On one faithful night, an infant life completely changed. It all happened right years ago,how Lord Enma came to find the child.

Eight years ago:

"Stupid baby! You ruin everything! Now I hope you get eaten!" A lady laid a baby girl on the rock of Mount Springs

"If we never had her,then we be living in luxury!" A man shouted, clenching his fists,almost like he wanted to hit the baby

The baby was a few months old,she had grown hair,hazel eyes. She wore a heart print onesie and a small hat. Her tiny body shook from the cold breeze from the area,her hazel eyes went up with droplets. Crawling to her mother,her heart pleading for a warm hug.

Instead of a hug,the little one got a push.

"Away you life wreaker!" The last thing that her mother said before both her and her husband left

Now alone,all the little one could do was crawl,hoping that someone would find her. All her crawling leading her to a cave with a lot fire. Drawn to the warmth of the blaze,the baby entered the cave and sat close to the fire.

Venturing through the forest took a toll on her fragile body. Multiple cuts,small bruises,and specks of blood cover her face as well as all of her body. She cried the whole time that she crawled.

Grrr!!

The sails and scent of blood attracted a lion to the baby. A lion that had a mane of fire and walked on all fours. It licked its lips,knowing it would have an easy meal of the baby.

"So,you think eating a defenseless infant is worthy of a beast like you?" A voice interrupted the lion from bitting the child

The owner of the voice was Lord Enma,he quickly kicked the beast away from the child. He then scooped the wailing baby in his arms,he looked at her with sympathetic eyes. How could one so young have this happen to them? He had to help her,then punish those who do this to their own child.

"Shh... It's ok,Bloom. Dad is here" He gave the child a name,claiming her as her own

The baby cried stopped at his soothing words,she was comfortable in his arms like the warmest place in the world.

"Da..da" She babbled then fell into a deep slumber

At the palace:

Zanzel awaited for his king to return from the human world. Despite the former king's wishes for yokai and humans never to enact with each other,Lord Enma does it anyway.

The castle doors open,Lord Enma entered,his usual happy go lucky smile replace with a look of seriousness that only King Enma had.

"I presume that your visit to the human world did not go As you expected" Zanzel took a notice to the small infant in his arms,this raised questions.

"This is Bloom Yumi,she is now my daughter" Enma healed the little one injuries,trying not to awake her from her sleep

"A human?! My liege this is unheard of! A yokai can not raise a human child,it will cause panic within the yokai world" Zanzel was against such an act,never in the King Tribe have an event like this occurred

"Zanzel! This child was abandoned on Mount Springs,this shows me that humans have a darker side then I could ever imagine. By saving this child,I hope that she is saved from such a fate. My ancestors can hate me,though this child is now apart of the Enma Bloodline,Understood?!" Zanzel was shocked by his king anger, though his reasoning did make sense.

" Yes,my liege" He bowed,his felt doubt about this child though trusted his king's judgement.

"Though you are right,We'll have to find a suitable home to raise her"He gazed at one last time at the baby

Her sleeping face was adorable,a face that made him smile.

This was the start of Bloom's new life.

After hearing this,Hove felt two things. His instincts to protect Bloom grew more. The other was a new view on the dark side of humans.

Life isn't all kindness,some have dark pasts that make them the way they are. So try not to let the world or others change you. Be the you that you are.
