It was a cold rainy night in Judgement City. A few people strayed outside in quick paces to get out of the rain and to wherever they needed to get to.

Out of these people one stood out that was leaning against the cold wet bricks of a building. She had a light jacket on with a few pins with only a bra underneath, and shorts.

Her amber eyes watched as everyone went by giving her weird looks that she brushed off while reaching a clawed hand into her pocket and pulling out a cigarette and placing it in her mouth. She brought her thumb up and lit it on fire with her magic, taking a long drag and blowing it out.

She pushed herself away from the wall to start walking down the sidewalk. Her tail flicked behind her as she kept the cig in her mouth.

After a moment of walking she paused as the air shifted next to her.

"Lilith."

She took a drag, "Chronos," she purred this out, blowing smoke towards them. They waved it away before fixing their glasses.

"You've been busy."

"Barely." Lilith murmured, leaning against a wall and lifting her head up to feel the rain in her fur. "What brings you around here anyways? Never seen you as the type to come around these parts." She chuckled to herself, focusing her amber eyes on them.

"Business, as per usual." They crossed their arms, "I've been looking for you specifically."

"Wow I feel special," she grabbed the rest of her cig and burned it fully up, flicking away the ashes. "What do you need from me?"

Chronos hummed and paced in front of her, "We have a... special case at The Lab."

At that Lilith's mood completely shifted, her ears pinned her fur raised up and her lips raised in a snarl. "You're crazy if you think I'd go back there, I already told you my thoughts about that place."

"Unfortunately I'm not taking no as an answer Lilith, I'm sorry."

And before she could argue they grabbed her arm and whisked them away from that spot to a new one.

A large building stood in front of the two, cold large doors at the entrance.

Lilith whipped her arm away from Chronos, hissing at them. "You try that again I'm gonna have your bones as a new chew toy." 

Chronos simply opened the doors, brushing themself off. Lilith huffed angrily, a small trail of smoke leaving her mouth as she shoved past them to go inside. Chronos followed behind her then matched her pace by her side as they walked the long winding hallways.

"So why am I here?"

"You were requested."

"That doesn't answer my question."

"..."

Lilith grumbled at their silence but continued walking. Since she was familiar with the place it didn't take her long to find the main room she was looking for, pushing the door open and walking inside like she owned the place while Chronos followed in suit.

They were met with quite the sight, a angry wolf and a scruffy snake like creature stared the two down.

"Chronos I'm kind of busy here." The wolf growled this out, showing her teeth in a slight snarl.

"Em, I apologize." Chronos gave a sort of bow, lowering their head to her gaze.

"It's okay Em, we did ask for them." The scruffy man spoke softly, placing a hand on her arm which made her soften her gaze to look down to him.

Lilith leaned against the wall with a huff. "I'd love to know why the fuck I was even brought here." Her amber eyes glared at the three only to widen slightly when Em was suddenly in front of her.

"Shut it pup. You don't have the right to be asking questions here." Em held Lilith up by her jacket, despite the size difference she was quite strong, "now be nice. I don't want to deal with your shit just as much as you don't want to deal with mine." She gave a fake smile before letting her go.

Lilith growled low, brushing off her jacket and fixing it but not saying a word back to Em even as much as she wanted to. She simply lowered her head and ears in submission knowing she wasn't going to win this fight.

"Snafer. Can you grab Gh0st and bring Lilith here to cell number 1330 please." Em grumbled as she walked over and paced by a table.

"Yes ma'am."

The heavy metal cell door slammed shut behind her. The room was cold, her breath could be seen in small puffs of smoke and her fur was raised on end.

She still hadn't been told much and had been forced to interact with one of The Lab's patients.

She formed a small ball of fire in her hands in hopes to warm up but it faltered and disintegrated into ashes. Lilith shivered, pulling her jacket closer to her body.

"What a time to be wearing shorts.." she mumbled to herself and glanced around the room. It was a basic but large white room. Bed in the corner, closed off area in the other corner that led to a small bathroom.

On the bed though was him. He showed no signs of having eyes but was staring directly at her. She felt her body tense and freeze up, her breath quickening.

He stood up off the bed, feet a bit unsteady but not at the same time. He slowly walked towards her then started pacing around her.

"Hmm... not what I was expecting."

Lilith stayed silent, ears pinned to her head.

"....hmmm." He stopped his pacing once he was back in front of her, grabbing her chin roughly with his clawed hands to make her look at him. She snarled and instinctively tried to thrash away but faltered when she realized she couldn't. She was stuck in place staring him down.

A creepy smile spread across his face, "you'll do nicely." He murmured this with venom dripping behind the words as he let go of her. "You may speak now."

As soon as he said those words Lilith felt her body relax and could actually move again. "What the fuck." She hissed, amber eyes darkening in color.

"Profane."

"Who the fuck are you?"

"...3rr0r. I am your worst nightmare made into a thing." He giggled then laughed when he saw her face and her uncomfortable stance.

Then suddenly.

He had her shoved against the wall, claws to her throat. She gasped in a breath not having expected this in the blink of an eye.

"You are Lilith, I've been waiting for you. You will be my instrument, my tool. You don't have a choice nor say in this."

Once he finished speaking he opened his mouth wide to writhing green tentacles that splayed out to a gaping pit of sharp teeth. Black smoke trailed out and forced its way into Lilith's mouth and nose.

She felt her mind fade and her vision became blurry. She wanted to scream and struggle anything but nothing happened. Her vision went dark as she became locked into her mind and her body was no longer hers.

3rr0r disintegrated into the smoke and let himself become one with Lilith. She was now his.

He let out a satisfied sigh, flexing his hand into a fist and admiring his work.

"You will be perfect indeed."

He formed a ball of flame like Lilith had tried earlier but this time succeeded with the help of some dark swirling magic. He used both hands to make the ball bigger before blasting the door open.

The room and hallway started flashing red as an alarm blared out. 3rr0r left a decoy of himself in the room before running out past a confused Gh0st.

He made his way through the winding halls only to be stopped in his tracks by Em and Snafer.

"Lilith what the fuck?" Em snarled, pulling a lever on the wall and turning off the alarms.

3rr0r grinned widely and scarily at the two making them step back cautiously.

"Lilith isn't here right now. Get. Out. Of. My. Way." He growled low, smoke trailing from his mouth.

"Em maybe we should..."

"No. I am not letting all this shit go, she's staying here." Em hissed and ran at Lilith only to be easily kicked away into the wall. Snafer stepped back more before concentrating then running at Lilith only to be grabbed by the throat and pinned to the ground.

3rr0r leaned his mouth close to Snafers ear, "Hmph. I expected better from you. Oh well." He roared out, tossing Snafer into the wall while clawing into his throat as he tossed him.

Snafer coughed and spit up blood when he hit the wall, hunching over and holding his hands up to his neck with the gouge marks. Em roared out going to lunge at 3rr0r.

Only to stop when Snafer went, "E-Em... please..." she hissed out, looking between the two before going and kneeling by his side.

3rr0r laughed manically as he vanished from The Lab in a puff of black smoke.

Chronos came running down the hall a second after, eyes widening at the scene before them.

"Em? Snafer?" They questioned,

"Shut up, please just... help me save him." She had her paws pressed up into Snafers throat, trying to keep him from bleeding out.

Chronos nodded going and scooping up Snafer before running down the hall with Em next to them.

Lilith gasped in a breath when she finally woke up out of being controlled by 3rr0r. She was outside her house in the grass, it was still wet. She pushed herself up, looking at her hands that were covered in blood as well as her clothes.

Her breath quickened in panic. "What the fuck happened?!" She quickly went to the door of her house opening it and stepping inside while shutting it tightly behind herself. She walked through her living room straight towards her bathroom, turning the sink on and staring at herself in the mirror.

Her amber eyes stared back at her before shifting into a red and green mix.

"Lilith."

She stepped back in shock, reaching a hand up to her face only to hiss out when it was shoved back down to her side.

"How.."

"You are mine. We have a big plan ahead of us."

The reflection went back to normal after that. Lilith felt her blood boil, smoke trailing from her nose and mouth before she yelled out and punched the mirror cracking it and leaving some shards in her fist.

The blood pooled and dripped down into the white sink, staining it a dark red. She felt her mind become more clear for a moment.

"Fuck, fuck, what the fuck do I do?"

"Okay calm down, first things first." She pulled off her jacket, throwing it into the corner. She pulled out any shards of glass in her fist with a wince and hissed out as more blood dripped down.

She was alone to herself for now.

Her good hand went to turn the shower on, testing the water before stepping in and just letting the water run through her fur to wash away the blood.

She placed her head against the wall hissing out. She had no idea what to do and the only person she knew could help had been dead and gone a while ago.

Tears welled up in her eyes which she quickly wiped away with a snarl. She wasn't weak she could do this by herself.

Lilith made sure all the blood had been washed out of her fur before turning off the shower and stepping out. Her hand grabbed the towel and she started drying herself off while also raising her body temperature for a bit to dry her fur at the same time.

Steam trailed from her once she was done. She took a breath in then let it out to calm herself.

"Okay, fuck, gotta... maybe Chronos can help."

A few minutes passed before Lilith appeared in front of Chronos' house. She took a second, hesitating before going and knocking on the door.

Immediately it opened to Chronos' sister.

"Rora?"

"Lil!! I've missed you, where have you been?" Her bright purple eyes glanced her over while she put her hands on Lilith's jacket. "Nice threads." She giggled but her face fell when she noticed the look on Lilith's.

"Lil..?"

She had tears in her eyes which she was furiously wiping away with her hand. "Sorry, sorry.. I just... is Chronos here?"

Aurora nodded and lightly grabbed Lilith's hand to lead her inside to the living room. "They just came back a few minutes ago, sit down I'll go get them okay?" And she went off to a different part of the house.

Lilith sat on the couch, sighing out and putting her head in her hands. "Fuck..." a pain was throbbing through her skull but she was trying to ignore it and focus on what she was trying to do here.

A minute or two passed before Aurora came back out with Chronos by her side. Lilith looked up to the two, rubbing at her temples with her claws lightly.

"Lilith."

"Chronos."

They stared her down, a unknown look on their face. "I'm surprised you're here after what you did." They stated this like she should've known. But she didn't know anything.

"Did what? Chronos the last thing I remember was your creepy ass patient at The Lab doing something to me I... I don't know what's going on but I feel like I don't have enough time to be myself before it's taken away from me." She looked up to them, a pained look on her face.

Chronos crossed their arms, pressing their clawed hands up to their skull in thought. "Hmm... this is troublesome. Why do you say you 'don't have enough time to be yourself?'"

"He... he did something to me Chronos. He's inside my mind and me. He's planning something... horrible." She hugged herself tightly, ears pinned down. "It's like I'm just a toy to be played with."

Aurora went and sat next to Lilith, gently grabbing her hand and holding it in both of hers. "Lil it's gonna be okay." Her purple eyes stared up softly into her amber ones.

Lilith took a breath, calming herself down before speaking again, "I need help, please. You two are the only ones I know who can help me." She murmured this softly as she tried to keep calm.

"We'll try our best, won't we Chronos?" Aurora looked over to Chronos who now had a slightly worried look on their face but it was quickly replaced with their stoic one. "Of course, we will figure something out. For now I believe you should rest here Lilith."

She gave a nod, gently squeezing Aurora's hand before pulling her own hand away. "Alright I'll crash on the couch, thank you guys."

It was the middle of the night, the only sound heard throughout the house was some quiet snoring inside and the chirping of crickets and croaking of frogs outside.

