Pillars and Pebbles

"I'm bored!"

Memory looked at Scribe, noticing they had said it at the same time. They both started laughing and fell of of the pillars.

"Three moons." Temple glared at them, which only made them laugh harder. Temple may have been a few minutes older then the others, but he was still the smallest, and when he glared, it didn't have any affects that he would want. "Can't you even be serious for a few minutes?"

"We've been here for hours, and all we could do was throw pebbles at each other!" Memory grabbed the pillar and flapped his tiny wings a bit to help him up.

"You could've studied the scrolls!" He continued watching them and Memory had to suppress a giggle.

"We finished reading them already..."

"And I suppose that accounts for both of you, doesn't it?" Still they tried not to fall again.

"Yes! Of course it does. They only gave us one!" Scribe looked back down at the parchment they had been given. It wouldn't look good if they were rolling around on the floor. He looked at his sister and she did the same. To end the conversation, they pretended to be rereading the information, checking for anything they missed.

Temple shot one last wary glance at them and started to read the scroll for what seemed like the 999,999,999th time. Once Scribe was sure that he was immersed in the words, he threw a pebble at Memory then quickly looked back at the script.

"SCRIBE! How many times must I tell you, stop playing around! I will send you to the BloodWings!" Century was a bulky RuinWing with wings even smaller than Scribe's. He was the queen's most trusted companion, the general of her army, and... Their father.

"Exactly 386 times." He always was bored, so he would do really any activity at all. Once he had played back all the memories of his father telling him that and counted them all up. "Not counting this one."

"Well come now. You must now be taken to Queen Flare."

Lol no, they are being taken to the ScorchWing Queen, I didn't just mix up the names. Welp, (:< .
