"No, no, oh my god no!" Jay whispered, tears forming in his eyes. "Cole... I didn't mean to..." His voice trailed away, knowing that apologizing wouldn't bring the earth ninja back.
"Oh, Edwa-" Bliv's voice came into play.
"Shut the fuck up, Oblivion!" Jay screeched. "You came in and ruined my life! You killed my friends, you hurt Nya!"
"Don't you see, Edward James?" Bliv smiled. "It was all you. You're the monster that killed your friends, Jay, not me."
"No, that's not true!" Jay sobbed, but the more he thought about it, the more it seemed to be the truth. Bliv was only there to give him the extra push while feeding; he never once took over his body when he fought his friends, when he drank Nya's blood.
"See? Now you're getting it." The Ignacian cannibal ran a finger through his jet black hair, flashing his fangs at Jay. "Hey, I know this is completely out of context, but do you think I'm attractive? I know I'm a ghost and all, but once I get another vessel, maybe some girls would like m-"
"Nya! Oh, fuck, where are you?" Jay immediately recognized Kai's voice from down the hall.
"Like him? The fire ninja and I would be a good combination, wouldn't you say?"
"No! That's sick! Besides, you can't even possess an Ignacian pureblood!"
Bliv gave no reply, only a smug grin.
"Right...?" Jay said with less confidence.
"Edward James Walker, you are so ignorant!" Bliv cackled. "Your friends, ah, Kai and Nya? They're only half-Ignacian."
"What?"
"And another thing? Their mother was just like me, an Ignacian cannibal! The bitch decided to be a little traitor though, and help those goddamn guardians by going undercover. It's such a good thing I killed her in the end, and I would have gobbled her little brats up too, if it weren't for their father."
"So... Is Nya half-Ignacian cannibal?" Jay was suddenly worried for the samurai.
"No, but if I possess one of them, my spirit will be put to rest, and they will become fully-Ignacian cannibal."
"No possession?"
"No possession. I will be diminished forever, able to be put to rest."
"Then go ahead, possess Kai."
It was going to be the most awful thing he's ever done, but Jay had a plan.
