[Mizuki's POV]

I walked around patrolling during class, wondering where Zero was.

I was sad. He's been avoiding me lately, and been so cold. I don't know why, maybe its because he's remembering his brother.

I shouldn't have bought it up. I probably hurt him.

It was then I heard excitement and screams and turned and froze.

Two night class students.

I gulped.

Okay, you can do this.

"Good morning, ladies," one said cockingly.

"Hold it right there. Night class students aren't allowed during Day Class sessions," I said sternly.

"Mizuki Cross, right?" One said and I froze.

"Y-Yes?" I asked.

"Been wanting to meet you. My names Aido Hanabusa, and that's my cousin, Akatsuki Kain," he said, a playful smirk in his face.

"May I ask what you guys want?" I asked. "Or must I report you to the vice oroesident and headmaster?"

"None of the sort. Just wanted to ask something," he said.

"Umm... Okay?" I said, keeping my distance, and hearing some of the students speaking.

"Its always the Disciplinary Committee!"

"It looks like she doesn't want to talk though."

"But why wouldn't she want to talk to Idol?"

Wait... Idol?

"Somewhere more private maybe?" He asked.

I gulped and sighed. "Alright, but I'm armed."

"Harsh, but alright. We just wanted to ask where Zero Kiryu was," he said.

I scrunched my eyebrows.

"W-What do you want with Zero?" I asked.

"Hmm, so you don't know," I heard him mumble.

"What?" I asked.

"Oh. Nevervind," he said. "But do you know?"

"I wish I did," I sighed.

"You trouble yourself," he said, walking up, about to loop his arm around me, but I step back.

He cocked an eyebrow at the action, but shrugged.

"Well, if you see him, just tell him Takuma wants to see him, make sure he's doing okay," he said. "And maybe you should also mention that you can't hold ththe fort down on your own."

As he said that, he stepped up closer and I stepped back, only to trip and fall.

I felt a sharp pain on my hand and looked to see it was scrapped bloody and gasped, trying to remain calm.

"Oh just relax, we already ate," he said as his cousin came up and smacked his head. "OW!"

"Dorm President Ichijo said not to bother her," he said in a blank yet stern voice.

He held his hand up to help me, just like before.

"Need some help? I can escort you to the infirmary," he said.

He looked so bored, but yet had some seriousness in his face.

"I'm not gonna hurt you. I'll make sure that fool doesn't bother you," he said.

"Hey!" Aido snapped.

I gulped and with my good hand took Akatsuki's hand as he helped me up, releasing me.

"Come on," he said and we walked, him walking next to me as Aido drudged upset behind us.

I got my hand cleaned and wrapped up in gauze and walked out to see Akatsuki and Aido.

I gulped and bowed to them.

"Thank you for helping me, Akatsuki-san, Aido Senpai. I'm sorry for any trouble I've caused," I said.

Don't mention. No trouble. Just yell if you ever need any help," he said, then bowed.

I gasped quietly.

Is this vampire... Bowing?

"So long, Mizuki-san. Keep up the good work. Be careful next time," he said, then grabbed his cousin by the ear and made him yelp.

Akatsuki is... Nice. Very serious looking, but... Nice...

[Zero's POV]

I walked down the stairway when I suddenly felt the urge coming back.

No... No, please.....

I reached into my pocket and grabbed the blood tablets when suddenly a sharp pain shot into my throat and I gasped and clutched at it as my tattoo burned, the tablets falling from my grasp.

This can't be happening. I need to stop. Someone's coming... Someone...

"Zero?" I hear.

Mizuki... No...

"Zero, I've been looking everywhere for you," she said.

Run away, Mizuki... Please, run away...

"I-If its something I said, Zero, I'm sorry. I didn't know it would hurt you,and I'm sorry," she said.

I felt her step down and I panicked.

"STOP!" I yelled, and she gasped.

"Just... Just get away from me," I said in a harsh voice.

She was quiet. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring back any thoughts," she said, in a shakey voice.

"I.... I should have never talked to you," she cried and was turning around, and I immediately turn around.

"Wait, Mizuki," I said, and took her hand, and immediately a bloody bandage unravked itself and my senses sharped... Lust... Grew stronger...

Blood.... I want blood....

"Z-Zero?" Mizuki mumbled, confused.

[Mizuki's POV]

All of a sudden, Zero yanked me towards him, my back against his chest as he held me in a strong hold.

I felt my heart accelerate a million heartbeats a second.

All of a sudden, Zero's tongue trailed up my neck.

"Z-Zero?! Wha-What are you doing?!" I panicked.

Next thing I know, an all too familiar feeling pierced my neck and I gasped in pain.

Fangs....!! Th-Those are fangs!!

I was frozen in shock, not even able to scream, before I processed what was happening, feeling my blood escaping from my system.

Hearing as he drank it.

"Z-Zero!!" I cried and shook him off, collapsing in front of him and holding my neck as I looked up in horror.

Eyes the color of blood.... Fangs protruding from his mouth....

No... No, it can't be true..... It can't be true.....

"Zero..." I said in shock..

Zero..... Zero is a vampire...!?

[Takuma's POV]

"You're saying Kaname lied to him?" I asked the headmaster.

He sighed. "I believe so. His thirst for blood is returning, and he could fall to a Level E in the future," he said. "The blood Kaname gave him didn't affect him, unfortunately, even if he overcame the throat during the battle," the Headmaster said.

"This shocks me, yet... Its expected from Kaname," I said.

Suddenly, I smell something in the air and felt my body go rigid as I turned.

"Takuma?" The headmaster said

"Headmaster, that scent.... Its blood," I said.

I heard him gasp as I ran out his office.
