[Mizuki's POV]

I groaned as I woke up and saw I was in the infirmary.

"Mizuki," a soft voice said, and my vision cleared to see it was Takuma.

"T-Takuma?" I mumbled as I sat up, feeling a familiar pain in my neck and gasped.

"Mizuki, rwlax., you're okay," he said.

I felt tears stream down my face as I remembered everything.

"Z-Zero...." I sobbed. "H-How...?!"

"Its a long story," Takuma said sadly. "One the Headmaster has to tell you."

I just cried and hugged my legs. "W-Where is he? Where's Zero?"

"The Headmaster has him in his dorm," Takuma said as the door opened.

The Headmaster walked in with a sad look.

"Mizuki," he said.

I just cried as he hugged me and I cried into his shoulder.

"I'm sorry. You must have been very scared finding this out," he said. "I should have told you this sooner."

"Y-You knew?" I sobbed, looking up at him.

He sighed. "He was once human, Mizuki. In fact, Zero came from a family of vampire hunters, the greatest in the Association. That is until one night, Zero's family was killed-"

"By a vampire?" I said, remembering the story. "But how does...?"

"That vampire, who killed them and spared his life... Was a pureblood vampire," he said.

I froze.

A-A pureblood?!

"Zero was found with bites on his neck that night. His brother was a minion to Shizuka, but he perished in order to help his brother survive to fight off her mate," Headmaster said.

Ichiru... The Cursed Twins... That means....

"I can promise you, Zero never meant for this to happen. He tried everything to assure your safety, but the blood lust was far too great," The Headmaster said.

"Nonetheless, you are safe, and alright. Just get some rest when you get back to your dorm. I already alerted Yori what happened," he said.

I look up. "Yori knows, too?"

"That is something I will tell you soon enough, but yes, she knows. However, she is human, so you don't have to fear her," he said, then turned to Takuma.

"The Night Class caught the scent and are worried," he said.

"I should go calm them down. Sleep well, Mizuki. I promise, Zero won't hurt you," Takuma said, giving me a small smile.

I gulped and nodded, wiping my tears as he left and Headmaster put some gauze on my neck.

"Let me see Zero," I mumbled.

He looked surprised. "Mizuki..."

"Please, Headmaster Cross, I want to see him. He looked so scared... When I saw him... Before I fainted," I said. "I just want to see him, please."

Headmaster nodded. "You can see him tomorrow morning, alright?" He smiled.

I nodded back as he hugged me and I hugged him back.

This is... A lot to take in...

The Headmaster escorted me back to my dorm where Yori waited for me.

He said good night and left and that's when I burst into tears quietly.

"Mizuki?" Yori said worriedly.

I sniffle and wiped my tears as she hugged me.

"I'm sorry," I cried.

"You have nothing to apologize for," she said. "Its going to be okay."

I hope she's right.

Yet... I feel like I caused so much trouble...