Lilith had been tossing and turning on the couch for the last hour as she slept, she had a pained look on her face. Her brows were furrowed and her teeth were bared in a snarl.

She finally awoke with a gasp, panting and sitting up. Her claws pressed up at her chest before going up and going through her curly hair. Her amber eyes glanced around the room as she remembered where she was.

"Fuck me..." she murmured while rubbing her eyes lightly. When she pulled her hand away and looked at it to see the black liquid in the faint light from the window. Her heart beat faster. "No no no..."

"Yes."

She doubled over as the pain in her head from earlier came back at full force and even worse then before. She felt her mind fading back again.

"No no please not here please." But of course 3rr0r wouldn't listen to her. She was trapped within her mind once again as he came back into control, sitting himself up straight and flexing out his claws. He purred out, a creepy grin spreading across his face. Black liquid pooled from his eyes and nose.

"Oh Lilith, you made my job so much easier. Bringing me here while they sleep I don't even have to pretend to be you." He giggled and stood up unsteadily. "Hmm. You are really fighting back this time hm? I don't think so." The black liquid pooled more as he pushed her further back into the confines of her own mind.

Once he was satisfied with that he took a few steps before giggling again and walking towards where the bedrooms were that Chronos and Aurora were sound asleep.

His clawed hand rested on the handle of one of the doors. It was a black door decorated it a whole array of galaxy like colors. There were two signatures in the corner of the door. One read 'Aurora' and the other read 'Lil'.

He opened the door slowly and quietly though he didn't really care if she awoke or not.

But she was already awake. She had woken from a bad vision about an hour ago and was sitting up staring wide eyed at the now open door where Lilith stood with her once amber eyes now being tainted red and green.

"Aurora. You know of what's going to happen, don't you? I can see the look in your eyes."

Her purple eyes looked away for a second at that before she looked back towards him as she pushed herself off of the bed and into a standing position. "It doesn't have to happen. You don't have to do this."

He giggled before laughing at that, she stepped back only to be pinned up to the wall with claws at her throat. "It is Death's plan, I do as he commands of me."

She gasped for breath, reaching up to the hands at her throat and digging her fingers in. "Please... you don't... have to."

Now that pissed him off, he growled and bared his teeth as he clawed deep into her throat before tossing her over into the other wall next to her bed. She cried out when she hit the wall. Then her hands pressed up to her throat as she coughed and gasped for breath only to get blood filling her lungs.

3rr0r grinned as his job was complete. "It has been done."

Suddenly he was thrown into the wall and pinned.

"HOW COULD YOU?! HOW DARE YOU!?"

It was Chronos, they had furious tears in their eyes. He started giggling maniacally which then turned into laughing.

"Ah Chronos, so trusting. Here, I'll let you have some words with her." And with that, Lilith was back into control of herself.

The red and green faded from her amber eyes as she glanced around, her eyes widened at the sight of Aurora before she focused in on Chronos in front of her pinning her to the wall.

"Chronos... Chronos you know I would never.."

That earned her side being clawed into and her thrown to the ground. She cried out, hand shakily going to the wound. "IT WASN'T ME!" Her blood boiled with rage and grief.

Chronos hissed out at her, complete and utter rage on their face. They leaned down and grabbed her by the chin to look up into their face. "Get. Out. You only get one chance. The next I see of you, you will die."

Her amber eyes stared into their own. "I..." she trailed off with a hiss and snarl as she knew nothing she said could change their mind, vanishing from that spot.

Chronos spat at the place she had been. "Fuck. Fucking bitch." They quickly went and kneeled next to Aurora's side who was still trying her hardest to stay alive despite how far gone she was.

"Shhh. Shhh it's okay." Their hands gently held and squeezed hers before they brought one hand to rest on her cheek. Her mouth opened as she tried to speak but the only thing that came out was blood.

"I know. I understand. Please rest. I'm sorry." Chronos had tears in their eyes now as her purple ones stared up at them. The color slowly faded as she finally let go. They held her in their arms, completely falling apart as tears and sobs wracked through them.

They were alone now.

A few years would pass of Lilith completely vanishing from existence. Chronos had tried over and over to track her to no avail and had slowly lost all hope of ever avenging Aurora. They only ever stayed cooped up in their house, barely ever coming out.

Today was one of the rare days they were out. Well to be specific it was nighttime. The air was slightly chilly, the leaves on the trees were mixed with all sort of oranges, yellows, greens.

They wove and wound through the streets of the city, getting many strange looks and glances towards them. Eventually they wound up in a slightly busy bar. They walked up to the counter where a wolfish cat mix of a lady was tending. She had a golden nose ring, small fangs poking out of her mouth, her hair was tinted a purple pink mix at the tips.

"Hello there! Don't think I've seen you in here before, how can I treat you on this chilly night?"

"...shot of whiskey, please."

She gave a nod, pulling out a glass and bottle. She placed the glass in front of them then poured the drink into it which they quickly downed and had her pour them another.

As they drunk, a new face came into the bar. Her grey ears perked forward, her golden fangs were bared in a smile as she greeted some people. Her long black tail twitched back and forth behind her, the tip being a bright golden yellow.

Her amber eyes focused in on the barkeeper going up and smiling wide. "S0uL! How's it going? Give me my regular?"

Chronos quickly slinked away as to not be noticed by her, going over to one of the tables in the corner next to the bar.

"Oh the usual, just trying my best." She pulled out a glass and a bottle that had a little skull on it. She placed the glass in front of her and poured the drink.

"How about you, Bloody?"

Bloody? But that was Lilith wasn't it? Chronos wondered as they listened in on the two's conversation.

"Same old, same old. Hanging in there you know?" Bloody grabbed the drink, tapping her golden claws on it. She seemed to be lost in thought before she downed the drink and placed it back on the counter. "Place that on my tab will ya? I'll be back to pay you, promise."

"Whatever you say Bloody." S0uL giggled, grabbing the glass and cleaning it with a rag as Bloody walked away out of the bar. Chronos stood, placing some money on the bar and following her out.

Bloody herself also had barely come out since the incident. The only place she ever went was S0uL's bar as no one there would blab about her to the guards and get her arrested.

She had quite the target on her head as she had been linked to numerous killings. None of which were actually her fault. It was all 3rr0r but of course no one would believe that. She scratched at some bandages covering her lower arm. Dried blood covered it.

"Gotta redo these tonight.." she murmured to herself but stopped and perked her ears. She was being followed. She turned around quickly, spotting Chronos and taking a step back her amber eyes widening.

"Chronos..."

"Lilith."

"DON'T." Bloody took a breath as sudden anger burned through her, taking another step back cooling herself off before continuing her sentence, "don't call me that, it's Bloody now."

"Bloody?" Chronos scoffed at this.

"Bloody." She hissed, amber eyes darkening.

They crossed their arms, looking her over. She had changed quite a bit since they last saw her. For one she was taller, had more muscle and more scars littered on her body. Her hands had slight twitches and shakes to them here and there and her golden fangs were always bared. Her hair was also significantly longer.

"So is this it? I remember you saying that you'd kill me if you saw me again." She growled out, amber eyes watching their every move.

Chronos stayed silent, an unknown look on their face.

Suddenly they were pinning her up to the wall.

"I made a promise to Aurora."

"She wouldn't want this."

"DON'T YOU DARE SPEAK FOR HER."

"SHE WAS MY FRIEND."

Bloody kicked them off of her onto the ground as a snarl was on her face. Flames formed over her arms and her eyes went red as rage boiled through her. "I LOVED HER TOO! I NEVER ASKED FOR ANY OF THIS!" She panted, hissing out and letting her flames die down as Chronos stared up at her from the ground.

"I never.. asked for any of this to happen. I never wanted any of this to happen." Bloody said this more calmly, red eyes slowly fading back to her normal amber color. She reached a hand out to them. "Please Chronos, I don't want to fight you. You were my friend too."

Chronos glared at her. They stood up on their own, not taking her hand in their own. Bloody's ears pinned to her head as she hissed through her teeth.

"I could never forgive what you've done." They spat.

Bloody sighed out at this. She knew they were a lost cause but that didn't stop her from still trying to reason with them. "You know that it wasn't my fault. I told you what was going on, you promised to help me. I still need help, Chronos."

"What, like you haven't figured anything out over the years?"

"Only small things to keep him off of me." She raised her bandaged arm. "Besides, if you really are so desperate to kill me he'll stop that from happening."

They had a look of disbelief to which she laughed.

"Yeah that's right, you don't think I've tried to fucking off myself? I hate what I've done, I can remember everything of what I've been forced to do. I hate it." Bloody hugged her arms to herself, digging her claws into her arms. "He stops me and keeps me alive. I've tried everything, nothing works. I've been so, so close to getting out of this mess but he always keeps me here."

Chronos was silent, staring her down. Bloody's fur puffed up on her neck as the air became more chilly and a new presence made itself known. Dark red eyes, dark fur and hair with red faded tips. A scarred face.

"Don't even think about it."

"Artemis...?" Bloody's jaw was agape in shock as the figure stepped out from the shadows. It was indeed her, it was Artemis.

Her red eyes glanced over towards Bloody before she stepped in front of her, putting herself in between the two. Chronos spat at the ground in front of her.

"Aren't you supposed to be dead?"

"I might as well have been."

Her scarred mouth bared in a snarl, ears pinned to her head. The tension in the air was thick as the three looked between one another, expecting something to happen. After a minute of this, Artemis took a chance and grabbed Bloody's arm to whisk them both away from that spot to another.

It was just as chilly here but there was actually some light to see. As Bloody's eyes adjusted and her senses came back to her after suddenly teleporting she found that she had been brought to a closed off room. Where exactly she had no idea.

A fist was thrown into her stomach, knocking the air out of her.

She hissed and gasped for breath, curling in on herself.

"What the fuck has gotten into you? I come back hearing that my sister is a fucking murderer, what the fuck Lilith?"

Bloody hissed out, looking up to Artemis who had a worried but also pissed off look on her face. "It wasn't... me. Fuck." She held a hand to her stomach as she slowly unfurled herself. As she looked up to face Artemis' wrath she saw that look on her face.

It was like she was back to being a kid again getting told off by her older sister.

"Artemis, I swear on my life. Those killings weren't my doing." She pleaded, ears pinned down to her head.

"There's quite a bit of evidence against that."

"Please just let me explain myself." Bloody hissed out, feeling that familiar rage rushing through her veins. She took a breath, calming herself. "Yes, I was there at each and every one of them but I never spilled blood. It wasn't me. I... I can't control when he takes over my body and what he does. I've tried over and over to fight him but I never can."

"Who? How??" Artemis had that look of disbelief on her face, arms crossing.

"His name is 3rr0r, he came from The Lab. He says that he 'does as Death commands'"

Artemis took a step back, that look on her face falling and turning into one of fear for a moment but she quickly hid it. "That can't be right. No one has heard from Death since... since we all died."

"Well Death or not, I'm still under control and I don't know what to do. You have to help me Artemis, please. I can't... I can't keep doing this anymore." Bloody murmured softly, looking to her sister with pleading eyes.

Artemis hissed out, now pacing in place. "If it is Death, we would have to get in contact with him and plead our case. But no one has succeeded in doing that. I don't even know what he'd say if he saw my face."

She sighed out as she stopped her pacing. "Fuck. I guess I'm doing this. Don't say a word, let me do the talking alright?" She directed this towards Bloody who nodded and stepped back slightly.

