Chapter Eleven
Michael's POV
"What the hell are we going to do?!" Reilly had asked me for the fifth time in the last three minutes.
"We're going to break in and save her ass again," I sighed.
"This is all my fault. I pushed her. I didn't know they were shooting at us!"
"Wait you what?!" I yelled, feeling my eyes burn. I was beyond hiding who I was anymore. Quinn had taught me it was okay, even if she did it in the most annoying way possible.
"Oh, I thought you... saw that."
"No, I didn't fucking see that. God dammit Reilly. You better beg for forgiveness when you see her or she's going to blow your head off."
"I know," he groaned, burying his head in his hands.
I craned my neck again to see over the ledge of rock we were hiding behind. We had managed to sneak close enough to their base, but we hadn't been able to get inside yet.
"Status?" Reilly asked.
"Still just three guards, I'm hoping there will be less tomorrow when they think we aren't coming. It's too dark now, but we'll hit as soon as the sun rises."
"Okay," he sighed. "Your plan better work."

My watched buzzed signaling it was 5 in the morning. I sat up and tried to move my stiff joints. We were still in the mountains, which meant we were still weak from the cold.
"Reilly, wake up," I whispered. He rolled over and looked at me.
"Didn't get any sleep?" I asked, noticing his sharp eyes and tired look.
"Not a wink," he said, stretching.
I looked over the ledge again as Reilly continued cracking his neck and back. Yes! There were only two guards now!
"Halle-fucking-lujah!" I whisper-yelled. "There's only two guards. Now let's go!"
Reilly took our bags and stuffed them under the rock outcropping and buried them beneath the snow. After our bags were hidden we slowly snuck our way behind the guards, silent and deadly.
Looking towards Reilly, I nodded once. We both sprung out towards the guards, wrapping our hands around their necks and swiftly twisting them until they had snapped. We then dragged the two bodies away from the gate doors and exchanged clothes, only we left them without theirs.
Making our way back around the front, we scanned our badges on the gates small keypad as we'd seen the other guards do. With a soft whir and click, the doors flew open and we marched into the hallway beyond. It was almost pitch black except for the lights along the floor.
I could feel us getting deeper underground as we walked. The path went on for what felt like forever until it finally split into three different hallways, none of which were marked.
"How are we supposed to f–"
"Shh!" I shushed him, not really needing him to be quiet, but I didn't feel like listening right now.
I raised my head, closed my eyes and inhaled deeply through my nose. I could smell they way they had taken her. Reilly must have known what I was doing and followed my gaze to the left tunnel. He began walking, now leading the way.
After another long stride through the darkness, we could finally hear voices and see light ahead. I motioned for Reilly to follow me, walking closer to the wall so we wouldn't be seen.
Before we reached the end the voices had faded and were replaced by silent, but the light still remained, so we continued walking, trying to be silent in the guards combat boots.
Finally reaching the end there was a long room full of small chambers. They were all dark except the first one on the right. It had to be Quinn.
I looked around first, looking for people and cameras, but found none. It was safe to go forward. Nodding towards Reilly, we both stepped towards the chamber slowly, careful of any sound we made.
"Oh god," both Reilly and I said in unison, spinning away from the window. Quinn was laying on the table inside, naked.
I could see Reilly turn to look at her out of the corner of my eye, and I slammed my fist to his temple, knocking him over.
"Don't look at her!" I yelled, angrily. "Jesus, Reilly. Come on."
Careful not to look at her, I threw open the chamber door. A little too quickly, I might add, as I didn't realize the doctor that stood on the other side.
"What are you two doing here?" He asked, stepping away from a cart full of strange medical things.
"Um. . ."
"Orders from the Boss," Reilly said, saving me. "We have to bring her upstairs."
"Upstairs, you say?"
Oh god. What if there wasn't an upstairs?
"Okay," he said finally. He left without another word.
I exhaled loudly, not knowing I hadn't been breathing.
"What do we do now?" I asked, still not looking towards Quinn.
"Here," Reilly said, handing me a hospital down.
Looking away and walked towards Quinn and placed it over her so that she wasn't revealing anything anymore. I then proceeded to shake her awake violently. I didn't know how much time we had.
"Quinn, wake up!" I yelled.
She finally opened her eyes, startled to death by us shaking her. Looking around she noticed her lack of clothes and glared at us swiftly.
"Hey, at least we covered you. Now hurry up we have to go!" I said, turning to look towards the door.
"Turn around!" She yelled, smacking both of us as we looked at her.
I could hear her snapping off the final restraints as she put on the hospital gown. It didn't do a much better job at covering her than it had earlier.

Quinn's POV
My eyes flew open, hearing the yelling around me and feeling my body being shaken. Reilly and Michael were here! They had come to save me!
I tried to sit up but I noticed I was still restrained and that I was naked. I looked towards Michael and Reilly angrily.
"Hey, at least we covered you. Now hurry up we have to go!" Michael yelled, untying the restraints around my arms.
"Turn around!" I yelled, as I started pulling off the final restraints. I then put on the hospital gown and stood from the table, wobbling slightly.
"I don't have my stuff. They took it. But it's too late to get it back. We need to go."
Michael and Reilly nodded, and grabbed me, each dragging me by an arm through the door and down the dark hall.
Reilly has shoved me in front of him, in what I thought was a protective way, but I then noticed he was just staring at my butt.
"Reilly!" I growled loudly.
Suddenly an alarm went off and the hallway went from being dark to being a luminous red.
"Shit," Michael breathed. "Run!"
We sped down the hallway, hearing thundering boots behind us. After a few minutes of running I felt like I wanted to collapse. I wasn't sure how much longer I could do this. The cold had made me very weak.
"Come on Quinn," Michael yelled, pulling me closer to him. "It's just a bit farther."
"I-I can't Michael," I said, panting. My legs were shaking horribly. "Just leave me here. Go without me. I'm not worth it."
"You are worth everything Quinn. I'm not leaving you." Michael grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder, still managing to run at the same time.
I could see a wall of blackness up ahead and I wondered why we were still running. We were going to run right into it.
"Reilly, now!" Michael yelled.
I heard a loud roar and looked over Michael's shoulder to see Reilly transform just as he crashed into and then through the door. He made a gash large enough for us to fit through.
Michael leapt through the hole and set me down in the snow so I could shift. Only we were now surrounded by other men with guns, each were trained on us. Where was Reilly?
I looked towards Michael worriedly, but he seemed oddly calm. He had planned something.
Before I could process another thought, I felt two large claws clasp around us and then we were soaring. Reilly had snuck up on all the guards and grabbed us before they could realize what was happening.
"Wooo!" Michael yelled, throwing his fists in the air. "Reilly head straight for the boarder!"
We were home free now.
