"I'm not in love with anyone." I said for the 10th time since Recovery Girl got their.

"Bakugou." Aizawa sighs, and I stand up, walking around my room as Recovery Girl stares at me.

"I'm not! Also, you still fail to explain why this only happens to Male Omegas." I say, and he sighs, and Recovery Girl clears her throat.

"It started off as a legend. As you know, Male Omegas, while natural, aren't as common. We don't know why, obviously, but you read the stories on the hate they received in the olden days. While your father probably received probably some Bakugou." She said sympatheticly, and I growled at the thought.

"The legend is about a male Omega, started off back in the tribal days. When we still did major packs and hunted. A male omega who was ostracized from his pack since he presented. He only had one friend. An Alpha. This Alpha was the only reason he wasn't completely kicked out of the pack. They grew up together as pups." She explains, and I frown, listening to this.

"The Omega soon fell in love with the Alpha, and they did everything. One day, the Omega built the courage to tell the Alpha his feelings. He went to find him, but instead, he found a group of Alphas talking about his Alpha would never love him and that he was just delusional. Overhearing this...the Omega fell feral, the only person who cared about him and he thought they didn't love him. The pain was too much, and he jumped off a cliff." She said, and my eyes widened.

"The Alpha came across his body. The Omega somehow was still alive but was close to death. He admitted to the Alpha that he loved him. The Alpha told him he loved him too. As the Omega took his last breath, they kissed. When the Alpha pulled away, the Omega died in his arms." She said, and I was shocked

"The Alpha in despair wished he would have known. Laid the Omegas body on a bed of roses in a field nearby. The last thing he saw before he took his own life was blood coming from the Omegas' mouth landing on a rose. He cursed unknown love before taking a knife to his chest. He died next to his Omega.." She said, and I bite my lip

This sounds awfully like Romeo and Juilet, sort of.

"They say when he said the curse that the blood and the petals mixed. Soon after their deaths, it is said that many Omegas would start coughing bloody petals. Many of them got so close to death, and on their death beds, they would tell their feelings to the person they were in love with and would instantly be healed. Some took it to the grave and died." She says, and Aizawa speaks up.

"As the years went on, very few male omega's were born. We only get a handful of every generation. Since Alphas typically will ask out Omegas and the male Omega becomes less of a social issue. Less cases of Hanahaki Disease pop up. The government has also forbade teaching this disease anywhere unless it happens to you or if you're going into healthcare." Aizawa explains, and I frown

"Why the hell isn't it taught." I snap, and Recovery Girl sighs.

"A disease that affects only a certain group of people. That only can happen if you're in love with someone who doesn't know that you're in love with them. Can cause panic. Apparently, from what they say." She says, annoyed.

"Also their isn't a cure. The only cure is telling the person you love them. Whether they love you back doesn't matter. It will cure it." Aizawa says and looks at me, and I growl

"I'm not in love with anyone. Fuck off." I say and he raises an eyebrow.

"This doesn't happen to be about the Alpha you reek of?" He asks, and I realize Touyas scent is all over me.

Suddenly, it hit me every time I was around Touya since yesterday. His compliments, his caring nature. They way he tried to protect me. It made me feel something when every time I think about him is when I get that burning sensation and start -

I start coughing again, and Aizawa grabs the trashcan, and I cough the blood and petals in there.

"Fucking hell." I growl and Aizawa pats my back.

"Was I right?" He asks, and I shoot him a glare.

"We met a while ago. We started becoming close a few days ago...he found me when I went feral yesterday. Brought me to his place and took care of me until I came to." I said, and Aizawa nods a bit.

"No offense. How old is he?" He asks, and I realize I said his place.

"He just turned 19, only a few years difference, don't worry." I assure you, and he nods.

"You're about to be 17 in a few weeks, so I don't really care. But, you need to tell him." He says, and I growl.

"We just barely became friends. You know how fucking crazy that sounds." I snap and he frowns.

"This is life or death. The lifespan of a male omega with this disease is 2 weeks. You are my student do not make me tell your parents about this. He says, and I growl and get up.

"I need air." I snap, and he sighs as I walk out the door.

