enough that I heard it.

"E-Excuse me?!" I hid my face in the sleeves of the yellow sweatshirt I was wearing to hide my blush. The boys laughed and John walked into the room.

"Hey guys" John looked at them them looked at me. "Umm, you ok Pegs?"

I nodded and glared at Herc and Laf because they were still laughing. They whispered something into John's ear, but they actually did it quietly. John's face turned red and he smacked them.

"Shut up!"

"NEVER!!" Herc yelled.

"Ok what do you guys wanna do?" Laf asked, with his thick accent.

"I didn't think that far" I said and they all looked at me. "What? All I wanted was to not be alone, I didn't plan what to do!"

They laughed and John suggests "Why don't we watch movies, Me and Alex have tons of movies"

John showed us where the movies are and Herc immediately said "ooh horror movies!"

I plopped down next to Herc and said "I love horror movies!" We high-fived.

"O-oh no, Those are Alex's, I HATE horror movies." John stuttered.

Laf looked at John then at us and said, "I like horror movies"

"Ok you can deal John!" I excitedly picked a movie and put it on.

Me and John were on the couch while Herc and Laf were laying in the floor.

Time skip to a scary scene because I don't really watch horror movies so I can't explain one (ﾟ'ω'ﾟ)ﾟ

John gripped onto me and whimpered. I blushed every time he did it. We were basically cuddling and I'm not going to lie, I enjoyed every second of it. Although apparently I have a tendency to fall asleep on John because about halfway through the movie I fell asleep.

"Pegs wake up" I heard John's soothing voice say.

I groaned a bit and woke up. I looked at him and smiled.

*click*

I turned to see Laf and Herc taking pictures of us.

"HEY! CAN I NOT HAVE ONE MOMENT OF YOU NOT TAKING PICTURES!!" John screamed at them.

"Give me the phones." I said staring right at them.

"Personne ne peut manquer!" Laf said sticking his tongue out at me.

"What does that mean?" John asked.

"I don't know but I know it had something to do with No" Herc said.

I jump off the back of the couch grabbing the phones and landing on the floor, not prettily though.

"Ow." I managed to say from the floor. "That didn't work as well as I planed but I have the phones!" All three boys erupted into laughter.

John got off the couch, leaned over me and said "Are you ok?"

Our faces were inches apart and I felt my face heat up. "Uh ummm"

"Your face is pretty red"

Herc cleared his throat and said "I wonder why"

My face just kept becoming a darker red.

"Mon ami, you are very close to her" Laf said causing Herc to burst out laughing.

John's face turned almost as red as mine. "W-well I just..." He quickly stood up and helped me up.

I guess when I fell I twisted that same ankle again because I stood up and I friggen hurt. "Shit," I mumble.

"What's wrong?" John looked at me concerned.

"I, um, think I might've twisted my ankle again" I nervous laughed.

In one swift motion John picked me up and set me on the couch making butterflies appear in my stomach.

"Can I look at it?" John looked at me and I nodded my head. He rolled up my jeans and looked at my foot.

"Does it hurt when I move it?" He asked moving my foot around. I shook my head. "Ok does it hurt when I push on it?" He pushed on both sides of my ankle and I winced. "Ok, you still have your ankle brace right?"

"Y-yeah"

"Ok wear it for like a week and see how you feel." John looked at me and I nodded in response.

"I thought you were an animal doctor, not a human one" Herc laughed a little.

"Well it's not that different, I mean animals can sprain ankles too, if they have them." John shrugged.

I walked to my dorm after a long day doing random stuff with, John, Laf and Herc. My foot still hurt a lot but I ignored it.

"Maria, are you here?" I walked into the dorm, hoping she was so I could ask her about her always having to do something that she can't tell us about.

"Peggy, I'm so glad you're here, I really need your help." She almost sounded scared.

"Ok, what's up?"

"You know James Reynolds, right?"

"Yeah, aren't you dating him?" I had no idea why she was dating him but she was.

"Um... yeah, but he... well... he... I'll just show you" she took off her shirt and long skirt leaving her in a sports bra and shorts. I gasped. Her while body was full of bruises, cuts, burns, and tons of other scars.

"Maria... Is James doing all of this?"

"Y-yeah" she looked like she was about to cry and I don't blame her. "You can't tell anyone, but I need help getting away from him. I haven't slept in forever because he beats me so bad the pain takes over."

"Ok, I'll help don't worry" I hugged her and she softly cried into my shoulder.

Me and Maria came up with a plan so she could break up with James. And I calmed her down so she feel asleep. Eventually I drifted off to sleep too.