Artemis pulled off her coat, reaching into various pockets and pulling out a few things. One was a bowl with intricate carvings and another was a sharp dagger with red carvings lining the blade. She kneeled down placing the bowl in front of her and holding one hand up above it, the other hand held the dagger to it before swiping quickly across the palm of her hand. She squeezed it into a fist, letting the blood drip into the bowl and fill the markings in it.

Her eyes went full red and started glowing, red swirls of magic going from them and swirling around her arms before going into the bowl. She showed her teeth in a slight pained snarl before her red magic swirled up and started forming into something. A skull for a face, large antlers, a dark body and long tail.

It was Death. He stepped onto the ground, his dark eyes glancing around and focusing in on Artemis in front of him who was panting but had her hand to her chest and was bowing her head to him.

"Artemis. My little assassin. You should be here with me."

"I'm sorry that I am not, I still have things to do."

He hummed, leaning down and placing a clawed finger underneath her chin to make her look up into his face.

"You are lucky that you are my favorite. Why have you called for me?"

"To ask some questions. You've been giving out orders to someone named 3rr0r, what are they and why are you giving them?"

"Hmm." His eyes narrowed at that, Artemis winced as his claw now traced her mouth before swiping down and leaving a new scar. The blood pooled before swirling around his finger.

"My plan is far too great for you to understand, Artemis. All you must know is that your sister is a means to an end. I will use her as I please." He paused, looking back towards Bloody. "Just this once, I will give you a chance. Good luck."

He waved his hand, vanishing in a puff of black smoke.

Bloody suddenly fell to her hands and knees with a cry, coughing and gasping. Black liquid pooled onto the floor from her mouth before her jaws opened wide and a writing mess of green tentacles forced their way out into the pool of liquid. Once they were fully out, Bloody scooted herself away panting and hissing out.

The liquid and tentacles formed a figure, becoming 3rr0r himself. But he looked vastly different. A large clawed hand dug into the ground, large teeth protruded from his mouth. His chest was a gaping sharp toothed pit. He growled out, slowly shifting himself down to a smaller, more normal form like he had been before. Once he was back to normal he stood.

"Stay the fuck away from me." Bloody snarled before coughing again, her strength had completely been exhausted from her but that didn't stop her from still wanting to tear him apart.

3rr0r grinned a wide, wicked grin. "Oh Lilith, I am hurt by that." He purred this out, tail twitching behind him. Artemis had forced herself to stand, a bow and arrow formed in her hands and aimed at him. He looked back at her with a tilt of his head.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you."

She stayed silent, baring her teeth at him. He growled low before quickly shifting into his other form once again and roaring out. Tentacles with sharp toothed mouths at the tips protruded from his back and snapped at the air.

Bloody pressed herself against the wall away from him more feeling her strength ebb away more. Her vision darkened at the edges before she slumped to the ground, now unconscious.

3rr0r snarled out into Artemis' stoic face and was about to swipe his wicked claws at her but quickly shifted back into his normal form next to Bloody's body. Artemis shot an arrow at him when he did making him growl at her.

"Stay away from her."

"I don't think so."

He started to lose his form once again, becoming the black smoke to be one with Bloody again. Artemis fired more arrows at him but it was too late. He vanished into Bloody's mouth into her body once again.

Artemis hissed and cursed out at this. It took a minute before Bloody came to consciousness and pushed herself up. But it wasn't Bloody, it was 3rr0r.

Those red green eyes glared down Artemis before he started laughing and vanished from that spot. She cursed at this, throwing her bow to the ground with it vanishing in a puff of red smoke. "Damn it! I had her..." she let out a few more curses before hissing and pacing in place. "Fuck, maybe I can..." she trailed off, vanishing from that spot.

She appeared in front of those large cold doors. The Lab. She pressed the doors open and darted through the long winding halls, her ears perked and listening for something.

Once she heard it she started making her way there, finding herself in a large room. There was a long counter with a sink and some cabinets, two tables spaced out in the middle. On one of the tables sitting was Em, and on the other was Gh0st. They both looked over at hearing someone enter, shock filling their faces.

Em immediately got up and came up to her. "Artemis? No shit is that you? Everyone thought you were dead." She growled low, punching at Artemis' arm playfully.

"I thought I was. That's besides the point right now, I need help."

"It's with Lilith isn't it?" Gh0st quietly spoke up, making the two look at her. "You need help finding her?" To that Artemis nodded. Gh0st got off the table, going over to one of the cabinets and searching through it. She grabbed out a paper and pen before going back to the table and placing the paper down.

Her eyes became fully yellow as she leaned down to the paper, whispering something before blowing onto it. Curls of black smoke left her mouth onto the paper tracing out a sort of map. Her eyes went back to normal and she looked over to the other two, "I-it's a little trick I learned to do..." she rubbed her neck sheepishly before continuing her sentence. "She should be... right about here." She tapped a point on the map which became a dark curling mass of the black smoke.

Artemis came over and looked, taking it in and nodding. "Thank you Gh0st, I owe you for this." And with that, she vanished.

Bloody herself was back in control. She was panting and heaving the black liquid onto the floor of where she was. Deep claw marks were gouged into her arm and were dripping blood. Her vision was fuzzy but she refused to pass out.

She wiped her mouth once she was done heaving, slowly forcing herself up off the ground. Her legs were shaky as well as her hands. "Okay, fuck... fuck okay this is fine, I can do this again." She hissed this out to herself to try and feel better about the situation.

Her amber eyes scanned the room of where she was and realized she was back home. She had absolutely no idea why 3rr0r would've brought her here. She took a breath, just taking a moment before she went to her bathroom and grabbed some bandages to wrap around her new set of claw marks.

The air shifted around her. She stood straight, ears perking and swiveling to catch any noise. It was completely silent. She looked towards the open bathroom door while stepping away from it slowly only to hiss out and hunch over her sink as more of that black liquid spewed out from her.

Her body was fighting extremely hard to get 3rr0r out. Suddenly she was pulled into a hold with claws at her throat. She snarled, black liquid dripping from her mouth. She stopped struggling when the claws pressed down.

"What is something the real Lilith would know."

Bloody paused, thinking. The black liquid still trickled down, dripping onto the floor. "Fuck. That we struggled after you didn't show up that night, I've never been the same after it."

She was let go of which she immediately hunched back over the sink, amber eyes looking over to Artemis' red ones in the dark of the shadows.

"So he doesn't have you in control right now?"

"Not if I have a say in it." Bloody spat into the sink before heaving up more. "Fuck... I can feel him festering and eating away at my strength. I'm trying so fucking hard.."

She suddenly fell to her hands and knees, panting heavily. Artemis kneeled next to her side, placing a hand on her back. "Lil? Lil, hey can you hear me?"

The world around her felt fuzzy and far away. Bloody stared down at the ground beneath her. Movement made itself known beneath her skin, forcing its way up out of her mouth. Those damn tentacles again.

She heaved and spat them out onto the ground, shuffling away once again. Out of fear, even if she barely had the strength to, she vanished from that spot leaving Artemis on her own.

Artemis snarled, standing up and crushing the tentacles beneath her claws. They squelched but didn't get crushed like how she had hoped. Instead, they grabbed her legs tightly as 3rr0r formed himself back again. That smile on his face.

"You just don't know when to quit." He slammed her into the wall, his smile fading into a snarl. Artemis winced and cried out at this, falling to her knees.

3rr0r stepped over, grabbing Artemis by the chin roughly and making her look up to him. He leaned down next to her ear, growling out "Keep getting in the way and see what happens. I'd be glad to have Death send Unknown after you."

Her eyes widened, fear filling her body. He giggled then laughed, "good, you understand. I shall be taking my leave." And with that he formed into the smoke and whisked away out of the house.

Artemis hissed out, wiping blood from her nose. "Damn it."

"I CANT DO THIS ANYMORE!"

Flames poured out from her weak body, barely scorching the ground she was on. She panted and heaved and huffed, her arms shaking.

She had whisked herself away to a safe spot of hers. A sort of tree house that she had made to keep herself away from others. She slammed a fist into the wall, snarling out. "Everyone is on my fucking ass and I don't even have any control over it. Fuck."

She took a breath, her flames dying down. She let her claws slide and drag down back to her side. She had to think logically about this or she wasn't gonna get anywhere.

Her amber eyes glanced over to the small table she had. A few books were scattered on it. She went over, picking up and looking through them until she found a specific one.

She paced back and forth as she flipped through pages and read through it, "No... no.... There." She murmured softly, skimming through a certain page before placing it down. "Okay, you got this."

She placed her hands over her chest, closing her eyes and concentrating. Slowly she forced her magic to curl and swirl around her before going over the floors of the tree house. They swirled into the wood, carving intricate markings into the wood.

Bloody furrowed her brows, teeth baring in a snarl. She forced her way through it till it was done. Once she finished she fell to her hands and knees, panting heavily. "Fuck... okay that should be fine for now." And then she collapsed to her side, passing out.

She gasped in a breath, sitting up and looking around. A pitch black Void filled with glittering spots of stars and the like. Bloody felt her heart drop. There was no way...

"No way of what?"

She pushed herself away, heart beating fast. "No way that I'm dead."

Death narrowed that skull head of his down to her level. There was an unamused look in those eyes. "Of course not. I would not let you die so easily and peacefully."

She was quiet for a moment, pushing herself up to stand unsteadily. But if she wasn't dead, why was she here in his Void?

"Because I summoned your consciousness here. If only for a moment." His eyes stayed glued onto her, teeth now showing in a snarl, "You are ruining my plans. Do you know how many mortals would be grateful for this? Who would lay their life down at my feet?"

"Well I'm not one of them." Bloody spat, blood boiling in anger now rather than being scared. "I will keep fighting every step of the way, I will take you down." She snarled, golden fangs bared.

Death glanced her over, raising himself back up so that he was standing fully. "Hmph. Disappointing." He snapped his clawed fingers making a form appear.

3rr0r.

"Do as you please. But this time, don't lose her." He waved a hand away, vanishing in a puff of smoke leaving the two.

Bloody glared him down, amber eyes darkening into a more red. "Don't even fucking think about it." He laughed, slowly stepping closer to her. His tail flicked back and forth behind him.

But before he could get close enough to her...

She woke up.

She gasped in a breath, sitting up and coughing. "Fuck... fuck me." Her amber eyes took in the surroundings as she pushed herself up to stand, still just her. No wait...

She was pinned up to the wall, clawed hand forcing her face to the wall. She thrashed and hissed only to stop when she felt the point of a knife pressed to her stomach.

"Lilith."

"It's Bloody." She spat at them, amber eyes narrowing and darkening to a red. Their own red eyes stared her down. "How the fuck did you even find me? I hid myself."

"Not well enough." The knife pressed harder against her skin. She winced, teeth baring. This wasn't how she was going to die, she couldn't.

She reached for her magic to teleport only to find she couldn't. Fuck she had exhausted herself already? She growled low and took a chance, kicking into their leg forcing them away from her with them barely scraping her with that knife.

She panted getting into a fighting stance. They glared her down, "Smart move." They were just standing there, why?

Their eyes looked to the side then back to her. Bloody hissed, whipping around only to get slammed into the ground. A form pressed her down, purple curls of magic kept her pinned.

One piercing yellow eye stared her down, the other socket had a flower growing out of it. A turtle neck hid those deep claw marks. Her wings unfurled out, showing the beautiful markings.

"Rora...."

