Jay couldn't recall what happened next. His head went numb, his dead heart beating faster than ever. Jay collapsed to the floor, not crying but in shock. Pain. Everything was hurting now, his head, his heart strings, his chest.

Nya... How could she?

Jay was suddenly filled with a boiling rage. It masked the pain he kept in his chest.

Right... How could she do this to him? He was hers. She was his. Was there someone else? Was she bored of him? Jay obviously didn't do anything wrong. He couldn't have. Jay furrowed his brows, dwelling on this.

'Bliv... How could she do this to me, to us? I'm the greatest thing that's probably ever happened in her pathetic little mortal life. How dare she take me for granted, ungrateful... bitch.'

Bliv was silent, as usual. Where was he?

Jay felt horrible. It felt as if his heart had shriveled up and died, leaving only a cold, unforgiving rock.

What was he becoming?

Nya was sobbing, her face against the wall. She wouldn't stop apologizing.

It really was annoying of that ungrateful wretch.

'I need to shut her up; she's annoying me. I wonder how she tastes. That Ignacian blood really was delicious the first time I had it... Perhaps I could have a little taste of her, maybe even swallow her whole. Yeah, that'd be nice... Besides, I haven't eaten in a while...'

Jay felt his stomach growl, ravenous, craving the blood that was equivalent to milk and honey.  His mouth watered, picturing the girl in his arms, drawing blood from her neck and shoulders. Besides, she was weak now... Vulnerable, yes, vulnerable...

'I don't want to kill her though. Not that I like her around or anything, but I want to savor her blood. She's mine, and no one else can have her. What should I do, oh poor little Nya? Shall I nip your throat now, or later? Sometimes life throws these little challenges at us, huh?'

Nya's crying was silent now. She had stopped apologizing, her back still to Jay.

The blue ninja locked the door, a grin spreading across his lips. He could feel his fangs growing in, his skin getting colder, his roots rapidly changing color.

Soon Nya's steady heartbeat boomed in his sensitive ears, the vibrations sending his mind haywire. Damn, what he would give to swallow a girl whole. It would ruin his figure though, so he would have to wait and be patient until she was lifeless.

Jay placed his hands on Nya's bare shoulders. He felt her shudder in shock when she reacted to his cold touch; how very rude of her!

"Jay..." Nya mumbled groggily. "What are you doing? I told you, we need to break up."

Jay smirked to himself and answered, "Darling, what's one last kiss? Besides..."

Jay bit Nya's ear, blood flowing steadily through his teeth. Nya gasped and tried to escape, but was held tight in Jay's unwelcome embrace, his hand covering her mouth so she was unable to scream. Jay pulled away and licked the sweet honey off his lips.

"Ah... Mmm... As I was saying, besides, you're too delicious to throw away to someone else."