I run downstairs, head out the door, and immediately take a deep breath.

"This is fucking nuts, because of a curse from hundreds of years ago I have to admit my fucking feelings or I die? How the hell is that fair?" I say to myself as I walk down the street.

I listen to the sounds of the city, and I see a couple holding hands. The two women seemed content in each other's embrace, and I started picturing Touya and I.

The burning came back, and I dart into an allyway and start coughing the bloody petals again.

"Bakugou?" I hear, and I look up seeing Shigiraki.

"Fuck." I mutter and he frowns and looks around before gesturing me to follow him.

"Quick come inside, this is my other warehouse." He says, and I hesitate but sigh and follow him in.

I see the green reptile dude look up, his eyes widening

"Don't start Spinner. I told you about Dabi and Bakugou when I got home." He says, and Spinner sighed.

"I was caught by surprise. Woah, are you okay? You look pale." He says seeing me.

"I'm fucking fine." I snap and Shigiraki scoffs.

"Says the bitch coughing blood and petals." He says and I snap my head up and he stares me down.

"You're mistaken." I say, and he scoffs

"You're talking to 2 male omega's," He says, and I turn to Spinner, not knowing that.

"How do you know about that? It's not well known." I say, and Shigiraki turns to Spinner.

"He had a crush on Compress." He said, pointing his thumb at Spinner who rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, and Shigiraki caught me coughing the bloody petals. We researched about it together. I sucked it up and told compress. He didn't reciprocate them, but he was nice about it. And the bloody petals stopped. So did my feelings for him." He said, and I nodded slowly

Do I really have to fucking tell Touya?

Shigiraki is studying me a bit, and I glance away

"I'm not going to talk romance with you. We barely know each other. But I'll say Dabi will be depressed if you fucking die and I don't want to deal with his crying." He says snappily

I can tell he seemed concerned partly. We did get along yesterday, but he doesn't want to seem like he cares.

"I'm going to wait... I want to get to know them better. We barely know each other." I say quietly and Spinner frowns

"Don't wait to long. 2 weeks before you die from it. It gets worse day by day." He warns, and as he says that, the burn appears, and I turn away coughing, and Shigiraki gestures me to follow him and leads me to the bathroom. And spit it up in the sink.

"Why are you helping me?" I ask snd he shrugs.

"Told you and Dabi yesterday. We're going to try to do better. I'm going to dye my hair back to its natural color. Talk to Giran about getting my skin better. So I can fucking go out in public." He says and I sit up sighing.

"What about Spinner?" I ask, being a heteromorph or a mutant. It will be harder to hide his identity, Shigiraki goes quiet for a moment.

"I don't know. We're figuring it out." He says, and I nod.

"Tell Dabi, Bakugou. I know him pretty well. He won't be an asshole." He says, and I look up at him.

"How the he-" I start, and he cuts me off.

"I'm not fucking stupid. I could tell you like him. Also, I think he likes you." He says, and I roll my eyes.

"Yeah, right, a hero and a villain?" I ask, and he smirks.

"If you've read any romance novels. They say opposite attract and are 9 times out of 10 in every book or movie about romance. Star cross lovers. Whatever." He says, and I raise an eyebrow.

"Sounds like you're reading the romance novels around here." I smirk, and he shoots me a glare.

"Shut the hell up. Wait, why aren't you at school?" He asks, and I groan.

"Aizawa came to talk to me. Saw me coughing up the petals. He doesn't want me at school while I have this, I think. I actually walked away from him. I'm surprised he hasn't blown up my phone." I admit looking at my phone, and I suddenly see a text from Touya.

Fireball: Why aren't you at school?

"Did you fucking snitch to Touya?" I snap and he frowns.

"No, why the hell would I do that?" He asks, and we both look at each other, then immediately head to the other room.

"Spinner! Did you fucking text Dabi?" Shigiraki asks and he looks up.

"I mean, if Bakugous here might as well have someone he knows decently so it isn't as awkward." He says, and I curse, and I head to the front door.

"Bakugou there's no use in leaving you have to tell him or you'll fucking die." Shigiraki calls and I ignore him opening the door and low and behold.

"Katsuki?"

Touya.