"...." She grabbed Bloody's chin, clawed hands forcing it this way and that to look at her. Her wings fluffed and pressed themselves up to her back. "....he's not with her."

Bloody's heart sank. They were going to kill her, and she couldn't move or do anything. Fuck fuck fuck.

"Surprising. How did you rid yourself of him already?"

Bloody stayed silent, her heart beat was pounding in her ears. Aurora moved herself off of Bloody but grabbed her and forced her to stand up.

"Please I... I don't want to die, it isn't my fault! Why are you going to kill me for it? Why not him?!" Bloody hissed out, she couldn't even thrash around even if she so badly wanted to.

Chronos hissed out, losing that stoic look and going up to her again. "Because if we don't kill you first and go after him he will just use your body to keep living. You are his vessel." They sighed, shaking their head. "I'm sorry, Lilith. It's the only way."

They pressed the knife to her again. She shut her eyes, tears wetting her fur. They stabbed up into her quickly then forced it back out.

Aurora let her go which made her drop to the floor with a cry. Her hand went to the wound shakily, blood pooling and dripping down fast. She was forced to look up to Chronos when they grabbed her by the chin. Despite the pain, she snarled and bared her golden fangs at them.

"Have fun with Death." They spat out, tossing her back to the ground and with that they vanished. Aurora stepped around Bloody, her one eye sadly looking to her. "... I'm sorry it had to end like this, Lil. I will see you in the Void." She murmured softly before vanishing as well.

Bloody hissed out, curling in on herself. This was it, this was the end. She was going to die alone and slowly. She growled, forcing herself up. She couldn't think like that yet, she still had a chance.

She reached out for what little magic she had left, vanishing  from that spot and appearing in the bar. She unsteadily stepped forward before crashing over the bar panting and hissing out.

It had just closed for the night. But a startled S0uL came out to the noise. Her eyes widened at the situation in front of her, quickly hopping over the counter and holding Bloody up. "Hey hey, stay with me. What happened??"

Bloody hissed, barely keeping herself up against the counter. "I don't have... time to explain. Can you heal me?" S0uL looked taken aback at that but nodded. "Here, let's put you up on the counter..." she murmured to which Bloody nodded.

With a little bit of effort from the two Bloody managed to get on the counter and lay on it. S0uL took a breath, her hands shakily going to the wound. "Okay, it's gonna hurt like a bitch and I can't promise you that I can fully heal it just mostly help it along to heal."

"Anything is better than this... please."

"Alright."

S0uL gently pressed her hands onto it, focusing. Her eyes fully went a gentle pink, her magic curled around her arms and focused onto her hands before going into the wound. Bloody roared out, throwing her head back and clawing into the wood of the counter. "FUCK!"

"I know I know, breathe." S0uL gently spoke, letting her magic do its thing. It slowly burned and healed the wound, making Bloody grit her teeth and hiss out every so often.

S0uL bared her teeth after about a minute, panting. Her magic faltered before fizzling out. "Shit, no no." She tried to will it back but to no avail. She moved her now bloodied hands away, making sure she had at least healed most of it. To her luck, she had.

"That's all I can do, I'm sorry."

Bloody pressed herself up, hissing. "It's okay, I already feel a shit ton better." She took a breath in, then let it out with a light wheeze. "Fuck..."

S0uL looked up to her before hopping over the counter and grabbing two glasses and a bottle. "Wanna tell me what's going on?"

"Take a seat, its a long one."

Their claws were tapping at the table, tap tap tap. Aurora sat on the counter, twisting a beautiful dagger made of amethyst between her own claws. She suddenly stopped, a quick vision showing itself to her.

"...." She had an upset look on her face, clutching the dagger tightly. Chronos looked to her, fixing their glasses. "You have that look, what's up?"

She looked away, baring her teeth. ".... She made it."

Chronos immediately clawed into the table. "How?"

"You think I know the specifics?"

"I thought you would."

Aurora grumbled out something incomprehensible, wings covering her as she turned to face away from them.

"Come now, don't give me the cold shoulder." Chronos stood up and stepped over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder gently.

"... she's my friend you know? It's not like I'm excited to have to do any of this." Aurora hissed this out, standing up and shoving them off of her to go stand by the window.

"But she-"

"It wasn't her fault. I can't believe you still try to blame it on her when you know the true story and when I'm here now."

Chronos huffed at that, going back to the table. "Well what do we do now?"

"We... wait."

"That's... insane."

"You can say that again." Bloody murmured, onto the fifth drink of the night. She didn't even feel anything yet. "Thank you for.. healing me and shit, I don't think I'd be sitting here right now if not for you."

"Of course, why would I just let you die? Especially in my bar, do you know how much of a mess I would've had to clean up?" S0uL giggled. Bloody gave a slight smile at that, "I can only imagine."

Suddenly the air went cold and shifted as a new face appeared. Well it wasn't a new face, it was Artemis.

Bloody whipped around to face her only to lower her gaze away, ears pinned. "Artemis.."

"Lilith, I was so... I was so worried about you." She murmured softly, going over and holding her arms out to hug her. Bloody leaned away, tightly crossing her arms. "Not worried enough to follow me and help. I almost died, Artemis."

Artemis looked taken aback at that looking over to S0uL who gave a nod, "she's not wrong, if she had waited a second longer to come to me she'd be dead."

"It doesn't matter now, whatever." Bloody hissed, smoke trailing from her nose, "we need to get rid of 3rr0r while he's out of me, any ideas?" Her amber eyes looked over to Artemis who furrowed her brows and started pacing.

"Hmm, if he hasn't come back to you to take control he must be back at The Lab."

Bloody's mood soured even more than it had been at that.

"No fucking way, I'm not going there." She snarled, standing up to face Artemis and stop her pacing. "That's where it all fucking started, if he is there he'll just come running back to me to hide inside me and use me. I'm..." she clenched her hands into fists, growling out as her heart beat quick at the thought, "I'm not doing that shit again. I can't."

Artemis sighed out, reaching a hand out to Bloody only to have her grab her wrist tightly. "Don't touch me." Panic filled her voice. She had been expecting Artemis to suddenly teleport them to The Lab if she had been touched.

"Lilith..."

"Don't. It's Bloody." She hissed, letting go and going back over to the bar counter. "I'm not going there. It's too risky for me."

"What other choice do we have?" Artemis stepped over to her, keeping her hands to herself this time but leaning close to Bloody. "It's the only place, I need you with me Lil."

Bloody growled low, staring down into a half empty glass. She stayed silent completely giving Artemis the cold shoulder.

S0uL looked between the two, sensing the tension in the air. "Oookay. Let's just take a moment and talk things out?"

"There's nothing to talk about, we have to do this, now or never." Artemis hissed this out, stepping away to pace with her hands on her hips.

Bloody scoffed and downed the drink placing it back down roughly, "And what, it's that easy? Just in and out, Artemis you saw what he's capable of." She snarled, looking over to her.

"Well I cant just sit here and watch him kill you Lilith!" Artemis looked to Bloody, that worry showing on her usually calm face. Bloody felt her anger falter and fizzle out at seeing that look.

"I can't lose you too." Artemis said this more softly calming herself as she stepped closer to Bloody. She reached a hand out but stopped and put it back to her side when Bloody flinched away. "Can we please talk this out and figure something out?"

Bloody's eyes stared at her for a moment before drifting back to the cup in front of her. She was silent for a moment, a thousand thoughts going through her mind.

The logical thing to do would be to go with to The Lab but one mistake and she would lose everything again. Her hand clenched around the glass tightly. "Fine. Fine. We can go to The Lab, but remember," she stood letting go of the glass and staring down at Artemis, "one little mistake, one fuck up when we're with 3rr0r and it's over. We have to be smarter, don't let your emotions get the better of you."

Artemis gave a nod, holding her hand out. Bloody sighed and looked to S0uL, "Wish us luck." And with that she grabbed Artemis' hand and they were whisked away from that spot.

Back at The Lab once again. Bloody shoved the doors open and walked inside with Artemis following her. She kept that anger on her face as she walked through those winding halls while Artemis looked at her worriedly.

"You're staring."

"I've just never seen you so..." she trailed off when Bloody came to a stop making her stop as well. Bloody hissed out and glared her down. "Never seen me what? So pissed off because my life has been destroyed? What, am I supposed to be happy?"

"That's not what I meant."

"You might as well have said it." She growled, continuing on walking through the halls with Artemis following behind her.

After about a minute of silence, Bloody found a certain set of doors and shoved them open. Inside was the same bigger room from before that Artemis had been in. This time it was just Em with an array of tools out.

She looked to the two barging in and her mood turned sour at seeing Bloody. "What the hell? Why the fuck are you here?" Her red eyes glared at her but her expression went to one of shock when Bloody had her pinned up to the wall suddenly.

Her hands were shaking as she had her pinned, her golden fangs showed in a snarl. "Where is he? I have some words."

"You can't just threaten our patients."

"Try me."

Bloody hissed, curls of flames starting to lick around her arms as she became more pissed off.

"Fine. Fine! Just relax and put me down." Bloody glared at her before letting go, her flames dying out. Em brushed herself off, tail lashing. "Follow me, I'll take you to him."

—

And Bloody was back in that room again. It was just as cold if not colder than she remembered. Gh0st was in there tending to him in the corner. She looked up when she realized Bloody had come in and her eyes widened slightly.

"L-Lilith."

"It's Bloody. I have words for him. Either leave or I make you leave." She snarled. Artemis pushed into the room as well, standing by Bloody's side and looking to Gh0st and 3rr0r.

Gh0st stood up, looking between the three of them. "I can't j-just leave."

"Gh0st please." Artemis started only to be stopped when 3rr0r started giggling and then laughing. Everyone looked to him as he stood, tail flicking behind him.

"Oh watching you all fight and bicker is sooo boring. Let's make things interesting shall we?" He growled out, shifting into that bigger form of his. Gh0st stepped back in shock, eyes wide.

Bloody felt her heart beat become quicker, fear crawling up her spine. She got into a defensive stance, stepping back and trying to form her flames only to have them die out again. "No no no, not again I can't." She panicked before turning and shoving out the door running.

Artemis hissed out, "Lilith!" She cursed before turning towards 3rr0r and forming her bow and arrow easily. She aimed towards him.

"She's so cute when she's scared." 3rr0r giggled, his voice dripping with venom and hatred. He turned to Gh0st, grabbing her roughly in one of those wicked clawed hands. She yelped and struggled to get out.

But she was quickly let go of when Artemis fired an arrow into his hand. "Do not."

"You care so much for someone who should be dead." 3rr0r grinned widely, that creepy wide grin. Gh0st shuffled herself away from him to Artemis' side.

"...."

She had a scowl on that stoic face of hers which made that grin on his face even wider.

"That's right, I know what happened. How did it feel? Being so close to Death and yet being lucky enough to live."

Artemis stayed quiet, forming another arrow and firing it at him. He growled out losing that grin for a more pissed off look.

"Fine. We can play it that way." He snarled and had those tentacles form from his back, the tips snapping with sharp teeth. Artemis glanced around the room before throwing her bow down to grab Gh0st and run out of the room with her.

"I-I didn't even..."

"He's played you like a toy, Gh0st. And you were none the wiser." Artemis panted, letting go of her and shoving the door shut as 3rr0r tried to break through it roaring and snarling.

Gh0st watched quietly for a moment, a look of confusion on her face. Artemis hissed out as she fought back with the door against 3rr0r. "I thought these were supposed to auto lock?! Gh0st!" She looked back to see that she had a weird look on her face.

