PEGGY POV

I walked into my dorm shortly after my conversation with John. I saw a girl unpacking, probably my roommate. She looked a lot like me but she was taller and her hair was more wavy than curly. She wore a black long sleeved shirt with a red skirt and mesh tights. I saw her boots beside the door. (Her outfit⬇️⬇️)

"Oh hi" she turned and noticed me standing there.

"Hi! I'm Peggy Schuyler, your roommate!" I stuck my hand out for her to shake.

"M-Maria, Maria Lewis" she shyly smiled and slowly took my hand. "It's nice to meet you Ms. Schuyler."

"It's nice to meet you too! But please call me Peggy" I giggled a little as we let go of each other's hands.

"Oh, ok, well you can call me Maria" Maria smiled.

"Do you need help unpacking?" I asked.

"I'm almost done but thanks for offering!"

"Ok well I'm going back to my sisters, I'll see you soon ok!" I smiled as I walked out the dorm and waved.

"Bye!" Maria waved back and smiled.

MARIA POV

I finished unpacking about 20 minutes after Peggy left. I saw a phone light up out if the corner of my eye. I felt my pocket (yes my skirt has a pocket, you're jealous. MARIA!! SORRY NOT SORRY!) and my phone was still there. I picked up the phone and the lock screen was all three Schuyler sisters, it must be Peggy's. Someone called her phone, it was Angelica.

"Hello?" I answered it just incase it was important.

"Peggy?" I'm guessing Angelica thought it was Peggy at first.

"Um, no I'm her roommate, she said she was going to see you and your sister like 20 minutes ago and left her phone." My voice was a little shaky, I'm not the greatest with new people.

"Oh my goodness." Her voice sounded really worried. "ALEXANDER CALM DOWN WE WILL FIND THEM" I heard her yell.

"Um is Peggy not with you guys?" I asked concerned.

"We can't find her or John Laurens, he was with her before." She somehow still seemed contained even though she was clearly freaking out. "Here come to dorm 431 and you can help us"

"O-ok I'll be right there" I was definitely freaking out now, even though I had just mer this girl.

"Oh by the way I'm Angelica Schuyler" I knew that but I guess logically it could have been her or the middle sister.

"Maria Lewis, I'm heading over now"

"Ok, see you in a few" Angelica hung up.

I quickly ran out the dorm, keeping mine and Peggy's phone just incase. The dorm is a floor above mine but to be faster I just went up the stairs, I have no idea if there's a line for the elevator or not.

JOHN POV

After I talked to Peggy and she went to her dorm I went up to my dorm to grab something really quick. I walked out of my dorm and to the elevator, and then Peggy walks out of her dorm.

"Hey Peggy!" I smiled a the beautiful curly haired girl.

"John? I thought you were with my sisters and Alex" she giggled a little.

"I came to my dorm to grab something" the elevator beeped and the door opened, we walked on and surprisingly no one what in there.

We only needed to go down one floor so it wasn't going to take long right? No. It went halfway through our one floor ride and stopped. The lights went out and the emergency lights went on.

"Oh no" Peggy's voice was unsteady and screamed fear.

"It's ok we can call for help" I grabbed my phone and "F*CK!! It's dead!"

"Ok, I'll call for help" Peggy reached for her phone and her face went pale. "I-It's not here... I-I could've sworn..." She melted into the ground. "John what do we do?"

"Well there's not much we can do, the emergency button isn't working, dang they really need to check these things." I tried my best to stay calm.

"O-ok"

I sat down next to her and put my arm around her. Peggy looked up at me and smiled. "I guess we just hang tight until someone finds us" Her smile faded.

"Yeah" I sighed.

Peggy laid her head on my shoulder and my heart fluttered. Thank goodness it was dark because my checks turned red and I know it. She looked really tired. "Peggy, are you ok, you look tired" I figured it wasn't a big deal but maybe she could sleep a little instead of worrying.

"Yeah, I didn't get much sleep last night. I stayed up late packing and SOMEONE had to be early so I had to wake up early. Plus, it's been a long day" Peggy yawned right after she said that.

"Why don't you try to sleep a bit? I mean we're probably going to be here a while." I tried my best not to sound scared on that last part. "A-And you can use me as a pillow if you'd like" My face became a darker red as I said that.

"Ok, thanks" Peggy weakly smiled then put her head back on my shoulder and fell fast asleep. I watched her for a minute then fell asleep too.

ELIZA POV

"Alex I'm sure they're ok, if anything they're probably together at least." I tried calming down Alex, who was scared to death that he couldn't find his best friend, but it was hard when I was scared that my sister was nowhere to be found. Neither of them were answering their phones and that was unusual, then we figured out Peggy didn't have her phone. Someone knocked in the door, pulling out of my thoughts.

"It must be Peggy's roommate, I told her to come help us." Angie said as she went to the door.

"H-Hi, you must be Angelica" the girl said as she walked in, funny she looked a lot like Peggy.

"Yes, Maria, right?" Angie was trying her best to be calm and well she was doing pretty good.

"Yes, have you figured anything out?" Maria had a slight worrisome tone.

"No, this is my sister Eliza and that's Alex." Angie pointed to both of us on the couch.

After a while of looking and calling people we decided to go look on the third floor, taking the stairs because there's always a line for the elevator. We checked Peggy and Maria's dorm again just incase. Alex took us to his and John's dorm to see if they were in there. Nothing but a turtle in a cage and a bird in a cage. We checked the whole floor. Nothing.

"Guys" Alex said his face lighting up a bit. "The elevator!"

"Alex we've been avoiding it for a reason" I said while Angie stared at Alex confused for a minute.

"THE ELEVATOR!!" Maria screamed making me jump a bit.

"What do you mean?" I asked Maria and Alex.

"Omg you're right!!" Angie suddenly figured out what they were thinking about and now I'm very confused.

"Betsy, we've been avoiding the elevator, what if they got stuck in it or something?!" Alex seemed excited now.

We all ran towards the elevator and it wasn't working, and it wouldn't open, so we called 911.

PEGGY POV

John and I woke up to the sound of the elevator door being banged on.

"PEGGY?!" It sounded like Angie.

"JOHN?!" That sounded like Alex.

"GUYS?!" John yelled back as the door was being pulled open.

"Peggy, John! You guys are ok!" Eliza stuck her hand down to pull us up.

"Lizzy!" I grabbed her hand and she pulled me up. I hugged my sister as Alex pulled John up.

"How'd you find us?" I asked as I hugged Angie and Maria.

"Actually we were avoiding the elevator because of the line until Alex thought about it." Angie said.

"Yeah Alex was seriously freaking out, does he have other friends?" Maria asked and Eliza giggled.

"H-HEY!" Alex stomped his foot.

"Yeah, I'm just closest to him" John smiled as he said that and I couldn't help but smile at his pride.

"Well what'd you guys do in there" Alex teased.

"Nothing!" Me and John screamed at the same time. I looked away from everyone because I knew my face was red. I mean I literally fell asleep on top of John.

"Sure~" Angie nudged me.

"I hate you guys" I muttered.

"Oh do you guys have KayChat?" (I have no clue what that is but I just made it up😂) Alex asked.

"Yeah!" I smiled excitedly while typing out numbers into Alex's phone.

"Yo, we should introduce them to Laf and Herc" John said to Alex.

"Yeah! (We'll do that in the next chapter tho. ALEXANDER HAMILTON I SWEAR TO GOD. Welp the author is going to kill me)" Alex smiled.
