*Mizuki's POV*

I stood nervously in the Headmaster's office, already in my new Day Class uniform that is a perfect fit.

He held a fabric cuff that had red intricate designs on it before carefully placing it on my right arm.

"You are now an officer of the Disciplinary Committee in this academy. Your job is to protect the students, boy Day Classes and Night Classes. I'm sure you know by now," he said.

I gulped and nodded, knowing he was talking about the secret of the Night Class students.

He nodded and then went to his desk and pulled out a thigh holster with a silver rod adjusted to it.

"This belonged to our last officer, and it will be your's until we can get you a new weapon to master. This is called the Artemis. You wrap the belt on your thigh, but knowing your past, I will let you put that on yourself," he said. "I don't want you mentioning about out last officer to you partner, my son. Her departure from the academy hurt him."

I bit my lip nervously. "Y-Yes, Headmaster."

"I understand you are afraid, Mizuki. But I promise you, you will be safe here in Cross Academy."

I couldn't help but smile. "Thank you, Headmaster."

It was then the door opened and a girl with short light brown hair entered.

She looked sad.

"You asked for me, Headmaster?" she asked.

"Yes, Yori, hello. This is our new student, Mizuki Sakuma. She will be your new roommate."

"Oh," she said, her tone showing disappointment.

I gulped nervously.

"I understand she's not Yuki, Yori, but we still need to continue life as it is," he said.

"I know," she said.

"I will leave you two to go sleep and get acquainted. I already gave you your time tables and information," Headmaster said.

I nodded. "Thank you, Headmaster Cross. Good night," I said, bowing down in respect.

"Anytime, Mizuki. Good night," he said, handing me the fabric cuff and Artemis.

We soon left the room.