"I swear if you're gonna do what I think.."

"I-I'm sorry."

Gh0st shoved Artemis out of the way into the ground and let the door get shoved open by 3rr0r. He huffed and panted as he looked between the two before focusing on Gh0st.

A smile crept across his face. He stepped towards her and held his hand out to which she took making him pull her closer before opening his mouth wide to multiple tentacles thrashing and the black smoke forcing its way out into her.

Gh0st struggled and thrashed before going limp in his arms. Artemis pushed herself off of the ground, hissing out. "What did you do?"

"I'm doing her a favor." He giggled before losing his form into the smoke and fully going into Gh0st. Artemis cursed out and stepped forwards only to stop when Gh0st stood up.

Her eyes were red and green, her mouth open and dripping black liquid. It was fully 3rr0r in control of her now.

"You're in my way."

"I'm not letting you get to Lilith."

He hissed out, tail lashing back and forth behind him. "You're lucky I can't control you, your body reeks of poison on the inside." Artemis opened her mouth to say something but blocked her face as he ran forward and pinned her to the wall.

Claws went to her face, leaving a new set of scars across it. She barely flinched now snarling as the blood pooled. "I knew what sacrifice I was making doing it. You don't have to remind me." She hissed and punched into his stomach making him back off.

"I'm not letting you get to Lil." She repeated this with more force.

"How sweet, you think you can stop me?" He giggled before laughing, "I guess you all are the same, stubborn just like your sister." He got into an offensive stance but stopped as the air shifted.

Aurora.

She slashed a dagger at him barely missing skin as she hissed through her teeth. "She's not a part of Deaths plan." Her wings unfurled, blocking the way off from him and Artemis.

"That's never mattered. You have no say in this, child." He growled out, eyes flicking from her face to her dagger. "You aren't supposed to be here."

"Death summoned me here." She murmured softly, still keeping a defensive stance in front of him. He growled, showing off his teeth. "I won't do anything to her, I just have to get past her."

They were like two kids bickering over a toy, and Artemis was already tired of it. She took a few steps back before turning and running through the halls to find Bloody.

Aurora turned to look back only to get pushed over into the wall as 3rr0r pushed past her to follow Artemis. She let out a few curses, the air shifting again as Chronos appeared. "Looks like you have a party going on here, no invite for me?"

"You're not a part of this. Leave." She didn't look at them as she pushed herself up off the ground. "I have matters of my own to deal with."

"Cold." Chronos crossed their arms making Aurora look back at them with a glare. They gave her the same back, "I am at least following you."

"Fine." She hissed, turning back around and going after the others.

A cold quiet room and in the corner was Bloody curled up into a ball. Her knees to her chest held tightly and her tail around her body. She had ducked into one of the empty rooms after running aimlessly through the halls seeing as her magic wasn't working at all. Her golden markings were darkened with black swirls, stopping her from reaching out to her magic.

She was panting and felt like throwing up but kept it back, clawing deeply into her arms. She didn't want to be a part of this anymore, she just wanted to go home and forget any of this.

Her ears perked at the sound of footsteps. Her head shot up, amber eyes staring at the door. Her breathing quieted down for fear of being heard, her hands shaking.

The door opened.

She panicked and stood up, reaching for her flames again to no avail. Fine, her teeth and claws would do. As the door opened she ran at whoever opened it, pinning them down to the ground her claws at their throat.

"Lil! Lil, it's okay it's just me. Breathe."

Bloody panted, fangs showing in a slight snarl before she relaxed. It was just Artemis. But that fear still crawled up her spine.

The air became even colder as Bloody pushed herself off of Artemis, looking to where she had run from before holding a hand out to help her sister up.

"I can't... I can't reach my magic, I panicked I'm sorry."

"It's okay, I'm here for you." Artemis murmured softly as she took Bloody's hand and stood up. They had a moment of silence before a roar rang out through the hall.

3rr0r was absolutely pissed and approaching them quickly through the hall. Bloody felt her throat tighten in fear, stepping back. She instinctively tried to teleport away but let out a cry and fell to her knees and held her own hand tightly as the swirls of black became even darker. "Fuck!"

Artemis hissed through her teeth and stood in front of Bloody while forming her bow. "What's going on with you, Lil?"

"Fuck if I know! I..." Bloody pushed herself off the ground, reaching her hand up to touch her mouth and pull it back. It was stained black. Her fur stood on end, fear. He never fully left her, there was still a fragment of him inside her.

3rr0r barreled into Artemis, pushing her out of the way and snarling out. "Stay put." He growled, kicking her down when she tried to get back up. She hissed in pain, losing her bow.

Bloody panted and shook, facing 3rr0r now as he controlled Gh0st. "What, too scared to face me with your own face?" she bared her golden fangs at him, keeping a defensive stance even as that smile crept across his face.

"No. Simply recovering more power from her." He lifted a hand up, admiring it in a way while dragging his claws over his arm lightly, "Isn't she something? The byproduct of Death and Life and none the wiser. And she fell to me." He laughed before going at Bloody and pinning her to the ground before she could answer.

She snarled and thrashed only to get a hand pushed to her throat, claws digging in. "Ah ah ah." He basically purred this out as his other hand grabbed her chin roughly. She kept her mouth shut tightly, baring her sharp teeth as he leaned closer and opened his mouth to that black smoke trailing out to her.

Artemis pushed herself up, shakily forming her bow and aiming at him only to wince and hold a hand to her chest then to her mouth as blood trailed down from her nose. "Fuck." She hissed before focusing back and firing an arrow at 3rr0r.

He grabbed the arrow just as it was about to hit his head, a wide smile on his face, "How interesting." He looked over to her before quickly looking back to Bloody and forcing himself back into her body through the black smoke. She thrashed and yelled as he did before going limp, the same could be said for Gh0st as she fell on top of her.

Artemis cursed and went over to the two gently moving Gh0st off and grabbing Bloody. "Fuck, fuck! No no I shouldn't have brought you here." She hissed and put her down while pulling out things from her coat. She wouldn't let this happen again, she had to be able to do something.

As Artemis panicked and went through her things, Gh0st slowly came back to consciousness. She pushed herself up with a groan and held a hand to her head before yelping and scooting away from Bloody's body. "W-what happened?"

"You fucking everything up." Artemis growled as she mixed some things in the same bowl from before. She didn't know how long Bloody could fight off 3rr0r controlling her so she had to be fast.

She pulled out her dagger, holding her hand up and placing the blade to it before slicing quickly and forming a fist over the bowl letting the blood drip down into the concoction she had made. After quite a bit of blood had pooled in with the mixture she mixed it more before grabbing the bowl and Bloody's mouth. She pushed her up and opened her mouth, letting the contents go in and down her throat carefully.

"W-what's..?"

"Something to buy us more time. It's a poison, it won't affect her just 3rr0r inside of her. My blood makes it more... I'll just leave it at it makes it more effective." Artemis explained quickly as she made sure Bloody got every last drop, placing the bowl down and shutting her mouth to make sure she didn't spit any of it back up.

After a moment, her eyes shot open and she pushed away coughing and gasping. "Holy shit." She hissed before doubling over and heaving out some black liquid, her eyes flashed the green and red. "What did you do?" 3rr0r spoke through her barely, glaring over at Artemis.

"Taking you down a notch."

He snarled out but lost it to more heaving and Bloody being back in control. She gasped and panted, wiping away the liquid and pushing herself to stand shakily. "What the fuck do we do now?" She looked over to Artemis and Gh0st, holding a hand to her stomach.

Artemis stood up, going over to Bloody and offering a hand to help keep her standing, "I have an idea, but it's not pretty." Bloody looked to her face than down to her hand taking it cautiously having Artemis make her lean on her to hold herself up better.

"What's your idea? Anything to get this... bastard out of me." She growled low.

"Gh0st, come with us we'll need your help. Unless you're planning to stay on his side." Artemis glared at her before starting to walk forwards through the hall with Bloody. Gh0st reluctantly got up and followed behind the two.

"So I made a sort of poison to make sure he doesn't control you for quite a bit, our only problem is that he's still desperately clinging on inside you." Artemis furrowed her brows, "so therefore you are going to..." she trailed off, looking to Bloody's face. It took her a moment but when she realized she made them stop.

"Someone has to kill me." She murmured quietly, "and that kills him. "

"Not someone. You. You have to..." Artemis shook her head, she didn't want to continue that sentence so she trailed off into another, "There's another thing I can make now that I know her true story." She motioned back to Gh0st who looked taken aback.

"W-what about me?"

"Right you probably don't know. You're Life and Deaths child. 3rr0r so graciously told us."

Gh0st's jaw opened wide in shock before she stuttered out, "So-so that's why he's be-been so interested in me?"

"Woohoo you figured it out." Bloody hissed through her teeth, feeling like heaving again which made her mood swing worse, "can we please just.. do this and get it over with."

"Of course. So Gh0st I'll need your blood and magic, I'll explain more on the way."

The three made it to one of the large examination rooms of before, Bloody sat on top of one of the tables while Artemis and Gh0st prepared the concoction she was going to drink to end all of this once and for all.

Bloody didn't even know if she had a chance to survive this as Artemis kept avoiding the question whenever she asked but even if she didn't survive she felt... relieved? Happy?

Her vision blurred slightly, edges becoming dark. 3rr0r was desperately trying to take control of her but would get the sting of the poison if he got too close to doing it that didn't stop him from still trying though.

"Any day now Artemis."

"Almost done Lil." Artemis grabbed her dagger out and held out her free hand to which Gh0st placed her own hand in. Artemis brought it over the bowl and sliced her palm quickly and made her squeeze it into a fist. "Just as you did before."

Gh0st gave a nod, focusing before having her eyes go full yellow as she blew out her own black smoke like before. It curled and wound its way around her arm and into the bowl with her blood.

Artemis pulled her hand away when it was enough, mixing it the rest of the way before grabbing it and bringing it to Bloody. "We get one chance. You got this." She also held out her dagger to which Bloody took first, looking it over before taking the bowl in both hands.

"Will I survive?"

"That's not up to me, you already know that."

"It's up to me isn't it?"

Artemis stayed silent, crossing her arms and looking away. Bloody sighed out, taking a breath in then letting it out. She brought the bowl to her lips and quickly downed it.

Once she finished she placed it down and grabbed the dagger while gritting her teeth, the concoction burned through her whole being as the clock ticked down. She brought the dagger  to her neck and quickly stabbed it through.

The other two kept their backs away as she coughed and sputtered up blood, her lungs filled with her own blood as she pulled the dagger out shakily and curled into a ball. Her life drained away and her vision went dark.

The Void. Bloody gasped and sat up looking around herself. She was back in that endless black nothingness. She pushed herself up to stand and almost fell back over when she was grabbed into a rough hold.

It was 3rr0r. He snarled and made the two fall to the ground and had them both keep rolling as they fought to pin the other. Bloody managed to pin him down, claws going to his throat. "Fuck. You." She bared her golden fangs.

He growled and hissed. Bloody realized that blood and that black liquid were trickling from his mouth and throat. He was dying even here in The Void. She panted and held his throat tightly.

"Who are you to go against Deaths Plans? You think..." he sputtered up more blood, hissing, "you think you're so special."

"No. I'm just not willing to do anything for a bitch that could care less about who I am besides his toy to use." Bloody spat back. That made him pissed.

His form shifted into that larger one of his, forcing her off of him as he roared out. The tentacles formed and thrashed from his back before he ran at Bloody on all fours like a feral animal.

Bloody hissed, reaching for her flames and deterring him from her as she shot them at him. Suddenly the two were shoved apart before any serious harm could be done.

"ENOUGH. You two are in Death's Void, 3rr0r you should know better." A fox with dark blue eyes long dark hair and red grayed fur glared the two down. They wore nothing but a dark robe covering their lower half.

"Unknown." 3rr0r hissed, shifting back into his smaller form. "I apologize. But she's done something to me." He growled before coughing and spitting up blood.

The fox, known as Unknown, glared at Bloody, "Stay." They commanded before going over to 3rr0r and looking him over. They took two fingers swiping up some of his blood and licking it. "You let Artemis make this didn't you?"

"I couldn't-"

"You only get one more chance if you go back to living. It you die again it's permanent and you become one with Death." They didn't let him finish, wiping the blood off their fingers. "You'll have to finish the plan with or without her." They waved their hand in Bloody's general direction.

Bloody couldn't help the laugh that came out, "yeah, good luck with that one." That earned her a glare from the two of them but especially from 3rr0r.

"Your sister is lucky to even be alive now, she should have died with me." Unknown growled out, stepping towards Bloody to which she stepped back, "she did a Death Pact with me and we both should have went down. She should be here. You're lucky to have her and have lived till now."

"Sounds like you have a grudge with her." Bloody hissed, she didn't want to be here any longer, "I think I'm going to take my leave."

"You can't just leave, you haven't even spoken with Death yet to be able to go back."

"I don't need to. Artemis made sure of that." She clawed into her chest and put her flames to it making her vanish in a ball of fire.

Bloody woke up gasping and coughing, hand going up to her throat which was wrapped tightly in bandages. "Fuck." She spit out some dried blood, her amber eyes glancing around. She had no idea how long she'd been out for.

She was in a small room, it was basically a hospital room but there was no way she was at a hospital. Her ears perked and swiveled as she listened to anything going on, the familiar ambience greeted her.

"Still in The Lab, great." She muttered to herself as she sat up better only to flinch and scoot away as the door opened.

"We'll look who's finally breathing and alive." It was Em with Artemis by her side who quickly ran in and tightly hugged Bloody who winced and loosely hugged her back.

"I didn't think you'd come back, I was preparing for the worst I...".

"I'm fine now, really. Where's..?"

"3rr0r? He came out of you a few minutes after you had... you know. He couldn't stay as that smoke of his and we grabbed and contained him again."

"He's not dead?" Bloody hissed, pushing away from Artemis with a panicked and pissed off look on her face. "We had a plan Artemis, that wasn't it."

"We're not killing one of our-" Em started.

"BULLSHIT. You're keeping him alive?! Fuck you." Bloody stood up, spitting at the ground in front of Em who glared her down, tail lashing behind her. "Likewise."

Artemis went to grab Bloody to say something but she was quick to grab her wrist first tightly twisting it to her back uncomfortably and making Artemis wince and hiss through her teeth in pain, "you don't have to-"

"Do not. Touch me." Bloody snarled before letting go and backing off. Artemis rubbed her arm, she had a worried look on her face now which just pissed Bloody off more.

"Lil..."

"I've already told you," Bloody growled and shoved past the two, "it's Bloody. Don't try to find or talk to me, I won't answer." And with that she vanished.

About a month or two would go by of Bloody having to go into hiding as there was a even bigger price on her head to bring her in to The King for all the murders she had been involved in.

It was a cloudy cold day, there was light snow on the ground outside. Inside a small cabin was Bloody sitting next to a fireplace. Her hair was much longer and she looked a lot more tired.

She reached a hand into the fireplace, moving the wood around to keep the fire burning. A sigh left her lips as she pulled her hand back and reached into her jacket pocket to pull her phone out. Still the same messages from Artemis and S0uL.

She winced, turning it off and putting it by her side. She had gone this far without talking to anyone or seeing them, she could keep going.

A snap rang out outside.

Bloody's ears perked and swiveled around as she quickly stood up. She reached a hand to the fireplace, taking the fire from it and putting it out.

It was quiet now which made her heartbeat faster, fear crawling up her spine. She shook it off and quietly stepped over to the front door, opening it to look outside only to see an unexpected face at her door.

"Echo?"

"Lilith. Or, sorry, it's Bloody now isn't it?" She purred this out, a wide smile on her face. She stepped around Bloody inside and glanced around.

Bloody shut the door and followed her, stuttering out some things before speaking. "How in the fuck did you even find me? We haven't spoken since.." she trailed off, rubbing her neck as a slight dark blush showed on her face.

Echo huffed and looked up to her, one set of her arms crossing and the other going to rest on her hips. "I have my ways. I'm not the main head of The Lab just for my looks."

At the mention of The Lab for the first time in a while, Bloody's mood quickly turned into anger. "Right. What do you want from me?"

"Your help. We've acquired.. a unique specimen at The Lab and she won't speak to anyone and is asking for you personally." Echo hummed, her eyes looking Bloody over.

"I'm not going back there." Bloody growled as she crossed her arms, "I've made myself pretty clear about that."

"But-"

"No. I'm not going with you." Bloody hissed now, stepping back over to the fireplace and lighting it. "Goodbye."

Echo narrowed her eyes, tapping her claws against her arm. She was quiet for a moment before smiling as a thought came to her. Her mouth dripped that venom of hers as she got excited about it.

She stepped over to Bloody who turned around to grab her before she did but she was too slow. Echo grabbed her arms in one set of her arms and shoved her up against the wall. The size difference was quite drastic between the two but that had never stopped Echo before.

"Let. Me. Go." Bloody showed her teeth in a snarl, flames licking across her arms only to be stopped as Echo bit down with her fangs into Bloody's neck injecting her venom.

Bloody winced and tried to thrash out of her grasp but quickly felt her energy fading. "I'm not letting you go so easily~" Echo giggled as she pulled away, watching as Bloody fell unconscious and smiling even wider.

The last thing Bloody saw before she fully succumbed to being knocked out was those damn handcuffs.

"Echo what the fuck?"

"She wasn't cooperating, so I made her cooperate."

"She's gonna fucking kill us, are you stupid? You should've just had Artemis go after her."

"She wouldn't have listened still."

"Ugh, whatever it's your job to deal with her."

"Gladly."

Bloody awoke with a gasp, sitting up and looking around.

Her heart sank.

"No no no no, NO!" She yelled, getting up and slamming herself into the door. She was in one of the cells of The Lab, the familiar cold and the hum of the ambience making that clear as well as the familiar room layout.

She pounded and kept ramming herself into the door with no luck before she slid down and punched the ground, tears fell from her eyes. Her magic was cut off from her in this room so there was nothing she could do there.

She pushed herself away from the door into a corner, curling up into a ball with her tail covering her as she broke down into sobs. Pure anger burned through her body which only made her sob and shake more.

About half an hour would pass till that door actually opened, Bloody pushed herself up to stand furiously wiping away her tears and looking to see who it was.

Echo.

Her blood boiled in pure rage, her fur raising on end. "Give me one good reason I shouldn't tear you limb from limb right now." She snarled out, tail lashing behind her.

Echo huffed as she closed the door behind her and looked to Bloody, one set of her hands went to her hips. "First off, you can't," she stepped over and paced around her, "second off, you are mine." She grinned widely, a set of green chains appearing in her free hand and attaching itself to Bloody's neck by a collar.

She pulled it towards her forcing Bloody to be down to her height with a snarl. "Be nice. I brought you here for a reason, you wouldn't have come with unless I forced you."

Bloody hissed through her teeth, glaring daggers at Echo. "Fuck you." She spat, a small lick of flames managing to spark from her golden markings.

"You wish. Now will you play nice or do I have to drag you along like a dog?"

"...fine. Fine. Whatever. Just let me go."

"Hm, maybe if you play nice." Echo purred, letting go of the chain making it vanish but not the collar before opening the door and walking out. Bloody growled low but followed after her, her tail lashing behind her.

The two would walk through those halls for about a minute before they came to another cell door. Echo stopped and unlocked it, opening it and motioning for Bloody to go in.

She growled at her but went inside and glanced around as the door was shut behind her.

It only took a second before she figured out who was in here.

She was pinned to the door, a dagger held to her stomach as that was the closest thing in reach. Large wings blocked the view of the rest of the room.

"Rora.." Bloody murmured softly even in this situation she looked at Aurora with a sadness and pain in her eyes.

"Lil." Aurora tilted her head slightly, her wings pressing back against her back. "Been waiting for you."

"I heard. They could've just told me it was you." Bloody sighed out, "what, did you have me brought here to finish killing me? I probably couldn't escape Death this time if you did."

Aurora was silent for a moment before she let go of Bloody and stepped back, lowering her dagger to her side. "No I... that wasn't even my plan, I don't want to have to kill you." She fidgeted with her coat a confused look on her face.

"So you're not with them?" Bloody questioned, raising a brow.

"No I just... I don't know, I felt like I had to help them I never realized how far gone they are." She started pacing, wings pressing tightly against her back, "the original plan was to go take down 3rr0r, not you. It should help a lot more now that he can't control you."

"What do you...?"

"You reek of poison," Aurora turned towards her, tilting her head again. "Whatever you did it hasn't fully left your body yet, so we have a small window where he can't go hide in you."

Bloody was surprised, reaching a hand up to her throat and rubbing it. "Well... that makes me, happy? Glad? But-" she thought for a moment before continuing, "can't he just go hide in someone else?"

"Not in the weakened state he's in. The most he can do is shift between forms. That's why it's the perfect time to strike, I just... need your help to get out of this room." Aurora sighed out, looking a bit defeated which made Bloody feel weird. "I didn't count on getting caught trying to find him."

Bloody hissed quietly, thinking. "Hmm..." she glanced towards her hand and attempted to reach for her magic. Surprisingly, this room didn't cut it off from her. A small flicker of flame formed in her hand making her grin widely. "Let's cause some mayhem."

The alarms were blaring all throughout The Lab as a familiar face had returned. Em basically ran into her and almost fell over, "Who the fuck just stands in the middle-?" She trailed off as she realized who it was.

"Sorry, I was never really one to know where I'm going to appear in here."

"Artemis. You know you shouldn't be here."

Artemis was quiet, her red eyes glancing over Em. She sniffed the air and her suspicions were confirmed. "You have my sister, I have a right to be here."

"Artemis..."

"Do not tell me what I can or can't do. You know that never ends well." She bared her fangs making Em step back and lower her ears. "Now let me do my thing." She didn't give her a chance to respond, simply following the trail of Bloody's scent through the halls.

Suddenly after about a minute of following the trail, the alarms stopped making Artemis pause and strain her ears to listen.  Running.

She faced the direction it was coming in to see Bloody coming at her with Aurora and Echo behind her. Before Bloody could get close to her she was pulled down to the ground by a green chain.

Aurora whipped around and flared her wings out as she lashed out at Echo, pinning her to the wall and pressing a dagger against her throat. Artemis took the chance to run over and kneel next to Bloody who was gasping slightly for breath, the green collar around her neck was tightening and cutting into her throat starting to press that wound back open.

Artemis hissed through her teeth and pressed her hands gently on each side of the collar before focusing her magic to make it vanish.

Bloody took a big gasp of air once it was off, sitting up and coughing and panting, "holy shit, thank you." She rubbed around her neck.

"Of course, I wasn't gonna just let you suffer."

Before the two could continue talking a scream rang out from Echo as Aurora slashed across one of her arms as she was shoved off of her. "You bitch!" She hissed, holding her arm as blood pooled and dripped from it.

Bloody's mouth was agape in shock and Artemis got up to put herself between Aurora and Echo. "She had every right you're lucky it wasn't me." She growled showing her teeth in a snarl.

"You have no right to talk here." Echo growled, her venom dripping from her mouth as she got more pissed off.

As the two argued Aurora stepped away and kneeled next to Bloody. "You okay? We need to keep going." She stood back up and held a hand out to her. Bloody glanced over to the other two before sighing and grabbing Aurora's hand to pull herself up. "I'm fine, let's go." She murmured and made the two vanish.

Artemis stopped and looked back to where the two had been before cursing. "Damnit Lilith." She looked back to Echo and grabbed her arm harshly, "What room is he in?"

"Why would I-" she was cut off as Artemis pinned her to the wall by her arms behind her back. "Because you could've killed my sister and now she's probably going to get herself killed again anyways without me, what. Room. Is. He. In."

Echo hissed out in pain struggling for a bit before giving up, "fine! Fine I'll show you. Just let me go." Artemis took a second but growled low and let her go. "Now. Let's go."

Bloody and Aurora appeared further into The Lab. This area was dark and very worn down. Bloody's ears pinned to her head as she looked around, "I've never.. seen it like this before."

"That's because this is new. It's specifically meant to keep 3rr0r trapped." Aurora murmured, stepping ahead and turning to face Bloody. "He may have fought a lot when they tried to contain him again instead of killing him so they blocked off this entire part of The Lab just for him."

Bloody crossed her arms tightly to her body. "She should have stuck to the plan.." she sighed and shook her head. Aurora was quiet for a moment before turning back around, "come on, it shouldn't take us too long before we run into him here."

She started walking down the hall and Bloody followed her after a few seconds. The two would walk those winding dark halls for a few minutes before coming to an even darker part.

"I can barely see here and I thought my eyes were good in the dark.." Bloody murmured as she stepped ahead of Aurora but froze, fear crawled up her spine when she realized why it was so dark.

One bright green red eye peered at her from the darkness before he came out of it. His claws dug into the ground and a snarl was on his face, saliva and blood dripped from his mouth.

"Lilith."

Bloody stepped back, her fur raising and her ears fully pinning to her head. "3rr0r." She replied back out of fear, baring her golden fangs.

Aurora stepped in front of her, flaring her wings out and holding her dagger tightly. He looked slightly taken aback for a second until a wide grin crept over his face, "my, my, this is a turn of events. Where's the other one? I thought you were also following Death's orders."

"My plan worked then. It was a trick to understand you better so I could take you down."

"Hmph. If you think I'm going down so easily even in this state you're wrong." He growled out, the tentacles forming from his back with those snapping mouths.

Aurora stood her ground only to get rammed into the wall by one of the tentacles and kept there as 3rr0r stepped closer to Bloody. "You." He snarled out, his tail lashing behind him.

Bloody snarled back, forming her flames in her hands. "I'm not weak anymore because of you, you aren't getting an easy fight."

He glanced her over for a second, a creepy smile forming on his face making Bloody's flames falter slightly.  "Don't think I'm the only one you have to focus on."

"What do you-?" She was cut off as she was rammed and pinned to the wall making her flames die out as she hissed in pain. A knife went to her stomach making her panic and kick them off only to be pulled down with them and pinned down to the ground with her arms pinned and a knee pressed onto her back.

"Lilith." It was Chronos, panting heavily and with a dark look on their face.

"Fuck you. Get the fuck off me." She snarled, her flames curling around her arms only to stop as they turned her over roughly and grabbed her by the chin, their claws digging into her jaw. "You should be dead."

"That doesn't fucking matter." She hissed out, struggling to get away and trying to thrash out of their grasp.

"Chronos stop please, we don't have to kill her." Aurora tried to reason with them only to get shoved onto the ground with the tentacle.

Chronos glanced over to her before focusing back on Bloody, bringing that knife to her cheek making her freeze. "The plan doesn't work if you're alive."

"What plan?"

Chronos let go of Bloody quickly and whipped around only to get grabbed by the front of their shirt by a very pissed off Artemis. Her eyes were a complete dark red and her teeth were bared in a snarl.

"It's none of your-"

"SHES MY SISTER." Artemis snarled before taking a breath, "she's my sister, it's my fucking business."

Chronos stayed silent which only made Artemis even more pissed as she threw them to the ground. "Whatever. You aren't killing her with me around."

"How sweet you think you can protect her." 3rr0r butted in, his tentacles going to pin down Chronos as well as going to Artemis who stepped out of the way while slashing at it. He growled but quickly grabbed Bloody instead and ran past the others, letting them go with a laugh.

Bloody hissed and clawed into the tentacle only to feel teeth biting down into her skin. She reached for her magic which made him let go in a burst of flames.

She shuffled herself away, unsteadily standing up and placing a hand to the new wounds in her side. "Fuck." She hissed through her teeth but knew she didn't have time to focus on the pain.

3rr0r roared out, shifting down to his smaller form and running at her only to stop as she vanished and appeared behind him and clawed at his back. He snarled and grabbed her wrist making her panic and vanish them both out of The Lab into the snow covered grass rolling with one another trying to gain control.

He came out triumphant and on top of her, hands going to her throat as she kicked and thrashed. "Stop."

She did stop only as his claws started to dig in, heart beating fast and smoke trailing from her mouth. "So is this it? You gonna finish what you started?" She hissed out, her hands wrapping around his wrists tightly.

He was silent which made her uncomfortable. "So? You're giving me mixed-" she was cut off as he opened his mouth to that gaping pit of teeth and tentacles. That was the opening she needed however as she gripped even tighter and threw him off as far as she could so she could push herself up to stand.

If she was going down she was going to take him down with her. She ran and shoved him back over right as he managed to stand back up, pinning him down to the ground with her hands flaming.

He hissed and roared out as the flames burned him, shifting into his larger form with Bloody keeping a hold on with her claws which made him even more pissed off.

He thrashed and formed his tentacles to grab her off and throw her into the wall of The Lab. She cried out, slumping against it while pressing a hand to her side as her flames died out. Pain throbbed through her. "Fuck fuck." She hissed, pushing herself back to stand to run at him only to get shoved back down.

"You are in no state to fight alone."

"Artemis. Took you long enough." Bloody spat out some blood, pushing herself up to at least be sitting up.

"Wasn't expecting you to teleport out here." Artemis bared her teeth but held her hand out to help Bloody up. She stared at it for a second but took it and stood up.

"Where's Rora and Chronos?"

"She's holding them back from following after you to try and kill you. They're completely gone."

"Of course. Just me and you then?" Bloody formed her flames with a snarl, amber eyes darkening.

"For now at least." Artemis formed her bow and arrow, aiming at 3rr0r as he turned to face the two finally having recovered from the burns.

"Look at you two, you think you can take me down without using your poison, Artemis?"

Artemis stayed silent, baring her teeth in a snarl and firing an arrow at him to which he dodged away from laughing. Bloody glanced over to her before looking back to 3rr0r, "What does he mean?"

"I..."

"Oh I see, you haven't told her yet." 3rr0r stepped closer, a wide grin forming on his face. "Here, I'll help you out." Before either of the two could react, he snatched Artemis with one of his tentacles tightly keeping her in a hold as she hissed and thrashed only to stop as the teeth started digging into her skin.

Bloody growled out, letting her flames die out once again as she couldn't attack without hitting Artemis. "Artemis. What does he mean?"

Her expression was unreadable as she was held in 3rr0r's grasp which made him grab her chin roughly to force her to look down at Bloody. "Tell her."

"Fine! Fuck." Artemis cursed out some things in a language Bloody hadn't heard in forever making her falter slightly. This was serious. "That time I didn't come back home. It... fuck I didn't think I'd have to be telling you this. I used a poison that was supposed to kill me as well as someone else."

"A Death Pact." 3rr0r basically purred that out, teeth digging in more into Artemis' skin making her wince before continuing. "I was dying, Unknown was already dead and then... Death showed up to take them away but the fucking bastard let me live with the poison still flowing through me."

"So what does that have to do with now and him though?" Bloody hissed out, a worried and confused look on her face.

"Without another Death Pact, anything you try to do to me is useless. Without her, you can do nothing." 3rr0r snarled this out, tossing Artemis through the wall of The Lab easily like it was paper.

"ARTEMIS!" Bloody cried out, forgetting about 3rr0r to vanish and appear inside through the wall next to Artemis who was pushing herself back up unsteadily wincing and hissing in pain.  "Fuck, fuck it's fine I'm okay. I've gone through worse." Bloody helped her stand back up only to have her press her back against the wall.

"Okay, yeah no that hurts like a bitch." She hissed through her teeth and pulled off her coat to inspect her wounds better.

"What do I have to do?" Bloody murmured softly, amber eyes glancing her over.

Artemis was quiet for a moment, her red eyes glancing away, "The Death Pact, it's the only way. I'm sorry."

"It's fine. It's okay. Let's take this bastard down just tell me what to do."

Artemis took a breath, pushing away from the wall with a wince and reached into the pockets of her coat pulling out that familiar bowl and dagger. She carefully kneeled on the ground, placing the bowl in front of her. "It's mostly going to be my pure blood as I still have plenty of the poison. You only get one shot at this however."

"I won't mess this up. You know me."

"You can't mess it up."

Artemis placed the dagger to her palm and sliced through it quickly but deeply holding it over the bowl and letting it freely pour in. Bloody watched quietly and her mouth went agape as she realized her blood was almost if not fully black in color. Artemis grit her teeth, her hand becoming a fist as she let a few more drops go in the bowl before pulling her hand back and grabbing some gauze from her coat to wrap it tightly.

"Okay. How do you want to do this? You can drink it or I can cover a weapon in it. Either way it'll end the same way."

Bloody gulped, nervously rubbing her throat. "I mean I'd rather not have to drink it but I don't really have a weapon I can or want to use." She sighed out, shaking her head.

Artemis grabbed the bowl and held it out to her, "Drink it it is than."

Bloody stared at the bowl for a second before taking it and downing it as fast as she could not wanting to think about the fact that it was literally just blood.

She hissed out once she finished, feeling her magic and claws become tainted by the poison ready to do the Death Pact. "How long do I have to actually do this?"

"I would say about an hour give or take since it's been diluted over the years."

"Alright." Bloody stood up, cracking her knuckles and neck, "let's do this."

There was a shift in the air. Well, if you could even say there was air in The Void.

Unknown gripped at their chest, feeling that poison burn and spread further across their skin. "Artemis.." they growled out in anger knowing she was doing something.

Death appeared in front of them, tilting that skull head of his at the clear anger on their face. "What's wrong, my love? You haven't made that face since I let Artemis live."

"I have to go to her. She's messing with the Plan." They paced,  tail lashing behind them. 

"You know the consequences if you do." Death stepped closer to them making them stop pacing and look up to him.

"I know. I'll be quick I just have to intervene or else she's going to stop the Plan completely."

He was quiet for a moment, though emotions weren't easy to see on his skull face there was clear worry in his eyes. "Alright. You have an hour, do not waste it." And with that, he snapped his fingers.

Bloody and Artemis had made their way out of the rubble of the busted wall back outside to 3rr0r who had been waiting for them only to be stopped as the air shifted.

Black curls of smoke rose from the ground becoming a form. Artemis backed away, "no... no no.." her hands shook, forming her bow.

Bloody stood in front of her though hesitated slightly, she had the Death Pact she had to use it on 3rr0r not whoever this was.

Before either of them could do anything the smoke fully formed into them, Unknown, and they quickly pinned Artemis to the wall by a dark scythe made of the same black smoke.

She hissed out, eyes darkening as she used one hand to grab the handle of the scythe and the other went to her side to grab her dagger only to have them toss her into the ground.

Bloody panicked, looking between the two then back to 3rr0r. Artemis could handle herself, couldn't she? She had to.

She cursed out, making the decision to go at 3rr0r who grinned widely and got into a ready stance. She formed her flames into a ball and got ready to blast it at him only to get smacked into the ground by a tentacle and then grabbed by another. Teeth dug into her only for him to screech and let go when her blood touched him.

"You dirty cheater." He snarled, tossing her into the ground and shifting down to his smaller form to pin her down like that. She thrashed and went to kick him off but she wasn't quick enough as his large claws slashed deeply across the side of her face and eye completely blinding that side as she kicked him off.

She yelled and cried out, blood pooling and the pain throbbing across her face. She rolled onto her stomach and pushed herself up only to fall back down. "Fuck!" She snarled and pressed her hand to the wounds only to flinch and feel her consciousness starting to fade.

She didn't even finish him yet. That anger burned through her, giving her the strength to get up and run at him with her whole body enveloping in flames.

And just as she grabbed and pinned him she was shoved off and flown away up onto the roof her flames quickly dying out.

"What the fuck?! I had him!" She snarled out, going to grab whoever it was only to falter slightly when she saw it was Gh0st.

"I'm not letting you kill yourself. There's a better way to do this."

"No. Fuck you I'm doing this my way, I don't care if I go down as well." Bloody hissed out, going to teleport back down only to be grabbed by the wrist. Panic filled her entire being as she whipped back around and snarled in Gh0st's face.

Gh0st simply kept a hold and a calm yet worried expression on her face even as Bloody tried to pull away. "I'm not letting you kill yourself." She repeated with more force.

"Like you give a shit, you just want him to live don't you?" Bloody growled low, golden fangs glinting in the light. Gh0st looked away at that which made Bloody scoff and pull her arm away from her grasp. "That's what I thought. He doesn't deserve to live, he doesn't deserve mercy, Gh0st."

"I didn't..."

"It's written all over your face you don't have to say shit." Bloody growled out going to the edge of the roof only to step back when Gh0st was suddenly in front of her. Black wings with glittering space like markings had sprouted from her back and kept her flying unsteadily.

"There's a better way to get rid of him that doesn't involve you killing yourself, you're too... you're too important Lilith."

Back on the ground, Artemis was pinned to the ground by Unknown with 3rr0r watching over the two in his larger form once again, not daring to intervene as this was between those two.

"How dare you try to intervene with Death's Plan. You were his assassin." They bared their teeth, only to hiss out as Artemis dug her dagger into their thigh and shoved them off so she could stand, panting.

"I was his assassin and yet he sent you to kill everyone of us." Artemis snarled, stepping back as they stood up and pulled the dagger out of their thigh throwing it to the ground in front of her.

"Because there was a traitor amidst everyone. I was sent to purify it." Unknown raised their scythe going to slice down at Artemis only to have her run and shove them over onto the ground, pinning them by their own scythe with a snarl on her face as she got close to their own.

"You aren't stopping me from helping Lilith. We could do this till the end of time but it won't stop me." Her tail flicked behind her, her breath hot and easily leaving little puffs in the air from the cold.

Unknown growled out low, "you play so smartly yet, you have no idea what I know." Artemis looked at them with confusion only to suddenly be shoved off and have her chest burn and throb in pain. She hissed out, "what did you do?" She tried to push herself up only to cry and fall back down as the pain went throughout her whole being. The marks of the poison that she hated spread across her body.

Unknown kneeled next to her, a wide smile on their face. "The Death Pact starts anew, let's see if you're lucky enough to live this time."

Artemis eyes widened, fear crawling up her spine. The clock was ticking down. Fuck, how did they restart it? She didn't have time to think about it, forcing herself up even with the pain. She spit out some blood, hissing. "Fine, you want to play it that way? I'll play dirty too." Before they could respond or stop her she threw that dagger at 3rr0r.

He had been too caught up in observing them as well at the two on the roof that he didn't dodge in time. The dagger lodged itself into his leg and he let out a roar and grabbed it out. "How dare-" he stopped, watching as the wound darkened and started to spread that black across his fur. The Death Pact.

But that wasn't possible, how could she have applied it and when?

Artemis couldn't help the grin that formed on her own face. "Get fucked." She grabbed Unknown, shoving them against the wall as 3rr0r snarled and ran at the wall, clawing into it and climbing the building to get to Bloody.

Even if he was dying he was finishing this.

Bloody was completely caught off guard as a tentacle grabbed her and Gh0st, claws digging into the roof as 3rr0r climbed over and up onto it. He snarled out, holding Gh0st more tightly as she yelped and tried to get out of his grasp.

Bloody snarled and formed her flames across her hands, making the tentacle let go with a screech.

She looked up to him, amber eyes full of anger and still some fear. He lowered his face to her, teeth baring. "This is where we end things. This is the deciding point. Will you triumph? Or will you fall to me."

"I don't fall to anyone."

Bloody roared out, forming her ball of flames only for him to put Gh0st in front of him. She hissed, still keeping her flames but not firing them yet. "Coward. Leave her out of this."

"I think not. You two have been planning something, I'm not letting it happen." A smile crept across his face, laughing now. "Let's see how good you really are, I can still fight with her but can you fight me without harming her?" He didn't give her a chance to respond, going at her with his mouth wide.

She dodged barely out of the way as he bit down on where she had been, firing her ball of flames at the side of his face. He roared and screeched out, tossing and completely forgetting about Gh0st who kept herself standing by her wings.

Bloody glanced towards her than back to 3rr0r. The Death Pact was fading but she wasn't going to use it anymore. He ran at her again only to screech out again as she fired her flames at him.

She panted, waiting and continuing the same thing a few times. He would come at her, she would fire her flames at him until finally he shifted down to his smaller form. That's what she had been waiting for.

Right as he did it, she ran at him and grabbed him throwing them off the roof before he could react. Time seemed to slow down as they fell. He clawed into her arms making her hiss and snarl at him, her flames crawling across her body.

Just as they came close to the ground she kicked him off and was grabbed by Gh0st who barely caught her, panting and glancing away as 3rr0r crashed into the ground.

She slowly brought Bloody to the ground away from him, letting her go and running over to 3rr0r. Bloody spat blood at the ground, hissing out. "Go to hell." She glanced over to see Artemis and Unknown staring at the scene in shock. Unknown especially who shoved away from Artemis to go to 3rr0r.

"No, no no! You bastard, you fucking idiot. Why did you have to toy with her? Fuck!" They punched the ground near him, tears forming in their eyes. They reached out, placing their fingers to his neck only to roar out angrily before suddenly going deathly calm. "That's it. It's over than." They stood, turning and going up to Bloody who stepped back, flames forming in her hands.

"The Plan is left unfinished. How proud you must feel, going against Death." They hissed out, pure anger in their eyes yet their voice was calm, "it's over. I'm leaving." With that they whipped around and turned into the smoke, vanishing.

Bloody took a breath, not realizing she had been holding it in. "Holy shit." She didn't get a chance to breathe as Artemis ran up and hugged her tightly making her flinch at the sudden touch.

"Sorry, sorry." She pulled away, her red eyes looking her over only for her to hiss and hold a hand to her chest.

"Artemis?" Bloody questioned softly, worry showing on her face.

"It's fine. I'm okay, I just.. fuck I thought it would go once they went back." Artemis growled out, slowly sitting on the ground with Bloody kneeling next to her. Her eyes widened when she saw those black marks slowly spreading across her fur.

"Your Death Pact... But I thought-?"

"I know."

"No, no don't do this to me. You can't die, I just got you back." Bloody's voice filled with panic, pushing herself up to pace. Her claws went through her hair as she tried to think her tail lashing behind her.

"Is there anything to stop it?"

"Nothing that we can get in time."

"No, no there has to be something."

Gh0st quietly looked over to the two, pushing herself away from 3rr0r's body to go to Artemis' side. She looked up to her, her breathing getting rough. "Gh0st. Im sorry you have to be here to witness this as well."

She was quiet, wings unfurling before pressing back against her back. "I... I can stop it."

The other two looked at her in surprise, Bloody especially who went up to her and placed her hands on her shoulders. "Please. I would be forever in your debt."

Gh0st looked up into her amber eye and the wounded side of her face, her own yellow ones searching  for a moment before she nodded and moved to kneel next to Artemis. "Take my hands." She spoke softly, holding out her hands to which Artemis took, the black markings trailing over her fingers.

She closed her eyes, speaking words in a language neither of the two had heard before. The black markings started receding back to how they had been before and Artemis felt like she could actually breathe.

Gh0st furrowed her brows, her speaking getting louder before her magic curled around the two and created a blast of light making the other two blind for a moment.

When they both recovered, Gh0st as well as 3rr0r's body was gone just leaving the two on their own.

"Holy shit." Bloody couldn't help the words that tumbled out, going down to Artemis and hugging her tightly. "Thank absolute fuck, I don't think I could take you dying again."

Artemis hugged her back, silent tears falling from her face. They stayed there like that for a while before a sudden scuffle fell out of the open wall of The Lab.

Bloody looked over and winced. "Fuck, I forgot about...them." She pulled away and stood, holding her hand out to Artemis to help her up as well.

It was Aurora and Chronos. Aurora currently had them pinned, panting heavily with multiple cuts across her face and her sleeves. They were about the same but with less cuts, it looked like she hadn't really wanted to hurt them.

"If I were you Lilith, I would leave." She looked over to her hissing out before focusing back on keeping Chronos pinned.

Bloody glanced to Artemis and sighed out. "Back on the run I go I guess. I promise I'll see you soon." She pulled her into a hug before pulling away.

"Not if I manage to catch up to you first." Artemis grinned, her tail wagging slightly.

"Good luck with that." And with that, Bloody vanished leaving the others to themselves.

It had been a few months. It was a dark cloudy night, light rain and a cool breeze blew through the trees outside. Inside a dark cabin a clock was ticking softly as the seconds went by, and inside the room was Bloody. She was laying in bed, tossing and turning with a pained expression on her face before she woke up with a gasp, sitting up quickly while panting and shaking.

"Fuck... again." She muttered, rubbing her eye and letting her claws drag lightly down her face. The side that had been clawed into had healed into nasty scars and she hadn't recovered any sight from her eye so she'd had it removed and replaced with a fake one that barely could be seen anyways because of her hair.

She glanced to the clock. 1:03 a.m. "Ugh." She got up out of bed, going to the window and grabbing her pack of cigarettes from the windowsill and taking one out.

She lit it with her thumb, placing it in her mouth and taking a long drag then letting it out. It was quiet save for the leaves blowing in the wind.

Despite everything having ended a few months ago, she never fully confirmed if 3rr0r was dead or not. And Chronos was still after her which didn't make matters any better. And that price still hung over her head.

She still had a while to go before living a "normal" life again.

She sighed out, taking another drag from the cigarette before burning it up fully and going to lay back down to try to go back to sleep.

As she slowly drifted back to sleep, she felt the feeling of being watched but she pushed it away focusing on just getting some more sleep.

The balance had been thrown off, and Bloody was in the eye of the storm that she didn't even know of.
